We have brought our SUV here for many different reasons, multiple times, more than four times. Bad experiences ever... We should've learned since the 1st time we brought it in. Our vehicles would last days at the shop and they: hemorrhaging money. Lack communication, you need to constantly call them to get any update. Every time we'd pick up the vehicle after getting it "fixed" something else was wrong with it.. it was worse... DON'T GO HERE! We took our vehicle elsewhere and have had an excellent experience and fixing all they have ruined here, and return it like new. If I could rate them 0 star I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

I called when I was stuck in town with a not drivable truck, they had an appointment in two days but when they found out the situation they had it done the next day. They also came in $40 under the estimated cost per googling the needed repair. They communicated about the status of my truck and were very pleasent to deal with. I would recommend their work.

The guys here are absolutely fabulous. This was my second time using their services. I thought my first time there was just a lucky break. They were polite and helped with replacing a bad taste moniter so I could get back on the road the very next morning. But this time a year later I spoke with Dennis the owner about bad bearings and possibly a bad ball joint. He bring it down this afternoon and we will look at it. I did and he gave me a ride back to where I was staying. On the way he said that I looked familiar. I reminded him of my last visit to his shop. He remembered the vehicle I had had then.He told me that they would order parts and get it back to me Tuesday after Christmas. Now understand this was the Friday before Christmas that Sunday. I get a call an hour later letting me know that I did indeed have bad bearings but it was not the ball joint instead it was the hub assembly that needed replacing. I gave the go ahead and he said they would get on it. I hung up the phone happy my vehicle would be fixed but sad thinking I wouldn't get my vehicle back until Tuesday I wasn't going to be able to go visiting on Christmas. Imagine how surprised and happy I was to receive a call the very next morning Saturday telling me my truck was done and ready to be picked up. I recommend ASAP auto repair to anyone looking for a honest repair shop doing great work at a fair price. Call ASAP and tell them what your issue is. They will check it out and tell you what needs done and how much it will cost. Then you decide. They only do what you want done. They don't throw any extras on without checking with you first. What an amazing group of people over at ASAP Auto Repair! I have had an issue with my car for a couple of years now that shows itself on and off, but in those times would leave me stranded with a dead car. I've spent over 5K over the time of having these car problems, trying to get the issue fixed and no other mechanic shop has figured out the issue. The guys over at ASAP Auto are taking the time with me to figure out the issue and not charging me thousands of dollars along the way just because they could. I am a single mom of 3 kids and in this economy, that is hard enough. It may feel like it is hard to come by honest and good people these days. But people and businesses like this show that they still exsist. The staff at ASAP Auto have been so kind and are so patient with trying to figure out the problem. I will never go to another mechanic shop again. I have lived in the Grand Valley for over 20 years and I've never worked with such an honest, kind, and friendly business.

Andy, Dennis and the ASAP crew take special care of Veteran's. I made a list of every fault in my 2007 Buick Lucerne and Andy reminded me that some things didn't need work. They fixed more than just the essentials, at $100 under budget and even made the transmission shift better, just by doing excellent work on the engine. They fixed an untraceable electrical problem that needed a part that was no longer available. They soldered the connection with new wire to make a permanent repair instead of just crimping bad wires together. What does it tell you about a shop whose competitor across the street has a bigger facility and half as many customers? Maybe that's why other mechanics often send unfixable vehicles to ASAP instead of the junkyard. With the price of new cars jumping 10-25% the day after tomorrow, these guys are the best automotive value on the Western Slope.

I just read the reply to my review. And still can’t believe how this place is. I called before coming in and was told to just come in . I never was told they take appointments. I told the receptionist everything that was going on even the door panel being taken off because my husband thought he could fix it and that is why we bought a key hole and stated. “Use it if it fits, if it doesn’t it’s ok I can return it.” I paid for a service to have an alarm to take off and a door fix, I’m not the expert here and I don’t mind paying for a fix. I said that clearly but instead I was gaslighted and said I never said such and am being blamed! A professional place calls you and tells you the piece you got does not fit and it won’t be fix, I would have said to them please fix it even if a new part is needed (like I said in the beginning), it would not have escalated to this if there was better communication and listening skill and overall professionalism. I Never got a call for updates I had to be the one calling every time I even have the call logs. I only wasted my time telling the office staff what they did wrong because they obviously don’t care to learn from their mistakes. And when I called because the owner didn’t (said I would be mad and gave me a day to cool down ..when I had the whole weekend to cool down) he only said “I wish there is a way to help fix this”, that is not what should be said you need to tell people this is what I can do to fix the whole misunderstanding and then tell the options to the customer and I’m sure that if it’s a real solution it would have been agreed , but after my call on Tuesday I see their reply to my review still making me the problem I don’t want to continue getting treated like this. ( if you don’t want to believe the customer look back at the recording of when I came in or get cámaras installed so you can be sure before accusing someone) Original review: slow as possible mechanic. Terrible communication. They don’t take ownership of their mistakes. Office staff blamed me and the owner for the problems. Paid over $300 for a halfway fix.(simple door nob and keyhole fix) they don’t buy quality parts.Never coming back, safe yourself trouble, time, frustration and money.

Excellent fast service! I was traveling thru Grand Junction on my way from Chicago to Reno. Called at 9am on a Monday morning. They had my brake line issue repaired and tested by 1pm so I could make it to Park City to have dinner with my cousin. Excellent owner and employees!
