The owners of this company are scam artists. They were supposedly running a special where I was supposed to be charged $12.50 for the first month and then a penny for the next 2 months for unlimited car washes. However, I was charged $25 for the first 2 months on my card. When I called the company to dispute it they only gave me back $12.50 for each month. This also happened to my friend. The owner called and said that was a mistake from corporate. However he couldn't do anything about it. For this to happen to two people I know means it is happening to a lot more people. This is a big scam. The workers at the car wash are nice, but the corporation is fraudulent. I spent a lot of time on the phone trying to resolve this, only to have it partially resolved. They could care less that this scam was occurring.

First the card readers don’t work so someone came out and scanned my credit card. Went in and had little to no pre rinse. The side brushes almost weren’t even touching my car. Almost no water pressure when my car was being rinsed and left soap all over my car. Went to vacuum and half of them had so little pressure they didn’t work. Went to use the compressed air to blow out the cracks on my floor mats and not a single one worked.

Overall, the car wash was good. The lady that works in the car wash that has the water hose in her hand. She literally does nothing with that water hose but sprays the side of your door and then waves you on by. I feel like my truck would’ve been cleaner if she would’ve sprayed the tailgate a little better today’s date is June 12 10:30 AM. The girl that works out front by the gate was extremely nice and helpful.

I've tried several times to get my car wash here paying $25 for the highest wash and it has always till left bugs and dirt on my car. It's a convenient location but not worth it anymore. After the carwash I have to use a rag to clean the rest of my car.

Car is clean but...seems like some maintenance is necessary. Sep 19th 2023 - the pre wash pressure spray was broken, I had to move my car 3 times in order to get to a vacuum that worked and the floor mat cleaner was not working and based on the note that was there it seems like it hasn't been working for awhile. I'll take my car though the wash but if I wanted to do some extra work I'll go somewhere else.

I’ve had some frustrating experiences with Zips Car Wash in the past (at other locations and online), but today was a completely different story. I had a very kind and helpful employee assist me — she was working around 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, 5/6, helping customers as they pulled in to pay. She made the experience smooth and pleasant, and I really appreciated her attitude and professionalism. 10/10 experience — I hope her manager sees this review!

This car wash has came a long way in 2 months the new management in place are absolutely wonderful and very helpful the assistant manager is very helpful , the membership manager Jasmine If I recall correctly , helped me understand the different levels in the wash. I originally came here for a quick basic wash and came out with a phenomenal premier wash and their Vacuums are sucking better than ever. Only thing I wish was different was the Air nozzles I wish they worked but I didn’t need them after I vacuumed . Great job Zips you guys definitely came a long way and for the better . BEST SITE IN LYNCHBURG

Blocked the card pay readers so you can't pay without hearing their cheap sales pitch. Upsold me and told me they were "out of soap for the basic wash" and therefore charged me for the $18 minimum (really?). Then nobody was staffing the spray portion and I had to wait for almost 5 minutes for someone to show up. No apology or anything from the workers. There are much better washes in town and they will start losing business with service like this. You'd be better off going to any other one in town. I will never be back and will be sure to tell as many people I can not to go here as well. Absolutely horrible.

This place has to have the most incompetent, inconsiderate, rudest workers I've dealt with. I pulled up, girl acted like I was getting on her nerves just being there, barely spoke to me, I still said thank you, not a word, pull up into the entrance, no one to guide me in, then I just sat there. Cars waiting behind me. I was about ready to jump out and hit the start button myself. Finally, same girl comes out with the meanest look on her face, barely sprays one side of my truck, and sends me through. 24 bucks for that? Yeah, you won't get my money again.

