Bob Rohrman Hyundai in Lafayette, IN, is the absolute BEST car dealership I have ever worked with. A big shout out to Zachary and Gavin. Being pressured to buy a vehicle does not fly here and if you have a valid complaint, let it be known and you will see a change. I can't say enough about this car buying experience. They pulled out all the stops to find what I was looking for and not only made the deal I needed, they made it even better. I shopped another dealership and not only was the difference night and day, but it was also the worst and most disrespectful encounter I have ever had. They will never get business or a referral from me. I'm still in shock as to how that particular salesman acted. Zachary and Gavin are the dynamic duo at Bob Rohrman Hyundai, Lafayette, IN. If you're looking to buy a car, give them an opportunity to provide a wonderful car buying experience. Thank you guys so very much! J. Trent

Terrible experience at this Hyundai dealer. If you want to get screwed by a bunch of Premature man who can’t control their feelings and provide you with false information all throughout your experience then be my guest, if not then save your time and go somewhere else. Especially if you’re a woman shopping for a vehicle on your own. They feed you lies and are actually disrespectful, dishonest and only cares about “closing the deal”. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Jordan in the service department is so great! He was efficient, thorough, NOT the “pushy service dept guy”, explained things in a way that an inexperienced woman would know LOL, and just all around a great guy! He made the little wait time for my car to get serviced worth it. Thanks to the service guys for also doing a great job on the services I had performed. I’ll be returning 😊

Very disappointing experience. We were promised a deal that included an oil change and a car wash, but when it came time to deliver, the business went back on their word and did not include either service. When we brought this up, Aidan and Russel became visibly upset instead of trying to resolve the issue. They refused to help us get familiar with or set up the vehicle and were extremely rude throughout the interaction. We were ultimately told to leave and “come back tomorrow” rather than being assisted. Poor customer service and lack of accountability. I would not recommend based on this experience.

I’ve had the best experience here, I came to purchase a car because I had just lost my own a month before, I was in an accident and needed a car for work. Everything seemed very good, until I was sold the car and stuff were added onto my price without me knowing the price of each or being explained what they were exactly. A month later I checked all my paperwork and my car went from the price of $18k to $25k with my 6k down payment. I purchased the paint and protection, but it also showed “I purchased” the extended warranty of almost 4k without me knowing any of it. There is also a GPS THAT I AN BEING CHARGED FOR?!! when I contacted the salesman who sold me the car and brought my concerns to him, he said “there’s nothing we can do about it. I don’t know what VSI warranty you’re talking about.” he didn’t EVEN KNOW what it was. I’ve been trying to contact him for a few other concerns and he completely ignores me. I went in for a service with my car and the was there but DID NOT even say hello. bob rohman kia also tried to do the same thing to my mother in law. The absolute worst customer service from salesmen. My first and last time ever buying a car off of here.

🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 PLEASE DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE! The people that work there are very shady! I had the worst experience buying a vehicle at BOB ROHMAN HYUNDAI. You know that feeling when you buy a new car, you should feel happy. well at this place I didn’t. It felt very off. They make your way for a very long time so you get tired. I have informed my sales person that I got pre approved with capital one and let my credit run with just capital one. hours passed he said i got approved for it. just have to wait for the finance person to process my paperwork. I asked them how much is my monthly since I got approved. They could NOT give me an exact answer. they play with the numbers. just saying to me face it between $600-$700. In my mind, it was weird that they could not give me what was my monthly payment of the car im purchasing. the paper work was also lacking a lot of information. The first paperwork that was showed to me was $36,489.05 which i agreed and signed. he also told me i have to pay 10% on taxes because i'm from illinois but the paperwork shows a different amount on the taxes which I questioned because it was 6.25%. right there I caught him being super shady already. I have told him that I would like to have a copy of these paperwork before i leave the dealership. I needed to see the bill of sale. He said he can’t give me a copy. He will just email it to me. I left the dealership with a new car but no paperwork which was very off. few days passed by, i called, i asked a copy of bill of sale. they kept passing me around from one person to another. I even emailed the finance department and no response. I have given it another week. I called and the same thing I get passed around. the year of 2025 was about to end I still don’t have a copy of my bill of sale. I called the bank and they said they have a copy so I asked for a copy. It was so bizarre to me that the bill of sale and the paperwork that I signed when i was at the dealership was completely different amount on it and they added a random amount of extra $3641 to it as “bundle product” that i wasn’t aware and didn’t signed. they think im stupid that i wont notice their red flags. a warning to people to please always read your contract when buying a car. again, PLEASE DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! shop elsewhere. i have regretted buying a car here. i understand that dealership needs to make money and its a business. what they did was just wrong. i hope their conscience allows them peace, knowing the money they bring home to their family was taken from customers they deceived. Someone worked hard to buy a car, trusted them and ended up paying more than they should have because of dishonest paperwork and misleading practices. Its disappointing to see that kind of predatory behavior towards people. I hope your day reflects the way you chose to treat your customers! Unfortunately, it got worst for me, by January I was getting letters from different banks about the loan. They didn’t tell me that they run my credit on dec 30th even though I was approved already by capital one and had the car already for more than a week. I got letters as well from car insurance of application even though I didn’t apply for it. They just did everything without informing me on what was going on. Up until today there is no plate on my car. Every time I call they have been passing me around who to talk to about having a vehicle plate. THE WORST DEALERSHIP I ever encounter! The employees have no sympathy and would lie over the phone when asking basic question.

Very mixed bag visit. Apparently I ruined someone’s day by pulling up to the unlabeled garage door and got lectured for parking at the exit (how am I supposed to know?). I push back on that fact and get stared down by the tech. We managed to get past it but then mysteriously my appointment was nowhere to be found. Not this one or any future one like I got the days mixed up or something. It didn’t exist and Angry wrong door guy couldn’t find it. Keep in mind you guys called me the week before to tell me the parts were in and we scheduled it together over the phone. Only saving grace was I was squeezed in anyway but that meant it took forever. 1 star for the tech, 5 for squeezing me in and 3 for time. A 3star average is the best you guys get from me this time.

My fiancé and I had an amazing experience with both Tyler (sales manager) and Andy (our sales guy) when buying our pre owned vehicle. We had been through the wringer the days leading up to this experience with other dealerships in the area. After sharing our story, Tyler did everything possible to make this car work for us, which we are beyond grateful for. Overall, we are super happy with the car and how we were treated throughout the whole process. The ONLY complaint I could have was how long it took, I was HANGRY, but then Andy offered me some chick fil a chips and I felt better. 5 stars!

Have to say that the sales team did a great job. They valued our trade in enough to give us more than book value. They were polite and explained each step in the process. There were a couple of small defects in the paint job on the hood of our new Tucson which of course they agreed to fix. However we were informed today that there will not be a loaner while the work is done. Something that came down from corporate apparently. I hope they don’t have to pay for a rental for the two/ three days it will take to fix the paint defects. We will see though. Again the sales team was top notch and one of them even has good taste in hats.

UPDATE: I once said "I Wish I could give ZERO stars" however after days long calling we finally spoke to Mitch who seems to be a stand up guy. He chose to be proactive on checking part warrenties AND reached back out to us to let us know that we can bring the vehicle back in as the part should be under warranty and they'll fix it. It is likely for us to suggest this place to others in the future.

I’ve been to several Hyundai dealerships’ service departments over the years to service my Hyundais, and this was the best experience I’ve had! Service Advisor Josiah was excellent. He was thorough without going over the top to explain every minute detail. He was also very knowledgeable, professional, and considerate of my time. The lounge area was very clean and comfortable.
