Went to this car wash for a quick rinse to get pollen off. Just got the express 5 dollar wash. Sub par wash that missed the middle of my car because the sprayers didn’t reach my small Nissan Sentra. Got home and noticed the next day I had a pending charge of 10 dollars to the car wash and today it went through as a 12 dollar charge. I tried to call, no answer. Now I’m sitting here at the car wash calling and no attendant. Additionally there is no sign with a number to call other than the one nobody seems to answer. Got charged 12 dollars for a sub par express wash. Never again will I use this car wash.

Seems like one of the last places where you can spray your own vehicles. Most car washes are the drive-through type nowadays. The pressure washer has the best pressure of all the places I have been to. I bring my Sea-Doo to wash it down after riding in the salt water. With the amount of pressure from the washer, I am able to remove all of the waster from the footwells. Most car washes can't do this. Hope they stay around.

The $12 Yorktown special does not wash your SUV. My SUV was still dirty and I had to wash it myself again. There is no contact number for a refund or to alert someone that the wash does not work. The vacuums are low pressure so you are just moving the dirt around instead of cleaning the carpets. No tri-foam on the wash. I didn't even get the rain x promised. Be aware of going to this car wash. Not worth the headache since no one answers the phone.

I went over and used the free vacuums which are great but the automatic car washes are charging double for the $5 dollar express wash with no notification posted anywhere - that is fraud by deception - I am disputing the charges with my bank and reporting them. Be very careful if you use this place.

This place has been my go to car wash for years. Has really gone downhill lately. Car is still dirty after a wash. Just threw away $12. Drove in and the car wash never came on. Email on the sign outside is no good - email bounced back. Tried the phone #. Out of service. Total rip off!

Came to vacuum my truck and wash my floor mats and the inside of my bed. Used my debt card, maybe 5 mins of use and they have it set on a meter that you can't stop like other places. Charged me $15 for 5 mins of use. Not worth it here. Had to wait till timer ran out so no one got a free car wash off of me.

Car was still dirty after being scrubbed before going into the touch less car wash. I was also charged 10 instead of 3 dollars to use the self service station. I also had to use 2 different vacuums and they both where not very strong. I would come back and try it again though. It was also a safe environment, plenty of space to drive, also not as overwhelming in decorations and lights as other car washes nearby.

Been stopping at Washmoore on Big Bethel Rd and I’m not sure what the negative reviewers are on about – the place is exactly what the people need! It’s self-service with spacious bays and powerful sprayers. The vacuums are strong, getting my ride clean inside and out easily. Fair prices and right in Yorktown. It’s been my go-to for a quick car cleanup. Definitely recommend!

A cheap quick way to spray your car down with soap and rinse. Can't complain for how simple and easy it is to use this car wash. The vacuums used to be free a long time ago but I get it... I'd recommend using quarters rather than using a credit card.

I went there and got the $12 “Yorktown special” laser wash. It’s special alright, it stained my white paint a nice blotchy blue, buyer beware.

Easy access, wide open, plenty of vacs. Couple of manual wash bays and a couple of automated ones. Most expensive was $12 then $10 then $5. Very reasonable prices. Card reader to get coins for the vacuums wasn't working so I was unable to do that while there. Manual wash gives you 5 minutes for $3. 5 minutes for washing seems just a tad short forcing you get an extra 5 when you probably only needed 2. No warning sound or anything when your time is running out so keep count. Overall I like this car wash, not being able to use vacuum was disappointing but I like how open it is.

Visiting the self car wash was a game-changer for me. It's not just a car wash; it's an opportunity to take control of the cleanliness of your vehicle. The setup was incredibly user-friendly. The high-pressure hoses, quality soap, and well-maintained brushes made the process a breeze. I appreciated the clear instructions and ample space provided to maneuver around my car. What truly stood out was the sense of empowerment. Being able to personally attend to every nook and cranny of my vehicle gave me a real sense of satisfaction. It's a therapeutic experience, connecting with your car in this way. The facility was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting a commitment to providing a clean environment for customers. The availability of various cleaning products and accessories was a thoughtful touch, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a thorough wash. Moreover, the affordability of the self car wash was a pleasant surprise. It's a cost-effective way to maintain the appearance and condition of your vehicle without breaking the bank. I left with a sparkling clean car and a newfound appreciation for self car washes. It's an experience I'll be repeating regularly. If you're looking for a convenient, empowering, and efficient way to keep your car in tip-top shape, I highly recommend giving this self car wash a try.

This car wash just cleaned my car squeaky clean for $5. It is one of few actual “touch less” washes around with powerful blasts of wash water removing the dirt after 2 coats of effective detergent. Other washes have those brushes that have grit embedded from other car’s washes that scratch your finish. The wash even cleaned the rear under the trunk hood, where other washes have not done well. The follow-on spotless rinse was truly spotless! Without the blow dry (at the $5 price), a drive at 50 mph on hampton highway dried the car beautifully. There are NO spots on the windows.

Wanted to wash car here by starting with vacuum. Put in 50 cents. Vacuum never started and wouldn’t return the 50 cents.

Car wash was $12 for touch-less wash. Put a $20 bill and was only given $5 in change. The wash also missed the bottom half of my car and part of the windshield. Can’t find a way to contact the owner.

Don’t waste your money. The laser wash touch less hasn’t worked right in the last few months. Today only one was working and only partly. Selected the most expensive wash “Yorktown Special”, didn’t seem like all of the nozzles were working, didn’t get triple foam treatment, only half of the car got dried. The photo was taken right after I got home from the wash.

Just know if you go here it's a 50 percent chance that after you pay the wash won't work. And it's a hassle trying to get a hold of the owner.

The parent company of Washmore Yorktown is literally called Washmore. You can go on their site and choose this location if you have issues getting ahold of the owner like I did. I even sent an email to the address listed on the building but it waskicked. Ack as undeliverable mail.. FIX YOUR EQUIPMENT. There are literally a handful of vacuums.. it’s not hard to make sure that they work or that the hoses are EVEN ATTACHED!!

Don't put more money in anything there thinking it will simply prolong the use wrong ! 50 cents at a time . 3.oo dollars at a time. Slack on the tri foam way Slack. 5 minutes for 3 dollars. Other than that it's clean. An easy to use . Plenty of room .this car wash isn't bad . Once you learn it it's actually pretty good 👍

Went to wash off my car after going to the OBX. Paid $3.00 for the first 5 minutes and fed in quarters as time expired. Probably paid around $7.00 total for rinse, foam brush and another rinse. I think that’s a fair price considering what some people pay for ridiculously expensive coffee. Everything worked as expected so I am a happy customer. Love that the location is close to where I live.
