You can find some great bargains here at Big Lots. Food, Drinks, Canned goods, makeup, paper products, bath and kitchen essentials and more. Sign up for their reward program and they will send you a very nice coupon ever now and then. Store is clean and folks there seem efficient and nice.

One of the sest Big Lots in the area. Store is well maintained and clean and staff very helpful. Always a great place for deals on unique foods and items. I definitely go several times every season as they are always changing stock to match seasonal events.

I use to shop here regularly, but as of last year I have stopped. They are always out of products so whoever is responsible for scheduling shipments is not the best at doing so. Also, the managers follow and have the associates follow minorities around and for some reason they think customers do not notice...they do. There is also an associate there and her husband is a problem. No, he does not work there but management allows him to stay around while she works her shift (it is really odd) and he follows customers around, too. Looks a domestic violence/stalking issue to me. Anywho, he has caused several issues with customers, too. If they keep the same management team, the store is not going to last. A word of advice to the store manager. Stop following customers...it is obvious and ridiculous and you are a part of the problem too...I have witnessed you following customers. Stop allowing family members of your team to hang around...it is unprofessional and really causes an uncomfortable experience for shoppers because he is extremely uncomfortable to be around. Step back and look at your management team and make some immediate changes. I am sure it will make a huge difference in your employee and customer retention rates, especially if you want the store to last beyond 10 years.

Waited in line for 15 minutes on Friday 8/12/22. One black girl was doing the long line, 3 girls over in furniture just talking helping NO ONE and a white manager constantly coming out to smoke and see the long line. As a customer service manager for 28 years, when you see more than 3 people in line there should be 2 cashiers on. This girl had 8 people and no help. Train your managers. TRAIN THEM!

We purchased a loveseat with two recliners and we got the insurance as well. The recliner came broken, the back of one recliner lays way back. I Called the store, Dover DE, he said looks like you bought the insurance and I said yes. He said you need to contact them. I called them and was told if it came broken the store needs to replace it. Called the store and went through the story again. After back and forth with the store and insurance several times. The store said they would replace it. After dozens of calls to the store following up when the replacement would arrive and being told another 6-8 weeks after a year we just gave up. Don’t purchase from this place they don’t back their products and sell you insurance that doesn’t work.

The staff at this location greets you with a smile when you enter the store. They ask if they can assist you with anything. We visit this location 30 minutes before closing on Thanksgiving Day. I don't know if the cashiers where distracted by this fact but they weren't as friendly and need customer service training. Overall, I would come back to this location.

I could not believe how clean this Big Lots was. They didn't have exactly what I wanted but found something similar though a bit pricey. Paying $7 for a pastry blender was not on my good list but at least I now have one again and anyone that cooks from scratch knows how important one of these items are worth. Still I would have been happy with a cheaper model.

Big Lots is surprisingly very convenient. They have all the essential items you will need from food to supplies. Especially your essential office supplies like coffee and filters for your coffee machine! The staff has always been really calm and friendly. You can quickly get in find what you're looking for and get out. Yeah... its a convenient store. I guess that is why they call it that.

Big Lots I just wanted to share what an awesome experience I had with Big Lots. Before Christmas I ordered several decorations off of their website. On top of the great deals they were offering, I received free shipping. Unfortunately, one of the items I received was broken. I didn’t want to call the store so I sent a message on their website asking if I had to go to the store or if I could mail it back to receive my refund. They emailed me less than 12 hours later apologizing for the inconvenience and initiated a refund right away! No questions asked, bo return of the item needed! I sent another message a few days later because I still hadn’t received one of the items I ordered. I just asked them if someone could let me know an eta on the delivery of the item. I got an email right away explaining that they did get my message but due to the holiday the response might be a little delayed. I completely understood because it was only a day or two before Christmas. I couple days ago I got another email apologizing for the inconvenience of not receiving the item and they initiated a ful refund. Even though I had some mishaps with the items, I still highly recommend shopping with Big Lot’s. Things will always happen that aren’t ideal, but they way they handled those mishaps is why I will not only continue to shop with them but shop at their stores first!

This has been the laziest Big Lots I’ve ever been to!!!! A bunch of employees walking around with their heads in phones and ignoring customers!! Let’s not talk about the bathroom!! It was a sewage dump!! They haven’t cleaned it in months!! Flies everywhere!! Toilet paper on the floor and no soap!! I couldn’t even use it!! They just need to get rid of the whole store

The fact that they do not honor the prices on the shelves is enough for me to never return. Also when an employee blames customers for moving an entire product to a shelf it speaks volumes as to the quality of people they hire. Whoever manages this store should be fired and replaced. Nothing is priced consistent $15 for 6 rolls of paper towels is wild. This is not a discount store for sure. A lot of their product is way more than other stores Dover doesn't need Big Lots at all. Also who wants to stand in line for over an hour while employess walk around the store.

Convenience is why I shop here. Prices and selection are pretty on par with other businesses like them. I love the rewards I receive. I shop there more often than I used to because the rewards really help save $. The only suggestion would be more variety and inventory in other areas besides holiday items.

The furniture manager was so kind and accommodating even though we didn’t realize they closed earlier than google had listed on Sundays. We picked out a table and he had it in on a cart within 5 minutes and helped us load it onto the truck bed. Fantastic service, fair prices, and such accommodating employees. We will definitely be back for future purchases.

Good customer service, and clean store. Some Big Lots stores are in not the best areas and a little dirty, but this one is in a good area and has a bright/clean atmosphere. We purchased an electric fireplace here and the service was good. They helped load it, and gave us a discount since it was a floor model with some surface dings. This location also has a big furniture department.
