Beware! Thomas Boyd cannot be trusted. I tried to help a fellow small business owner out by giving him some work. I let him detail both of my cars in a week. How does he reward my loyalty? Rather than saying "thank you, I appreciate your patronage," he stole $6,750.00 from me through a series of five fraudulent transactions on my debit card, ($190.00, $60.00, $2,000.00, $2,000.00, $2,500.00). He tried to claim that he was robbed right after I picked up my car and the robbers stole his phone and his customers' card info. He said the robbers stole my money, not him. How convenient that it went into HIS bank account. The other problem is that he was not robbed. It is a lie. He told the same lie to another customer three weeks earlier when he ran up $800 on her debit card (see earlier Google review from Shreya Malhotra). So Mr. Boyd, you were robbed twice within three weeks and both times the robbers stole your phone and ran up fraudulent charges on your customers' debit cards? With the money going into YOUR bank account? Please. Look at his ridiculous responses to the negative reviews. The man is obviously a pathological liar. There were also other customers before that that he stole from. And it happened again just yesterday. Look at the review by Brittany Turner. Check all of his other negative reviews on Google and Yelp. You will see that this is how this man does business. Boyd's Car Wash N Detail is really just a guy who steals from his customers who happens to details cars on the side. The detailing thing is just how he gets his victims. Police reports have been filed and more victims have been identified. Charges are pending. Boyd's response to all this when I confronted him was that he did the "right thing" by returning the money and reversing the charges (BTW, he hasn't returned anything. That's a lie too!). Any other victims out there, please contact me. I am not hard to find on google. I will put you in touch with the detectives on the case. We will stop this man and put him behind bars where he belongs. Here's a lesson that I hope he learns in prison, which is where he is headed: If you rob a bank and later return the money, you're still a bank robber. You've done the crime and will do the time. Same thing here. The only thing he is sorry about is that he got caught.

I've had services that cleaned the outside and inside of my car for $50. Boyd charged me $70 just to clean the inside and didn't clean it thoroughly. I wanted to get this done before work, showed up at 7am, waited in the lobby of the building where he cleans cars in the parking structure. My car was emptied out and pretty immaculate except for the coffee strains on the backseat and seatbelts. I even marked the problematic areas with tape to alert the areas. The service at best is mediocre, he was nice to me. But I can't justify paying a large fee for work that was a $10 job...I could have done it better myself with elbow grease.

Fantastic job. I wish I had before and after photos. My car looks better than it did the day that I bought it. It is clear that he took all of the time that he needed to get my car in perfect condition. He even offered me lower pricing for periodic interior/exterior cleanings to keep my car looking good. Thomas did a phenomenal job on my Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid--he made the car look sparkling clean and new! He had immense patience with all the animal hair in the car and I could hardly see anything after he was finished--he took great care and consideration in his work and I was enormously happy with the result. I will absolutely call Thomas to make an appointment in the future and ask him to work on my car on a consistent basis--he is the best!

Highly recommend. Good prices for superb work. I can't explain any negative reviews this guy got, maybe he was having one of those days we've all had. Thomas was incredibly polite and respectful, and did a simply amazing job on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee. It looked better than when I bought it NEW. If all that wasn't enough, he felt so bad that I had to drive home in a torrential downpour right after he got it gleaming that he called me later that day and offered me a free exterior wash once the weather cleared up. Now that's customer service!

I inherited a 2017 Corvette from my father and had no idea where to take it for a wash. I have a bad back, so I can't wash it myself. The tires are too big to fit in any automatic car wash and it sits too low for the touchless car washes (they only clean the top half of the car, which looks really weird!). Looked high and low for a hand wash at an affordable price. Finally found Boyd's and was not disappointed. Thomas is as nice a person as I've ever met and very professional. He did an outstanding job for a price that can't be beat. I will be a frequent customer. Highly recommended!

As someone who detailed cars in a past life, I am very particular. I brought my girlfriend's car to Mr Boyd for a detail and permanent repair of the clouded headlights. The car practically changed colors from faded to red to shiny new. I could not have been more satisfied with the buff and wax job, but he insisted that I bring it back for another pass at the dead paint on the roof with some different products (even after he already spent 3+ hours working on it). I did not have any trouble scheduling but he did stress that his services are by appointment only. This is obviously because of the personalized service he provides and the amount of time dedicated. I brought my SUV in the following week and he did a great job on it as well. He really is skilled at his work. You will appreciate it every time you get into your car for months to come. I thought the pricing was very fair and am quite happy with my investment.

I left my windows down during a thunder storm and caused mold to form. My husband called Boyd’s out to deep clean my car and they did an amazing job! The mold is gone and that smell, OMG is gone. He came to my house and everything was awesome from his professionalism to his detail to attention! I would highly recommend!!!
