Dropped off 2 hard copy Rxs 3 days ago that I brought from home in GA & was told the meds were in stock but they'd have to verify the script w/my Dr. 2 days later & they now say the one rx has to be ordered, another 3 days. And that they have no ins, personal info on file, ALL which I gave them 3 days ago! Very poorly run system, the last time I'll use Walgreens in Ptld. We've never had this problem w/the GA or WA stores.

I came here twice in one day because I was having some trouble adding cash to my cashapp account. Manager was extremely rude and implied that I might be doing something illegal. Two other cashiers apologized to me saying she is “just not good with customers”.

Just before 6pm on 9/2 (forgot to ask for her name) an employee went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. I appreciated it! Great team in there that night.

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to my entire life. Not only did they miscount the medication and short me 2 days supply but I had to wait in the drive thru line for over ten min. When I called about the shortage of my medication I got so much attitude from the person who answered the phone. I would never recommend this place to anybody because you will be short on your meds and you can't get them until they say so apparently pharmacist are now doctors and won't do the only job they have and fill your medication the day you are out. Insurance means nothing to this pharmacy regardless of if it's cleared or not they refuse to give it to you. Sorry for the people who are "Patients" of theirs because you know the struggle is beyond absurd!! Worst Pharamacy Ever!!👎👎🤢🤬

The pharmacy is a joke. They are rude! I got hung up on many times when I called with a concern. They dont run the insurance like they are supposed to and try to charge us more money than necessary. They call to tell me it's ready and I go to pick it up, only to be told (VERY rudely) its not there and it's not their problem. Ever since the new pharmacy team took over, They have gone down hill with both customer service and efficiency of the pharmacy and how it is run. Look for another pharmacy. We are in the process of doing so. I will be so happy to take my families prescriptions elsewhere.

Due to showing majority of the symptoms for COVID-19, I decided to schedule a COVID, test through Walgreens at the Forest Ave location in Portland, ME for 3:45 pm on Wednesday, April 12th. Due to the fact that I did not have a car available, I skateboarded over a mile (each direction) while feeling sick to take this test. Upon arrival, I did NOT go inside and instead went to the drive thru, as per directions in the confirmation email. The worker at the window was visually confused as I was not in a vehicle at the drive thru window, so he brought over the pharmacy tech who was reluctant to even speak with me. She proceeded to tell me they could not administer the SELF-ADMINISTERED covid test because I was not in a vehicle, even though I was wearing a mask. The pharmacy tech recommended calling an Uber and having them take me through the drive thru. Instead of handling the situation in the safest manner possible and having the business that administers COVID testing do said testing, the recommendation was to put someone else (and another business) at risk. This is by far the least professional experience I've ever had with a pharmacist. I decided to not waste anyone else behind me in line's time and go speak to a "manager". I explained to the manager the situation and for a second, it appeared that I was going to be helped. She took my ID and went to the pharmacy, only to come back 4-5 minutes later telling me exactly what I told her. Instead of being understanding when I told her I wasn't going to put an Uber driver's life at risk, she then attacked me and accused me of putting her life at risk, due to Her lack of PPE while working at a facility that conducts COVID testing. Absolutely unprofessional. Unfortunately, I did not get this manager's name, but it doesn't really matter because she was completely useless in handling the situation. "Manager" is clearly only a title here since "Pharmacist's Secretary" isn't very impressive. Do better Walgreens

Pharmacy - I’ve waited on hold many times experiencing trouble with the automated system, being put on hold (endlessly) and having my call dropped. *I’d be so happy if they retained quality staff that could quickly address customer needs so I didn’t have to make so many in person trips before getting my meds.

On hold for the 3rd time today. . .over 3 callers ahead of me each time and disconnected when my turn came. Update - I called customer service for Walgreens and they told me they'd transfer me so I thought it would be direct. Nope, on hold again with over 3 callers. . . Update - Here I am 8 months later with the same issue. REally need to find another pharmacy. I think I've been on hold for over 45 min. . .started out over 3 callers ahead of me and now I'm next. My guess is the other callers hung up.

Well I was trying to fill my script all day at the marginal way Walgreens. They didn’t have it in stock. Got it transferred to forest ave to be filled they still made me wait 4 more hours. My doctor called and pharmacist would not fill it. Childish behavior.

I've been using this Walgreens since I moved to Portland in fall 2017, and have been consistently impressed and grateful for the service provided by the incredible staff in all sections of the store. I've dealt most often with the pharmacy staff, who never fail to help me with any issues ranging from medication questions, insurance issues, etc., and who are ALWAYS on their game and provide the most amazing customer service. I look forward to seeing them each time I go in, and they go above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer.

Walgreens is both nostalgic as a venerable place of consumer affairs, shopping, Healthcare and function, while exceeding expectations in this modern day with staff and products of exceptional value and service.

I'm grateful that this pharmacy got my medications transferred from another Walgreens much faster than I was told. They were very busy, and I appreciate that they were open on the weekends. It only took a half hour from making the call to picking up the meds, yet most of that time was waiting in the phone queue, which is not the fault of the pharmacist or technicians. It is Walgreens fault for understaffing. I appreciate the people, but not the corporation.

They don’t really seem to know what they’re doing. I tried going here to drop off a package for a return. The website and my email said I didn’t need to do anything such as print a shipping label and what not. Just that they needed to scan the code in my email and an associate will take care of the rest. The woman refused to scan it and said I need a shipping label. Even after reading everything in the email. My husband then read it out loud to her and tried explaining to her. And she still wouldn’t do it or take my return so we walked out to go somewhere else.

I have two different needles and one thing of syringes. I’m supposed to have thirteen of each item as prescribed. They then changed just one needle to 12 instead of the original 13 as prescribed. So I have 13 of two items and 12 of one and my insurance will only refill them every 13 weeks. The pharmacy then told me I would have to deal with being short from now on out. Who’s to say they won’t do it with other prescriptions. I would not recommend them especially if you have needles or syringes.

I am really disappointed as a devout customer to this Walgreens. I literally live Across the street from this location and my neighbor even works here. The older dark hair 50 something gentleman told me as he was walking out the door at 9:45 that the store was closed. I said, “ I thought you were open until 10:00 pm?” He said, “ Computers went down so we’re closed now. “ I walked off so upset because my son that is sick needed medicine. Now I am going to tell him that the store had to close early from something I’ve never heard of happening in The 7 years I’ve lived here. I’m sorry but, this employee was in a rush to leave for something and so not cool!! Have some integrity please?!

The worst Walgreens Pharmacy I've ever been to by far. Horribly rude and lazy staff. The one man they had working was alright, but overall horribly run. The manager with the red hair is a nasty unprofessional woman. Do not give these people the business.

Gerry and Deb were incredibly kind to me while purchasing a gift for a colleague. They went out of their way to help me find balloons and gifts (They were a big hit!). All while engaging in conversation. It was an incredibly sweet and kind interaction to start off my day. Thank you Gerry and Deb!

Other than a bit of an excessive wait time to pick up a prescription as there was quite the line I was very satisfied with the kindness and respect the pharmacist(s) provided all whom were waiting, this is a rare occasion these days but these folks did wonderful. I would recommend ridding the two separate signs 1. Check in for vaccines 2. pick up prescriptions as folks were cutting the line and jumping into the vaccine check in line to pick up a prescription and being helped before others that had been waiting in the correct line for some time.