This place is a joke. Card readers don’t work so you have to talk to someone and get a sales pitch. One time the reader finally worked and I paid and some dude ran out disappointed he couldn’t do his dumb sales pitch and said “if you a $100 charge on your card that’s why we don’t use the card readers” he proceeds to go back to the office area with the door open and hear him and a female employee laughing at what he told me and she was shocked he said that but thought it was hilarious. Not to mention the wash is terrible Dosent clean nothing. Whistle is much better

I pay for a membership but they always have the “member lane” coned off so you’ve got to wait in line as the employee sits there signing up every single car for a new membership. I waited in line for almost 25 minutes the other day because of it and you’re unable to back out or exit the line.

I've been with zips for some time now and I've never had to argue with staff but this girl (Jessica) denied us our wash and shut the gate on us around 6:35 pm saying there closed. I know that's a lie because the guy at the pay area looked up our sticker and let us in but she denied us access to the tunnel.😢 We just wanted a clean car before we went on vacation and I had to go buy a car wash at another location. We decided to cancel our fleet

We had a membership at Zips for a while and we found that most of the locations weren’t consistent with the pre-wash and the vacuums were always broken. The towels were always wet as well. We switched to another car wash that we are happy with, but today I was nearby on Forest Rd and stopped in Zips to buy one wash. Just wanted a basic wash ($10) and as I was paying the girl ran out and told me wait, there’s someone coming to help (I was thinking maybe bringing a coupon or something). He came out and told me that they were not offering anymore basic washes for today, the only two options were $25 and up per wash. I told him no thanks I’m not looking to spend that much on one wash, he said: “Ok, you can back out of the line, I can’t open the gate for you to pull through”. So I smiled, then backed out (had to wait on the person behind me to do the same so that I could get out). THIS IS THE WORST CAR WASH COMPANY IN AMERICA!!! AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!!!!! I’ll never be back.

Absolutely the worst car wash location in town. Typically have to wait a while on the staff to guide you into the wash. The staff look like they hate working there and put in as little effort as possible. Rarely do they prewash my car. Majority of the time brushes or water jets are not functioning properly. I’ve seen occasions where half the vacuums weren’t working. The last time I washed my car there it was still covered with salt from the roads and looked like nothing had been done. I took it to the Zips on Wards Rd, and it actually looked like it had been washed.

I have typically had a good experience with this carwash until today. There is an issue with their payment screens that does not allow self-service, so an attendant has to do everything for you. The attendant I had was on a call using speaker phone. He was talking to a friend while trying to ask me which wash I wanted. He was trying to talk to both of us at the same time and it was not working. I finally asked him to please focus for a minute so I could move on and get the wash done. He became visibly angry with me, wandered off for about a minute to end his call before coming back to deal with me. Once he returned, he was aggressive in asking me questions and thumping on the touch screen. Once that unpleasant experience was over, I finally got to pull forward to begin the wash. There was no one there to usher me into the washing facility as there typically is. I sat parked at the entrance to the facility for about three minutes before finally honking my horn. After I honked a man emerged and ushered me in. When I got to the end of the wash the sign with the red and green lights that let’s you know to pull out was not working. No green light ever came on so I just pulled out and left. Not sure if they had a manager on duty today but if they did, they may want to make sure the manager knows how to manage people and how to report broken equipment. Lots of carwash options in Forest now. I will be going elsewhere from now on.

Would not recommend going to this location. We had a membership when it first opened. However, we noticed after a while, half of the vacuums do not work and the ones that do work have really poor suction. We canceled our membership and I went again recently just to pay for a single car wash. They have listed that they offer a $12 “basic” car wash with the next being a “basic plus” at $18. However, at this location, they say that they are not able to do the $12 car wash (?) although it is listed on their website and at the actual location. I paid $18 for a “basic plus” car wash and only one of the two vacuums at the place I parked barely worked— very poor section. The other vacuum head was completely disconnected from the hose and did not work at all. Their card readers also do not work, although this is a fairly new car wash. Do you not go to this car wash. It has not been well maintained, and it is false advertising to say you have a $12 car wash, but then tell customers you don’t offer at the location.

Terrible wash, brush didn't touch the back, wheels still dirty. Personal only offered to have me re-wash at MY expense! Stay away!
