I used to come to this car wash all the time but stopped because their employees are sloppy and lazy. Today I was in the area and decided to give them another try. Cup holders were left dirty Exterior wasn’t sparkly clean either Very unfortunate, I used to recommend this place to other people. The only good thing about this place is a cat

I paid 110$ for a detail with shampooing and vacuuming and I feel like I dis not get what I paid for in the slightest. There was towel fibers left all over my car and some areas were obviously not even touched at all. Including the inside of the doors. I thought that this would be an easy way for me to save some time out of my routine but I actually lost time because I had to go over everything after I returned home. I know I could easily clean my car myself but I have a very busy schedule and have no problem paying and tipping a business to do so. So when I do pay such a large amount I just expected something quite better than what I got. There was poor vacuuming and I even found traces of white animal hair and there has never been an animal in my vehicle before. I removed every item prior to bringing my car to the establishment except for a charger cable, and my water bottle (the employees found a DVD and dime under the seat and left it in the console). But the weirdest part was when I returned to collect my car afterwards my water bottle only had about 2 ounces of water left in it when it was previously full so I have no idea what happened there.......

I always come here to wash my car but this last time they ripped the paint off the button that controls the window on the driver door. When I mentioned it to the owner he did not believe his employees did it and continued to tell me it was already like that. He did nothing to help. I do not recommend this place. There are better and nicer hand car washes in Houston. There's 2 photos. One was taken the day before when I got my nails done. The button is fine. The other one is after they cleaned it.

awful. started off by locking my keys in the car and leaving a gap in my weather sealant after prying the door open. asked them not to use towels since it’s ceramic coated and to only use the air blower. was still dirty after the first wash at which point I talked to the front desk guy who had an attitude with me. he rewashed the car and still left wet spots all over the hood and front windshield. interior is not cleaned well, there is still dust and the cup holders weren’t cleaned at all. don’t go.

I used to love going here, because the staff was friendly and they always did a great job. However, today the staff broke part of my side mirror, and management said it was my fault it was cracked and must've broken off while I was driving. I utilize my mirrors too much to notice that it was there coming in, but not when leaving.

Bar none, aqua hand car wash & detail has been my go to carwash for years. Even though there are closer places to my house, the 30 minute drive is well worth it. Their basic + service is VERY reasonably priced compared to the competition and my usual go-to service. However, after 3800 mile road trip, I went with the super clean service for my Subaru Forester. You would never know I was just driving thru deserts, blizzards, ice storm and had a ton dead road bugs and tar on the front. Thank you aqua!

I’m never disappointed in the work they do. I get the basic wash and interior cleaning and my car always looks great. They’re fast too, I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes but I also don’t come at peak times. They have a lot of seating indoor and cute swings on the covered patio. The best part is their resident cat who I’ve named Coconut. It’s the sweetest and most friendliest creature. Sit next to the fur-ball and they’ll become your best friend. More businesses should have this perk.

Love this place! Converted 2 months ago from Mister Car Wash - and this place is amazing. I got the monthly membership and while it’s more than Mister, the work and quality is well worth it. They always do a great job, the inside and windows get cleaned each visit. The hand wash is way more thorough and the car shines much more than an automated wash system, and less scratches or damage. The folks are always nice and polite too! Edit : 4 months after I joined, quality and service took a steady nose dive. After the wash, three times in a row I had dirt and mud behind the wheel wells left. The windows had streaks left on them inside and out. The staff went from friendly to grumpy and somewhat confrontational when you asked for touchups on the work. Watched a yelling match between staff and management one day while cars were backed up for an hour and half. Cancelled my membership.

Paid for the super clean+wheel detailing, $95 before tip. 2004 corvette Z06 with custom painted wheels done within the last year. They accidently peeled off the V on the corvette logo across the back, which they were able to fix thankfully, but on further inspection after I realized that they had damaged the paint on the wheels. There are spots on all 4 wheels around the spokes and rim where they had taken the paint off in places. These aren’t in any area that could be confused with curb rash, because there is no curb rash and the area where the paint came off is where they were scrubbing/power washing. On top of that there are plenty of spots on the wheels that aren’t even fully clean. Super disappointed especially with how recently the wheels were painted and I take pride in keeping them perfect, but now there are chips of paint missing on each wheel. The paint job was many coats with a clear coat finish so it’s also definitely not a question of the quality of the paint job. I don’t even know what Aqua can do to make this right. Super disappointed with how much I paid to be left with my vehicle worse than when I brought it in. Tried to call to talk to someone about it and can’t get anyone on the phone. Update: finally after weeks I get someone on the phone who remembered my vehicle, he said they changed management so they probably can’t do anything, which I don’t see how changing managers has anything to do with their business doing hundreds of dollars in damage to my wheels. That paint was custom blended, with multiple coats and a top clear coat. It was an expensive, proper paint job. He said the manager would reach out that following Monday, that was two or three weeks ago. Really upset with the outcome of this. They messed my corvette up, and they are trying to just ignore the issue and wait for it to go away. Notice how there hasn’t been a reply to my review either. I would never go here again unless you want your car messed up. Absolutely infuriating. Considering contacting my lawyer about legal recourse to fix the damage they caused. Absolutely horrible, and I’m afraid to get my car washed by anyone now except myself. Still waiting on that call back with a resolution Aqua… I’d give 0 stars if it was possible. Update 2: Took so many tries to get someone on the phone, weeks and weeks and finally someone answered my call. He said he remembered me and my car, and that since I had been there there was a “new manager” so nothing could be done. What does that have to do with anything??? I was told the manager would reach out as soon as he’s in to discuss and never received a call. I find it interesting that they haven’t acknowledged my review either. They’re doing whatever they can to dodge the damage they caused to the custom blended I had done for the wheels, about a month after they were safe to wash. They were immaculate on arrival. I didn’t even get to spend very long appreciating what I had been wanting for quite some time. Aqua Car Wash, I wanted a professional car wash, be professional and make this right! Also, the wheels aren’t even clean in the pictures, and we’re taken within 15 minutes of the wash! As mentioned I paid for the wheel detail, after the wash, the only details on my new wheels were paint chips and dirt. Ya’ll don’t acknowledge or take accountability for anyone else’s bad reviews either, which seems to be an increasingly common thread here.. I will not stop until this business fixes it’s mistake, I’m sorry for everyone else’s misfortune with this place.

