Took two cars to Accutint. The first experience was poor, because the person called the wrong number to confirm the appointment, and when I didn't respond, she cancelled it. So I waited around and they tinted my car. Forgetting that experience because I wanted FormulaOne tint and was trying to be a good person, I brought a luxury SUV in for FormulaOne tint. The shop put the wrong tint on the car after promising a match, even though I had thermal glass on the car with a green tint to it, and dyed privacy glass on the back. It didn't match, so I went back for them to remove it. They insisted on putting the correct tint on the car but darkening it, as opposed to simply removing the tint and refunding me. In doing so, they put a hole in my perforated leather seat, and instead of taking full responsibility, they wanted to outsource the repair to a repair shop to do a leather patch that the repair shop said will not match, and is not ever going to be factory quality. Porsche themselves stated a replacement was needed. Accutint finally agreed to replace the seat, but they still wanted to use a third-party shop and wanted me to drive to their shop, drive around their beat up loaner, and drive back to them. They refused to let Porsche do the work, which is what was necessary to receive a warranty, but most importantly was least disruptive to me, because Porsche would give me a loaner and service my car while they fixed the seat. What followed was multiple arguments and misrepresentations from Karl and J. I'm sure they'll chime in here and try to defend themselves with their deceit and lies. I ultimately had to go around them and call their own insurance carrier to resolve this issue, after wasting so many hours arguing that the shop needed to simply fix their mistake the way Porsche recommends. It's easy to tint cars. It's what happens when you make a mistake that shows what kind of business you are. These people are miserable when they make a mistake.

Excellent service! I my home window tint and they came out to install with in a few weeks. It was fast and professional. I have not see them in person but will be there in a week and take some pic! These are the pic the installer took. I may use them for my other houses. I’ll have to see how they look and last.

High quality work! These guys came highly recommended and did not disappoint. I brought my brand new Lexus in for tint, film, and ceramic paint coating. Scheduling was easy, they took the time to listen to what I wanted and made recommendations. I ended up tinting my front windows, sun roof, and the windshield - so happy I did, makes a huge difference in heat and UV protection for the vehicle. The ceramic coating was worth it. It’s been almost 1.5 years and my paint looks brand new and is still super hydrophobic. I love it. I will be working with Accutint Bellevue again!

Karl took the time to explain the different tinting options and helped me chose what was best suited for my needs. The car look amazing and the interior is significantly cooler and more comfortable. If you are a true car enthusiast who is very meticulous and particular about your cars, then this shop is probably not for you. And if you can see more details than the detailers/tinters, then this shop is definitely not for you. Long story short, I brought my brand new, custom ordered, Audi S7 to Accutint Bellevue for a full frontal PPF and widow tint applications in December of 2020 – both done in 2 separate days. As for the PPF, I had to bring the car back a week or 2 later so Dave, the film technician, could remove a large water bubble that he missed during the installation. To be fair, overall, I think Dave did a satisfactory job. So far there are no lifted edges or other major flaws that I could see. I have not washed this particular car yet since taking delivery so my opinions might change after I properly decontaminate and clean the paint. Then there is window tinting, which the tinters Karl and Matt, scratched all of the exterior glass surfaces – all side windows and the rear glass. Some scratches are deeper than others, but it doesn’t matter. Scratches on the glass shouldn’t happen. When I brought my car back to the shop to show them the scratches, the tinter Karl denied all wrongdoing and said he had no idea what happened. I asked if he heat shrunk the films and he said yes, but only on 1 side of the car, which I do not believe at all and that still does not explain why there are scratches, fine and heavy, on all windows. After speaking to another tint shop in town and posting photos of the scratches on discussion forums, it is obvious and without a doubt, that the scratches on my glass were introduced during tinting, most likely by a dirty/worn hard card or squeezee during heat shrinking of the films. Of course, the owner of the shop, J., has been denying everything and has argued that the scratches can’t be from tinting. I thought it’s always about doing the right thing for the right reasons? J. suggested that the scratches may have come from a dirty wash mitt or dirt/debris on the door seal. It should not be forgotten that the car was brand new, less than a month old with perfect glass when it was brought in for tinting. The photos clearly show the scratches have approximately the same length, suggesting that a film was placed on the glass at the height of the scratches while heat shrinking was happening. Additionally, the scratches are at different directions/angles, meaning that they are absolutely NOT from the windows going up and down. If the scratches are from the seal, why would they stop at the same height at about 1”?? The scratches would be much much longer if they are coming from the weather seals. This is an insult to my intelligence by making up an excuse like that on a brand new car. It is extremely frustrating and saddening to have experienced this unfortunate event at Accutint Bellevue. There is no winner here in this situation, but I am the one who will be looking at the scratches every single day for as long as I own the car. Furthermore, as always, the owner would bring up his other positive reviews and his shop’s great reputation when a customer isn’t very satisfied or if a complaint arises. Just look at those reviews that mention about scratches either on paint or glass. Mentioning about other positive reviews simply will not change the fact that the tinter was using something that caused the scuffs on my glass, regardless of what the excuses are. I regret my decision to have my car tinted at this shop. J., you need to stop saying the scratches were from "dirt or debris accumulating on, or damage to, the window sweeps". If that's the case, I should be seeing more and more scratches forming, but I am not. Let me repeat, there are no new scratches on my windows since window tinting at your shop. Your theory is completely flawed and false. Additionally, Karl saw the scratches on the rear window when I brought back the car and he immediately dismissed it by saying "I don't know what happened."

