Great service except for the long wait, so be prepared. All in all, Will Song's friendly face, exuberant attitude made the wait worth it! The manager, sales, and service staff were courteous and polite. An upgrade to the coffee bar is needed as well as a snack machine especially for those who prefer to wait for services rendered, whatever that may be. This was my first experience with Windward Ford. I like them and wish them success, till next time. Aloha

We had the pleasure of working with Rafa and John. They were both so professional, friendly, and accommodating. We did a trade-in and they offered to swap cars by delivery to our house instead of us having to go back all the way to the shop, which was really great since we live out on the Westside. My experience with Windward Ford was fantastic and working with Mel Mulligan and Mark Sherlock was so easy and painless. I typically hate shopping for cars, but when I got to the dealership, the cars I was interested were ready for me to look at and all the features that were important to me were explained and demonstrated to make my decision easier. Although I came in wanted a lower model of the car I purchased, Mel made a great case for why the higher end model would be better for me and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I am in sales and the laid back, non pressure approach really made this an easy sale. They worked with me, and Mel even hand delivered the car to me at my convenience the next day since it would take a little while to clean and I was at the dealership late at night with my children. 10/10 would recommend buying a car here to anyone!

Very grateful to get an appointment within a couple days of calling. Marina is friendly, helpful, explained all my options, and communicated with me about what was going on. I was given options on maintenance, but never felt pressured or manipulated. My vehicle was ready in an appropriate amount of time. Im so glad I switched to a Ford and can go to Windward Ford for maintenance.

Sadly, after giving Windward Ford a glowing 5-Star review back in May of 2023, at which time we purchased 3-vehicles, two of which were new, I’m left with no choice other than to leave this very poor 1-Star review, really, 0-Star review, which I truly didn’t want to do but had to do by virtue of it being well-nigh 2-months since I brought our Ford Explorer in to the service department for recalls and repairs for which I’ve already paid Windward Ford $7,000.00 without which I cannot renew my “Safety Check”. When I went in to get the Explorer from Windward Ford, the dashboard was still lit up like a Christmas tree and just when one would think it couldn’t get any worse, new warning lights began to appear. After repeated emails and or calls to Windward Ford, chief of which was a detailed email to the General Manager and additionally going into the dealership and speaking with the Service Manager, who stated that he would, quote, “email me on Monday” only to now have it be Thursday, and I still have yet to receive just 1-email reply from anyone at Windward Ford to at the very least acknowledge said email(s) if for no other reason than to show some common courtesy to a good customer in good standing. To add insult to injury, instead of receiving at least 1-email reply I continue to receive a relentless onslaught of emails and text messages requesting a review, which was the impetus for this extremely poor and unsatisfactory review, as my numerous requests for results have been met with their numerous requests for reviews. This while my wife of 37-years was dying of cancer in a hospice bed, only to then subsequently die on December 29th. It’s for this reason that I’ve dubbed it the “Ford Fiasco”, becoming the proverbial “final straw”, as this ongoing battle with Windward Ford could have absolutely not come at a worse time while simultaneously caring for my wife then grieving the death of the love my life in concert with planning her Celebration of Life and also being there as a father for our 3-children who are in deep pain and sorrow after their mom’s death. Furthermore, I was informed by Windward Ford that they were waiting for an ordered part that was, and I quote, “on national backorder, being built by a Ford vendor with no estimated time of arrival”. In other words, the aforementioned Safety Check will expire prior to the part arriving with no approximate time-frame making it likely that it could be a minimum of 2-6 months, which is demonstrably unacceptable and rightly reprehensible. After making my appeal for help and my making my plea for compassion given my situation, it’s “Crickets”, nothing, which again has forced my hand to leave this, my very first, and I hope my very last, poor review going against everything within me that has here-to-fore prompted me, of my own volition, to leave only good reviews and or no reviews when the customer satisfaction was in fact little to no satisfaction. Thus, I’ve only left 5-Star reviews when warranted of which there have been many over the years!!! I’m sincerely sorry to say that I feel sorry for anyone doing business with Windward Ford!!! As for me, I never will again, as it’s incumbent upon me to warn others with the hope that it would be reciprocated by others who would warn me. Specifically, to never ever do business with Windward Ford!!! I will continue this right fight despite my grieving and mourning under the banner of it being the right thing to do though being the hard thing to do!!!

I had the pleasure of booking an appointment with Windward Ford of Hawaii. Everyone treated me like I was a special customer, and all of the Staff was very helpful & helped with everything from the appointment, to servicing of my Ford Fusion. A light went on saying "change oil" and the car needed a new battery. Everything was done and now the Fusion runs like a Champ! Windward Ford's staff is very professional, and puts you at ease. Had a great experience shopping at Windward Ford. Inquired through the website and the outreach was immediate. They were quick to respond to any questions I had and were quick to schedule a test drive with me. They were upfront that the model I wanted wasn’t immediately available and would require me to order it. My salesman, Akira Wood made the process easy and wasn’t pushy. He was kind and made me excited to purchase. Only thing I wish would have happened was the proposal of accessories the day I bought my truck. I had to wait for the truck to come in and then order liner and mats etc. Was hoping to drive away with them already installed when my truck arrived. Otherwise my experience was A+. Would recommend this dealer to my friends and family.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. Akira is not your typical salesman. He isn’t pushy- let us take the lead asking lots of questions to make sure we got not only the car we wanted, but a great deal to boot! The finance team (usually the scary guys) and Ken- was also super friendly, helpful and very informative. I traveled around the island and went to many dealerships looking for the vehicle our family wanted. This is the only place that didn’t try to rush me treated me and my family with respect and I feel went above and beyond. Don’t sleep on this dealership, they’re quite amazing.

I recently purchased a 2025 Ford Escape Plug-In Hybrid from Windward Ford of Hawaii, and the entire experience was outstanding thanks to my sales representative, Akira W. I first stopped by on a Sunday just to see what was available, no appointments, no big expectations. From the start, Akira was respectful, honest, and easy to talk to. There was no pressure, no pushy sales tactics, and no scripted pitch. He simply asked me what I was looking for, my price range, and what I hoped to get for my trade-in. Even though I already had a preexisting auto loan, Akira walked me through every option. When my loan wasn’t approved by Navy Federal Credit Union, he didn’t give up or try to upsell me on something I didn’t want. Instead, he helped work with Ford Motor Credit and made sure I still got the vehicle I wanted at a payment that fit my budget. From start to finish, Akira made the process smooth, transparent, and stress-free. If you’re in the market for a car and want someone who listens rather than pressures you, I highly recommend asking for him at Windward Ford.
