When I first arrived, they were out of towels for wiping down cars and windows, and there were no spray bottles available. Moreover, the trash can next to me was overflowing with water and trash, which created a horrible smell when I sought assistance. Unfortunately, no one was able to provide me with useful information. When I called customer service to request a refund, I was informed that they could not grant it due to the circumstances. I reported my experience on the same day, but I still did not receive any assistance. I don’t think I will ever return to this particular location. The service was terrible, and the facility needs significant improvements. While they may be under construction, I would not recommend this location.

I'm leaving the place a car in front broke down and I couldn't move forward we were about to crash into it because the machine was not stopped at any time the staff is not on the lookout in addition we had more cars behind that almost hit us my husband was driving and knew how to react in time so as not to cause an accident but the staff never turned off the machine or assisted to help solve the problem luckily the gentleman in front was almost outside he pushed his car and we were able to leave but it was a very stressful moment and my children were scared, the place I'm really not sorry for sure nor does it has trained staff

BEWARE!!! Terrible car wash!! Employees don’t give a damn. My car was stuck inside the tunnel for over 15 minutes before they found me. Faulty equipment! No manager around No compensation No apologies. I have cancelled my membership!! I will be posting my money elsewhere!!!

Let me start off by saying I really wish I could give the zips carwash located at albemarle road a zero rating ,but the lowest that I can give is a 1 star. For starters I’ve been coming to this location along with all the zips locations throughout charlotte since the beginning since they opened up in charlotte. Prior to the company name change to zips the company use to go by the name of wiki prior to being bought out by zips carwash and that’s when the poor horrible experience began.The only thing that is guaranteed to work at this location is the credit card machine which takes your payment for services. For starters the majority of the vacuums remain broken for over 9 months while the vacuums that aren’t broken hardly have any suction. I personally have brought this to the manager's attention several times and have been advised that corporate zips is cheap and is only interested in getting the money but not interested in spending the money in fixing any of the broken equipment. I have included pictures to reiterate how many vacuums remain broken daily. Secondly only 1 of the 3 gates work as you can see from the pictures. Third zips increased the prices of the carwash a few months ago while the quality of the wash deteriorated. Fourth the interior drying soft brush buffer has been broken since last year however the unlimited monthly membership that I pay for is suppose to include this service. Fifth the albemarle road location only carwash hardly fully properly washes the car. I literally have the top of the line monthly wash package on all 4 of my vehicles and once my car comes out the machine I still have large dirt spots that don’t seem to have been touched by the vehicle. My Six issue is the covered interior vacuums which are located in the garage location have been broken all year as well. Please keep in mind that I own 4 different vehicles and pay for the top of the line unlimited carwash packages so this really adds up monthly when you’re not getting what you paid for. Again these negative truthfully issues are only specific to the albemarle road location . All other locations throughout charlotte including n. Tryon, Indepence, Wilkerson Blvd, and the 51 pineville location are ran totally different and entirely more professional than the albemarle location . So please don’t waste your money at this outdated unprofessional business and please don’t waste money on buying the monthly membership or you will be highly disappointed. In my opinion if you want a carwash that always works, vacuums that’s 100% percent of the time operate correctly, employees that take pride in working and ensuring that you have a great experience drive up to lawyers road and go to the sams carwash. I can assure you once you visit sams carwash you will buy a membership because you will be truly satisfied. Also I have called zips corporate personally and only get a voicemail and even after 6 months have yet to get a call back . Also something to think about none of the zips locations have working business telephones so if you forget something or have billing issues you have to physically visit the store. This is the opposite of sams carwash when you call their establishment you get a live human who actually answers the telephone . Zips corporate when you read this review please understand that we minorities and all different ethnicities in this community spend money at this business and we should be treated equally as the other locations throughout charlotte when it comes to getting the services what we pay for. I really feel that the reason that this horrible service and such poor conditions have went on for so long at the albemarle road location is because the albemarle road zips carwash is located on the minority side of town of charlotte. Zips please prove me wrong by fixing all vacuums, fixing all broken payment gates, fixing the drying buffing , fixing the horrible carwash machines which leave so much dirt that you have to physically wipe the car. I will update this review in the 90 days to confirm if anything has improved .

Paid $18, the car wash and free vacuum were a waste of time and money. The vacuums barely had any power to them. Literally left less 10 minutes ago, it didnt even get the bird poop off. Tires only got a cleaning on the right side of the car and less clean on left side. Left the car wash with so much dirt on the car I might as well not had went to the car wash.

Not only did he do a great job, but he also had a super positive attitude, treated me with respect, and even made me smile. We run a local veterans group here in Charlotte and I happen to just stop by this location for a quick wash for my company van and I was met by a young man Tyler who is the manager of the location and he was explaining to me how the wash was currently down due to the ice storm we had but he noticed the decals on the van and we got to talking about the military and his service and he told me about the tragic incident that caused him to lose his sister while she was serving in the Army. It’s just nice to meet people who actually care about their customers and community and who don’t just push you in and out for a quick dollar. It was a cool day and Tyler was there just cleaning up the parking lot and he made the time to talk to each customer and was handing out air fresheners to customers. Tyler if you see this I just wanted to say thank you for your help today and you have earned your company my business. Thank you