I had bought a used Ferrari that had stealth wrap and a couple spots had bubbled up and i brought it back to Accutint and they fixed it and also said if the fix doesn’t hold, they will replace it for free. Solid, upstanding people I then made an appointment so they could put ppf on the front of my Tundra. Win win

So I worked with Ben and he was terrific. Such a nice guy. Ben helped me with my appointment, when I arrived he helped me choose the tint percentage that would work best for me, he completed the tinting job and brought me out to go over the finished product. Ben is a great guy to with with. Over the phone Ben quoted me an amount. When I went to checkout with someone other than Ben the amount was different than what Ben had told me. Ben immediately took responsibility and told the checkout guy that he misquoted the amount to me over the phone and that it should be the amount that he told me. That is honesty at the core, especially for a business! The area where I waited while my car was beimg tinted was extremely comfortable and there is free Wi-Fi. The overall experience at Accutint was above my expectations. I strongly recommend this company because of their honesty, their workmanship and their customer service. This is a top notch place. I promise you will not be disappointed if you select Accutint for any of your car needs!

While we take our cars for a very reasonably priced wash and clean to Accutint all the time, it was the first time we tried the extensive detail and ceramic coating process for my NA1 NSX. The service was great as always and the quality of the work is top notch. My car hasn’t had a detailed in a decade, the paint was faded and had swirls all over it. They did an amazing job and the entire process was super well done - and most importantly, very reasonably priced, especially compared to other places in the area. I would highly recommend.

I highly recommend Accutint Bellevue for anybody looking for a quality tint job. Karl and his team were professional and communicative through the process. There was a miscommunication with my initial tint and Karl made right by it. I will bring any future vehicles to them most definitely. Llumar Pinnacle is the product I went with out of the tint films they carried. 15% on the sides and 25% on the rear window. It came out perfect when everything was said and done. Their shop is clean, have a comfortable waiting area if you choose, and plenty of things to do around the shop while you wait. Again, I definitely recommend them for your tint needs.

I’m very happy with my experience at Accutint Bellevue and the end-result. I’ve used several of the best shops in Bellevue/Redmond/Lynnwood for window tint and paint protection film on my previous cars, but Accutint is my new favorite. Their prices are very reasonable and actually lower than I expected. The shop is also in a highly-convenient part of Bellevue, near the Porsche dealership and Whole Foods, not hidden away like most other car detailing shops. From the start, communication with Nariya was excellent- always friendly, quick to answer my questions, and flexible about changes and adding extra services. I did plenty of research and chose Formula One Stratos window film, and Accutint’s installation was flawless with clean coverage to the edges. It’s the best tint service I’ve had. For PPF, I went with the full front package and full rear bumper. Accutint uses XPEL Ultimate Plus (my top choice, and harder to install than other brands). The installation was a big surprise: - My side mirrors were fully wrapped, including the arms and bottom surfaces (if not for the cutout for the puddle light, it would not be detectable)- other shops only covered the painted front-facing area of my Tesla side mirror. There are multiple variants of side mirrors for the Taycan depending on options (half painted/plastic, half painted/high gloss, fully painted, W or W/O surround view cameras) and I appreciate that Accutint accounted for the unique options of my car for the perfect film coverage. - They also surprised me by including PPF coverage to the lower front and rear splitters, which are high-gloss black and easily scratched and chipped otherwise. Now I’m going to have to come back for the side skirt high-gloss surfaces to be filmed… :) - All film edges are perfectly wrapped, and seams are minimal and well-hidden where wrapping isn’t possible. - Unexpected film coverage (ex. under the aero flaps of the bumpers and fenders) where a squeegee tool seems impossible to reach, wow. - The overall install quality is better than what I got at a more expensive, highly-rated shop. While they don’t advertise this, Accutint provided a free loaner car. That made it easy to fit everything into my work schedule. I also liked that there was zero pressure to buy extra services. Other shops have tried to upsell me or questioned why I wanted to do my own ceramic coating (which I enjoy), but Accutint respected my preferences and never pushed anything. They will treat you like a discerning customer that will come to them for services they need. I’m willing to drive far for the best, and I’m so glad I found Accutint Bellevue after years of trying the others, and just in time for my dream car. This is now my go-to shop for tint and PPF. I will surely be back for windshield film coverage and other services. Highly recommended for anyone who cares about quality and to be treated as a valued customer.

I have had a few things done at Accutint. I had my Model X tinted and had PPF applied to my 911. The tint is holding up amazing and Carl was great in explaining the different levels of tint that I could consider. The team was great in accommodating the PPF application and even suggested a package that would cover my mirrors, door pockets, headlights, turn signals, and door edges in addition to what I initially requested (i.e., hood, fenders, front bumper). Best part was the suggested package was less expensive than what was previously requested. The work completed is super clean and although the front bumper was aftermarket and required a bulk custom cut vinyl, the lines are very straight and cover all the important parts. Carl was also super helpful with replacing my vinyl-covered lower lip with satin black PPF since it was so low on the car and had already had chips in the week-old vinyl. Communication with the shop was great and Nariya does a great job with addressing issues. I would absolutely use Accutint Bellevue again for home window tinting.
