I came in this Sunday at 7am to get gas and was very sleepy. The gal working was incredibly friendly and our conversation gave me a pleasant start to my Sunday

Pull up at 1am to buy gas, and third-rate kip tells me I have to go into shop to pay. Won’t be coming here again.

Went to this to this location to buy some snacks and use the restroom Melina said they were closed I accepted it, went to proceed with my payment for my snacks. Melina told my boyfriend and in a rude and threatening voice she has was going to call security for no reason at all. Prior to when she told us she was going to call security she had told us she had to keep it professional because of her two kids & she would get another charge . Very unprofessional

High prices, pump problems, credit card problems, and zero customer service are common at this gas station. Nothing has changed since I first wrote this review 5 yrs ago. Avoid this station if you can.

On 3 June 2018 @957pm I drove through the car wash and as I was wiping down my car I saw 2 security officers standing in front of the mini mart entrance looking directly in my direction. Sadly this wasn't the first time but this one was so obvious. Talk about IMPLICIT BIAS.. I will never ever step foot into Rowley Chevron or any other Chevron.. I will stick will Shell.

Horrible car wash. Streaks all over the windows, cup holder wasn't cleaned. Everyone who works there is a pervert, maybe if they paid enough attention to my car as they do my chest they would do a better job!

I was sitting in the parking lot for 30 minute in my car, on the phone with a friend who was in a psychological crisis. I finally was able to get of my car to purchase cigarette and the man who worked on Feb 20 at 3 am told me I cannot sit on the parking lot. I explained was I was on the phone and he said he didn’t care and called security. I took my business somewhere else. I called back to ask him if he has ever been on the phone with his ear friend who was suicidal and he said no. I told him that maybe he should think about that next time and that I didn’t appreciate him calling security on me and he hung up. Rude, inconsiderate, and even sociopathic. I will contact the manager of this place. That disgusting person should not work in customer service. I’m appalled

Employee by the name of Zack deserves recognition. Their system froze and the wrong amount due came up. I paid and went to my car without a second thought. Employee by the name of Zack cane outside and located me inside my vehicle and gave me $3 back stating their system had a glitch and overcharged me. Thank you Zack for your honesty. Amazing customer service skills!

Paid $10 for the car wash to stop working for me. It's impossible to hear what it's saying and the lights are burnt out. I drove in, wash never started. Love wasting money, this is perfect for you

It's a gas station, with no lines for gas! Quick, basic car wash for $4.99 (if you get gas). Can't have super high expectations from a machine wash and rinse, but it is a brand new facility. Mini mart with the usual snacks and drinks, and they have propane. Workers have always seemed nice enough. It's a gas station.

I hope owner, Gary Rowley, does not treat his wife and daughters the way he treated me. The car wash is absolutely useless, and when I asked to go through a second time because my windshield was covered in dirt, the owner proceeded to demean my car and insult me. I have been coming to this gas station for the last 20 years out of convenience, and I am done.

One of my favorite places to go. Been going for years using several different cars. Don't go inside much. Always someone new at the register. They are usually nice. Car wash is basic and brushless. If your car is real dirty it won't clean that well. Gas prices are often high, because of the ease of location and high volume in sales. My review is higher then others because I go in get gas and leave. Always a pump available. Pumps usually all ways work. I pay more for my fuel because I like a higher octane. You can tell the difference if your car is a performance car. No problems as of yet other then the customers. They are not responsible for that.

Locked in Bathroom - think twice before using this Chevron station - employees and management have no regard for their customers. This evening the men’s bathroom lock broke and I was trapped inside for 45 minutes. The employee behind the counter took a minute to try and open the door and when it wouldn’t open the employee called the manager who hung up after saying “there is nothing I can do”. Then the employee went back to helping customers and ignored my situation. My wife took action and called the fire department. The Oceanside Fire Department are my heroes - somehow they were able to move the deadbolt and get me out. When I was leaving the employee would not acknowledge me so I went out of my way to say “can’t I even get an I’m sorry”. I will find another gas station to give my business to. I am usually not a complainer, but I thought you all had to hear this.