Very good job on my wife's car today. They were swamped with cars, but still got me finished with-in an hour and under $100 for their Super Clear package. I'll be returning with my car, especially because they cleaned up a DEFINITELY filthy car that we haven't really had detailed since we purchased it over 2 years ago. After moving and taking on several loads of rocks and bricks there were thick levels of dirt. All gone now. Looks great!

Have been coming here for 5 years with no issue, bur lately I can’t seem to get consistent service. Will be waiting for over an hour even without many other cars present. Had to grab my keys and leave without my car being finished because was standing around and I couldn’t continue to wait after being there over an hour. Hate to complain but it doesn’t seem right to give someone my business who doesn’t respect my time. I used to recommend this place to all of my friends, but don’t think that will be the case any longer

I had a great experience here. The workers are nice and my car always comes out super clean. And they give free cookies! The line and wait can be long. The lines are usually long and slow. The wait for your car to be washed will be long. But I'm ok with it because they do good work.

I paid for the Basic plus package and received the less than Basic minus package! The customer service was pretty good, the wait time wasn't too bad, but the finished wash was not up to par. I will have to touch up the rims and tires on my truck when I get home. If I pay $55 plus a 20% tip there's no way I should have to do anything once I leave that parking lot.

This place is by far the best car wash I have been to in Houston. No harsh machines, just hand washing. The pricing is amazing as well, especially if you get the monthly unlimited package. Competitors charge about the same per month as here but at aqua you get a full, gentle hand washing on your vehicle, wheel detail, tire shine and they clean the inside as well! The competition only runs your vehicle through the machine and that is all they do. I am very happy that I found this place. The staff has been incredibly helpful, especially Josue who had gone above and beyond to help me out with getting a membership. A big thank you to Josue for his help and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a monthly unlimited car wash package or even a single wash!

After coming here consistently for three years and regularly recommending this place to friends, I am extremely disappointed with my most recent experience at Aqua Hand Car Wash and Detail in Montrose. A few months ago, I signed up for an $80 per month membership that included unlimited basic washes and one Super Clean per month. Historically, whenever I came in, I received the Super Clean without issue. Today, I was told that the membership no longer includes a Super Clean and instead includes a different wash. I explained that I did not want that wash and requested the Super Clean I had always received. I was told that was no longer an option. Since my membership had just been charged, I offered a reasonable solution. Cancel the membership and apply that charge toward a Super Clean today so we could call it even. That request was declined initially but later agreed to. I was quoted approximately two and a half hours for the Super Clean, which is consistent with my past experiences. However, my car was returned in just one hour. Given that there were roughly 15 cars waiting or actively being cleaned at the time, it is simply not possible that my vehicle received a Super Clean. This strongly suggests that I was not given the service I requested or was led to believe I was receiving. Nor does the car appear as it has over the last three years after a super clean. Detail was not given to my vehicle while they cleaned it this time. What was most disappointing was not just the change in the membership terms, but the way it was handled. The interaction at the counter felt dismissive and disrespectful, and I do not appreciate being misled. While the staff generally does good work, honesty and transparency matter. I do not recommend the membership. It is not worth the cost, and based on this experience, I do not trust that the services promised are actually delivered. I have been driving 17 miles to come here out of loyalty and satisfaction with past service, but after three years, I will be taking my business elsewhere permanently. They have lost me as a customer.

Hello, all. Took my vehicle to Aqua this weekend for a detail and shampoo. Crossed paths with the new GM Angel, right hand man Josue, and also with the knowledge of a new owner to Aqua. The entire team at this company will have the new owner of Aqua blissful with the turn over rate of satisfied clients (include me in that percentage rate) streaming through their doors on a frequent basis. I am convinced that the cleaning team has a 6-speed automatic transmission set on high hooked on at all times, but, I must say even with their high volume of work i'm grateful that attention to detail still comes first. Big thanks for the whole team, and I hope their work is noticed because they did a great job. By the time my vehicle drove off the lot it was looking and feeling a hundred times better than when it arrived. Hope to be back sooner than later.
