Most trust worthy place to get your Maryland vehicle inspection done. I bought a used vehicle from out of state from a used car dealer. I had to take an appointment couple of days ahead, over phone, and when I reached their for appointment my vehicle was promptly pulled in for inspection. AL did the inspection and called me in to the garage and showed the vehicle had a new transmission installed by used car dealer (you know what they say about used car dealer - I had concerns about CVT and asked them if anything was done to transmission as carfax showed car transmission was checked for last service and within a day traded in which was auctioned out couple of days later. Dealer said there was nothing done on transmission. Well I got a new transmission at least but probably I overpaid). AL noted the half-shaft was not properly installed and it was leaking oil. I asked him if he could fix it for which he said he couldn't but told me it should cost around $250 to fix (which is about what I ended up paying at a different shop). AL noted vehicle needed a front fog bulb and charged me $3 with no installation cost. MD inspection fee was $65 and he didn't charge me anything more. The most genuinely honest shop I have ever dealt with. Can't commend enough.

Quick and easy car inspection. Only one problem. I did not have any problems with my brakes until after inspection. Now, I need to replace rotor and brakes on passenger side. Just wish they would take a little more care when it comes to removing tires and checking brakes.

I drive a twenty seven year old car that many might consider a junker but I don't and the guys at Sunoco never treat it as such. Whenever problems arise they give me an estimate before starting repairs and communicate the issue respectfully without condescension. The repairs are completed promptly and successfully! I've had my car here a few times. They are always quick in there diagnosis and usually do the same day fix. I drop my car off first thing in the morning and done by closing time. The prices are always doable and reasonable. It's so hard to find a place that doesn't wanna tax the hell out of you! I'll keep using them and recommend them 100%

West End Sunoco is the worst place to go for a vehicle inspection. It took the owner over an hour to do my inspection and he failed it because I had a tag light out and a rust hole in my heat shield on my exhaust. It's a money scam. He looks for things he can try to fail it for and tries to get you to pay him to fix it so it will pass. Don't waste your time with this place. It's a scam

The nicest people, very knowledgeable, and reasonable prices. I moved on the other side of town about 8 years ago, I used a dealership close to my house so I haven't been back to the West End Sunoco since recently that my break and transmission fluid needed replaced as well all the air and cabin filters. The dealership was charging me an outrageous price, so I knew to come back "home" to Sunoco and of course they did an excellent job getting them all done and saved me money. They are particular with what they use, the mechanic went all the way to the dealership to get the specific type of transmission fluid for my car. Excellent service,reliable, and honest. I will also never forget how they came to my rescue and towed my car at no charge to their shop from the car wash across Dino's pizza. I was there washing my car and my Jeep would not start. I called them and immediately they came and towed my Jeep to their shop. If I remember right, they replaced my starter that time.