I used to love this chevron, it’s close to my home, convenient and never had a problem with customer service. Except lately.. nights ranging between 10pm-midnight when the short middle aged male is working the doors are locked and no one comes to the window. On other nights when female employees are there, the doors stay open til midnight and they are never away from the register. When the male is working the night shift, the hours to go into the store are inconsistent. I watched him turn away multiple customers before midnight. He even told one female to go get what she wanted to buy there from Winco down the street. Tonight I went down there around 11:45 to get gas and went up to the door and it was locked. Another customer was already waiting there and mentioned that this happens often and he had been waiting there for 45 minutes already. As I was leaving I saw the male employee finally unlock the door and let him in. I’m assuming his shift ends at midnight and for the last two hours of his shift he locks the doors and ignores customers or tells them to go somewhere else. He’s literally telling customers to spend their money else where and they will and will not come back if this continues I guarantee it. This has only been an issue during in the last year while this certain male employee is working nights. All the female employees at night are wonderful and I’ve never had an issue with any one else but him.

Bought the unlimited car wash. The app did not work today and I had to pay additional because people were lined up behind me. Went inside. The rudest girl behind the counter said she couldn't help that I had to contact the manager. I ask if he could call me. She said he wouldn't call. She gave me a crayon and piece of paper to leave him a note. After leaving a message on the app and calling to let s a message at the corporate H&S Office, I didn't receive a call back and it's been a week. Also their website states 24/7 support but when you call they give the hours 8-5 M-F. These people are not set up for business. So purchasing the unlimited car washes is a gamble. It may or may not work. I did figure out that if you close everything on the phone before trying to use, you will have better luck with it working. (Like audiobooks/podcasts)

Thomas at this location is rude, condescending, and has an unwillingness to help. He should not have a job in customer service. All other employees at this location especially Zach are outstanding.

The review isn't against the gas station itself. It's the car wash. For the past few years I've been taking my personal and my work vehicles through this wash. Everything used to work fine until they came out with the new Platinum wash. I've always paid for The Works but I noticed that when this new wash came out whenever I go through, the sealant product doesn't spray. I've complained about it to the manager of h&s and he says everything's fine. I know everything's not fine because I used to take my car through here all the time and it just so happens that when the new Platinum wash comes out all of a sudden the lower tier Works is having issues. I hope this can be fixed because I feel like it's a simple solution and the manager is incompetent

Ive been traveling on the road and have had a week stop in Oceanside and have been coming to the chevron gas station for gas and at night to use their restroom for the last approximately 3 days. It was around 5:35 am and I went into their restroom. Within 5 minutes I was already having the door knocked on aggressively and in a harassing manner. I told them multiple times I was wiping myself, so they could understand I can’t just get up and open the restroom. They kept urging me to finish and go. I’m a woman and I’m also on my period which is why I have been needing to come at night to do my duties, clean and change myself. There isn’t a 5 minute limit on the door policy anywhere for me to be aware there even is such a policy. This is what I was told by the staff at chevron. Customers cannot be more than 5 minutes in a restroom or they will get harassed. It made me quite upset as it is the 3rd time I am harassed while sitting on the toilet. I went over to speak to the worker and a customer felt like he could cut me off, speak over me, and mistreat me in front of the worker who did nothing about it. The whole interaction with the worker regarding how I felt harrassed was nothing but gaslighting on the worker’s part. It was such a toxic experience that it made me cry. How was I supposed to know there is a 5 minute policy when there is no sign anywhere? Every single customer faces harassment after 5 minutes in the restroom? Is there a limit of nights a customer can come and use the restroom? I purchase gas at this gas station and it was baffling to experience such poor and rude customer service. It truly feels like they were twisting the situation just to put me down. The woman on the photo said I use the restroom a long time every single time. That is a lie and I will be speaking to corporate about what occurred.
