I had a very disappointing experience with A2 Plus Detailing. I had them detail my 2023 GMC Sierra Denali which is a difficult vehicle to detail due to its notoriously soft clear coat on black paint. It takes patience and technique to achieve a quality result because any small scratch is visible on top of black paint. To avoid scratching, a pressure wash is needed to remove dirt and road grime before a careful contact wash, which should use the two bucket method with grit guards and go from top to bottom. Due to the truck's size, this process takes longer than for smaller vehicles, making it easy to scratch if rushed. Once scratched, the soft clear coat makes it hard to use traditional scratch removal methods without creating more scratches. Therefore, keeping the vehicle clean and scratch free with regular washes is crucial. I specifically told the owner of A2 Plus Detailing that I wanted the best quality, regardless of cost, and requested a brand new wash mitt and a touchless wash before a contact wash, which they agreed to. I was quoted $100 for the exterior wash, and I emphasized the black paint’s susceptibility to scratches at dropoff. When I picked up my vehicle, I noticed new scratches that weren’t there before. I understand it’s difficult to prove these claims, as photographing every inch of a dirty vehicle to determine scratch presence is impractical. So, we rely on reviewers' truthfulness to gauge a company's quality. I read nearly all 400 five-star reviews of this company, as well as reviews of 12 other local detailers, and chose A2 Plus based on their past work on similar vehicles. I assumed I had nothing to worry about since no one with a vehicle like mine had left a poor review. However, the photos I’ve attached show the scratches they added, especially on the driver’s side rear wheel arch. Ironically, a video sent to me during the detailing process shows them washing this area, and I noticed they washed from bottom to top, dragging dirt upwards which can scratch the clear coat. The employee had a wash mitt on each hand, indicating speed was prioritized over quality. Despite my request for them to use a new wash mitt, they ended up also using an old wash mitt on their second hand. I informed the owner of my disappointment, pointing out these issues. Beyond the scratches, other areas of the vehicle weren't clean—plastic dressing overran onto the paint, water spots were left on the windows, and the rocker panels were missed entirely. Tire shine was applied, but the vehicle wasn’t moved to apply it evenly to the entire tire. The attention to detail was severely lacking. As evident from this review, I struggle to find detailers who meet my expectations. I research extensively and set clear expectations to avoid disappointment. Despite my efforts, I was let down. I spent more time researching than A2 Plus spent detailing. This company has experience with the same paint type and has all five-star reviews. They were notified in advance about my high expectations. Why did they return my vehicle in this condition? Isn't it their job to verify the quality before returning a vehicle to a customer? I still paid the $100 quoted, despite noticing these issues as I didn't want to penalize the downstream employees who may be affected. This isn’t a one-star review out of spite; it's a fair assessment of the service I received. If a professional detailer returns a vehicle with new scratches, I believe it's impossible to rate them above one star, regardless of other aspects of the service. Update 1 month later: After discussing the issue with the owner, they insisted I take a refund, which I used towards having the vehicle detailed elsewhere and fixing the scratches caused by them. Throughout our interactions, I remained polite and friendly, even while dissatisfied, but the same courtesy wasn’t extended to me. The owner sent frantic messages suggesting my complaints were unreasonable, despite me providing detailed photos. When I collected my refund, an employee insulted me, implying I complained to avoid paying.

Mo and his team (including David) are FANTASTIC at their jobs! I took my (new to me) 10 year old car there, and was given a ride home. The car had several scratches and paint imperfections, and surface swirls and scratches all over. The interior had several stubborn stains and dirty areas I couldn't get clean too. Mo and David took great care of me and made my car look almost like new! They went above and beyond to make me happy with the service. My car was dropped off to me at my home after they were finished. I have already referred my friends and family to A2 Plus for service. They have earned a customer for life!

Moe did an amazing job and I highly recommend him! We had a bit of a hiccup with communication at first, but Moe went above and beyond to fix things and help me out. I wish I would have taken before pictures because I live on a dirt road and I have a husky, so my Jeep was filled with dirt/dust and fur! It looks like new again 🤩 Moe even went the extra step and put black shine on my tires (I only did interior detailing) and he gave me air fresheners and a microfiber towel to help keep dust away. I won’t take my Jeep anywhere else!

