I want to start by saying the folks who work here are extremely kind and diligent. That feels important to acknowledge. After my detailing, my old van struggled to start up and the folks working there put a lot into trying to figure out what was happening. I am grateful for that. At the same time, we gotta talk about the actual detailing work.... for $600, I expect every single surface in my car to be clean enough to eat off of. The carpet in my van was cleaned very artfully (thank you!); however, the basics like my dashboard, cup holders, and wheel area were left pretty dirty. And I assumed they would clean off the sticker residue on my windows, but that did not happen. Which again, for the price, is extremely disappointing. Overall, it was an okay experience - I will not be back

I’ve cleaned, detailed, and maintained two cars with Kevin and his family-run business. Their team does meticulously work on maintenance washes, do best-in-class tinting and PPF, and have been experienced in touch up work and various detailing projects. I was looking for a spot to get the interior piano black trim covered with xpel as well as tints for my driver and passenger side. The interior trim was getting scratched easily so having the protection removed that worry. They did an amazing job I’m very happy with it. I arranged for them to pick up and drop off the vehicle from Staten Island which saved me time commuting and waiting for the car. 10/10 would recommend this car wash.

I first met Kevin back in 2016. He took care of my Mazdaspeed 3 for a couple of years, and later, my Fiesta ST. Each time, Kevin and his team transformed my well-used cars into something that looked and felt brand new. I typically go for the full detail—though even the mini detail package is impressive. Today, I brought my M4 out of the garage for the summer and, without hesitation, took it straight to Kevin. He offered lower-priced options, but I’ve learned it’s always money well spent for the full treatment. Once again, the results were incredible—my 10-year-old M4 looks brand new. How do they even do that? I’m genuinely amazed every time. When you step into his shop, you’re greeted by some of the nicest car brands around, and it’s clear you’re in the right place. I love dropping by for the $100 tune-up washes after the main detail—it feels essential. Anything less would be doing my M4 a disservice.

I cannot say enough about how relieved I am to have found Williamsburg Hand Wash & Auto Detailing and how grateful I am to Kevin and his team for saving our car. We returned from a trip to find the interior COVERED in mold. It was horrible. The dealer said it would cost over $10k to fix. Kevin found and fixed the source of the water incursion and completely remediated the mold for a fraction of the cost. Our car is now as clean as it was when we bought it. From start to finish, my whole experience with WHW was phenomenal. Kevin explained in detail everything he would need to do to remediate the mold and even advised against a few things I asked about beyond the remediation that would have increased the cost of the work / his take home but which he thought wouldn't ultimately be worth the expense or increase the value of the car enough to be worth it. His honesty and integrity are reason alone to go to WHW--you will be so grateful you did. THANK YOU KEVIN!!!!!

I first visited Kevin’s shop, Williamsburg Hand Wash & Auto Detailing, about 10 years ago, and their work quality has always been excellent. Recently, I bought a new car with dealer-installed PPF on the front high-impact areas, but later realized I needed full-body PPF for better protection. Kevin took the time to explain everything clearly—how the film would be applied and how to maintain the shine. He’s very professional and knowledgeable, which gave me full confidence. I brought my car in the following week, and they completed the full PPF installation in about two weeks. The result was perfect—Kevin even applied PPF on areas I didn’t expect, showing real attention to detail. My car looks amazing, and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend Kevin and his team—definitely a 5/5 experience!

I recently brought my Ford F-150 to Williamsburg Hand Wash and Auto Detailing in NYC for a full transformation, and I’m blown away by the results! They did a complete full-body wrap with XPEL Paint Protection Film (PPF), followed by a premium ceramic coating for that ultimate shine and protection. To top it off, they installed XPEL tints on the windows for privacy and heat rejection, plus XPEL Windshield Protection Film to guard against chips and cracks on those rough city roads. The team was professional, detail-oriented, and explained every step—from the seamless PPF application that protects against scratches and rock chips, to the ceramic coating that makes washing a breeze with its hydrophobic properties. My truck looks brand new, and I feel confident it’ll stay that way for years. If you’re in Williamsburg or NYC and need top-tier auto detailing, PPF installation, ceramic coating, window tinting, or windshield protection, this is the spot. Highly recommend—5 stars all the way!

Came here yesterday to this spot for the first time. I’ve been to the old spot like 14 yrs ago. Jacob was very welcoming. Waiting area is pretty spacious with good amount of seats. I took my 2020 kia soul for outside wash 🧽 and inside cleaning. Though it is pricey but you pay what you get . Car came out phenomenal. I will be coming again. Thank you.

I’m a newer car owner, and this was my first time getting a detail — Williamsburg Hand Wash & Auto Detailing has officially set the bar sky-high! I called for a same-day appointment, and Kevin was incredibly kind and thorough in explaining all my options. When I arrived, I decided to upgrade from a basic wash to a full detail, and the team went above and beyond, even staying late so I wouldn’t have to come back another day. That alone earned my loyalty for life! When I picked up my car, I was STUNNED — it looked better than when I bought it. Kevin patiently answered all my (many!) questions (most of which were unrelated to the detail service, and more about general car maintenance), walked me through everything they did, and shared great advice on how to keep it looking new. As a woman new to car ownership, I really appreciated how honest, helpful, and welcoming everyone was. No upselling, no jargon. Just genuine service and amazing results. These guys are awesome!! They are so professional, thorough, and kind. The service is really excellent. When I drop my car off they are thoughtful about giving me a package that will fit my* needs the best. Like I’m busy and can’t wash my car so often. But she’s vintage and I want to protect the paint! So they helped me make a custom package that works for me and my lifestyle. BONUS! They were able to open my trunk that had been jammed for a long time. AND they recommended me a good traffic lawyer when I got a ticket right after leaving my car wash 🤣 so ya super grateful I found this place! Was interested in getting my new car tinted and wrapped with PPF (paint protection film). After doing some research, I found the brand of Xpel to be one of the best brands to choose from. They provide both tint film and paint protection film. I then went to their website and looked for authorized dealers who use their products, that’s when I found out Williamsburg Hand Wash and Auto Detailing was a authorized dealer and I already had history with them so it was a no brainer to bring my car there. Kevin went over everything with me, he explained and showed me examples, then gave me his honest feedback and advice on what I should get. I opted to get the full front (front bumper, front fenders, mirrors, full hood), doors, rear bumper, headlights wrapped in PPF. I also got my windows tinted with Xpel XR plus film. 20% on the front windshield and 5% all other windows, best combination for privacy and safety of seeing while driving night or day time. Kevin went over everything when I went to pick up my car after completion. I would definitely recommend Kevin and the shop. Great service, Great communication, Great work