I loved the work done by Moe and his team. Amazing hospitality by Moe. I lived 20 minutes away from the place and he picked and dropped me off and did not a single penny for it! The car looks amazing both on the inside and outside. The seats, dashboards, all the leather, basically everything looks as good as new. My wheels look new as well! I don’t what they did but it just looks awesome! He also gave me micro fibre clothes and perfumes for the car. I suggest everyone to give Moe and his team a try. I am sure they will not disappoint!

My Cadillac SRX was in need of some TLC due to receiving scratches above the wheel hubs. After reading all the positive reviews and seeing the results of their work, I reached out to A2 Plus to have my vehicle serviced. I was immediately impressed with Mo's attentiveness to my concern regarding the issues of my paint and his assurance that my scratches were "very fixable". Mo's customer service is impeccable and I would also say rare in an increasingly disengaged service industry. When I dropped off my SRX, I observed good rapport with him and his team. I also noticed their services are in high demand, as a stream of customers appeared seeking out his expertise. In addition, Mo personaly provided free transportation as a courtesy, during which time I discovered his passion for his business and his dedication to maintain highly satisfied customers. This was the first time I ever had my vehicle buffed. When I received it back, the difference was remarkable. The the entire car had a mirror like gloss, my scratches dissapeared and no swirls were detected. I would highly recommend A2 Plus for their professionalism. They have great prices. They understand that your personal transportation is an investment and they will provide the services that you need to continue enjoying your investment with a brand new appearance. P.S. Mo and his team did a phenomenal job detailing my car today. My car is fairly new and didn’t need much work but with the interior being Ash Gray, it caused the slightly stain to show quite easily. Brought my Model Y here and had a great service. The people here are very friendly and professional. The detail itself was very well done. Had the interior and exterior done. The car is looking great both inside and out and smells amazing inside. There were a few things that seemed to be missed like the trunk and the area just between the car and side mirrors. Also, I did find a few "water droplet" like marks on the seats, but I could easily wipe those off. I will definitely come to get my car detailed here again.

Moe and his employees are absolutely amazing. I was scared i would miss my appointment because of my job and he came through picking up my car and dropping it off later on at home. He is super friendly, excellent communication. I would definitely be coming back to him, and already making arrangements to come back and get my windshield tinted. Mo and his team did an incredible job on my 12+ yo car, both in the interior and exterior! Mo is super responsive and was able to even book me in same day, which was much appreciate. The attention to detail superb and they really went the whole 9 yards. He was also super reasonable and transparent about pricing. This is the only place I’m going to for interior and exterior car work when I’m in the Ann Arbor area! The interior pictures are taken a few days after the cleaning job - my car is completely different, this is and old car with no previous detail job.

5 Stars – Exceptional Service & Results! I hadn’t had my car professionally detailed in over two years—just quick washes and occasional wipe-downs—but it was long overdue for a proper deep clean. I took my vehicle to A2 Plus’s Complete Detailing, and in just four hours, they completely transformed it. I genuinely wish I had taken before photos because the difference is night and day. The after results speak for themselves. Moe, who owns the shop, was incredibly professional from start to finish. He called the day before to confirm my appointment, guided me to the location the morning of, and even sent me photos once the job was complete. He also took the time to point out a few dents and scratches I had been meaning to address and offered to help remove the scratches for just $100. Best Deal in A2 for amazing service! These guys are really passionate, they are clear cut about the pricing and the high quality products they use. They got my 25 duramax looking brand new and the ceramic coating is an absolute must. Mo is even working his butt off with a broken leg to keep the line moving because of how busy they are. I bought a car at an auction, and it needed some exterior touch-ups and a thorough deep cleaning. I contacted Moe at A2 Plus Detailing, and he provided top-tier service from the first call through to me picking up my car. Moe kept me updated throughout the time my car was in his care. He never added a service without consulting me at every step. The team at A2 Plus took my car in on the day I requested and went above and beyond my expectations. Above cleaning the interior to perfection, A2 repaired and painted over some pretty bad rust areas. My car was buffed and waxed from the front to the back and from top to bottom. The interior smells amazing as well. Moe even worked the cost down since some of the damage was irreparable. Moe and his team did their best, and my car looked brand-new when the work was finished. I completely fell in love with my car when I drove off. It felt completely restored. I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone who needs a basic cleaning to a miracle, or takes pride in their ride.
