I love the convenient location of this Vons, but this specific location is going DOWNHILL. My dad and I just bought a $200 dollar bottle of scotch whiskey with our basket full of other grocery items. By the time we were unloading our basket which we did so RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE STORE instead of walking out into the parking lot, someone must have grabbed the gift box out of our cart while we were loading other items in our car. This is the second robbery in a matter of 5 years. As much as I like the staff here, I won't be shopping here again. Another thing to note: They DO NOT have cameras pointing out to the parking lot. Only the entrance area. So if you walk out there at night you're on your own. Edited: Sooooo The camera footage was pulled. A couple saw the bottle in the cart. Took the bottle out and took it to their car. Went back into the store and continued shopping. By the time I realized I didn't have the bottle and returned to the store to explain it to management, the couple who took the bottle was still there. But at the time I did not realize it until the cameras were pulled the next day. According to Management, they will be pulling the customers Visa/Debit/Vons Club card the member's used to file a police report against them Management did comp me a new bottle. So I will continue to be a customer. Can't wait for the B**** to get her update from the PD. And I'll never forget her face.

Was assisted by a nice employee at the service desk but the manager had to come up to assist with the transaction. I believe the manager's name was Trina, and she was very upset with the employees because she had got called to get up and leave the office to assist with my customer service. I thought it was strange for a manager to act like that especially in-front of customers. Will not be coming back

I go to this Vons because it has a Wells Fargo bank where I go cash my checks from my other job. The people at the bank are amazing and they test you very well. The store is always clean and stocked a bit pricey tho. But would recommend people too so there. Plus they do vaccination there for free and they are really nice.

We to find Christmas cards for my grandsons. Found them. 9 other stores had none and Vons had 6 different ones. Got the 2 I needed. Store was clean and neat. The staff at the customer service counter greeted me and was friendly. Paid for the cards and got a lottery ticket. Good shopping experience.

I only stop at this particular Vons once a month or so when I have a particular client that's around the corner. But each time I've been it's clean in and out. Employees friendly and helpful. Which if you're like me a use one or two Vons as your habitual stores you're gonna need a little help because the aisle are definitely different than the ones I go to in Ventura.

I like this location, because it is never too busy. However, it is a bit pricy, so I typically only buy things from the weekly ad. (Or the discount tables they’ll put out every so often!) I wouldn’t shop here for certain produce, though. For example, the berries are either visibly underripe (in color) or moldy.

Store has a Great Officer. Me and my daughter shop at this store 3 weeks ago while heading to San Francisco. As we came inside we're greated with smile by the Officer and asked hows are day. The people are nice and managers are laughing making the environment so friendly. As we go out we are greeted again goodbye and the officer said stay highdrated such a sweet heart. Walking to our car a random guy is asking us some change we got so scared but the officer saw it and automatically escort us to our car, At that moment a couple was fighting on the white van and the officer de escalate the situation right away, The big guy is behind him making sure its all ok. When we are leaving an accident on the parking lot happen and the officer made them move to the side to not cause any traffic. Such a quick thinker. Great people, handsome officer and well restocked store. Very safe. Well recommended.

One Mother's Day, Vons sourced a standing rib-eye roast. They had it on 50% off plus an extra 20% with a member card. It was the finest beef I have ever had in my entire life. Whoever was responsible for curating this beef spared no expense for the mothers that Mother's Day. It was so good, it didn't need salt. That is difficult to imagine, but it is true.

Went there a few times now, for a deal listed in ad. Hot food. They seem to never have it or very little of any hot food also cold. Very disappointing.

I go to Vons weekly sometimes twice a week and I stopped at this one in Oxnard and needed to use the restroom with my 3 year old son. I asked for the bathroom code as I know Vons now has codes to get into the restrooms. I was told that an employee would unlock the door for me… um okay…so they came and did that and I was annoyed for sure bc not one other Vons has done this. Not the 4 I go to in Ventura has ever done it. So I asked another employee what is the policy on bathroom codes and he said they used to give it out but they have been having problems with graffiti lately so he will unlock it for me. What doenst make sense with this is they DID NOT CHECK THE BATHROOM after I left for graffiti!!! That makes no sense! Why did I have to have an employee open the door when I could have been given the code? I will NEVER shop this Vons and I called corporate as well!! Shame on you Vons.

Great store in Oxnard on Ventura Boulevard! The old Italian security guard was great last night even turned me onto a new fruit called a Sumo!!! It was like a giant tangerine that was so juicy and delicious!! Great staff all friendly and go out of their way to help

This a bigger Vons with a lot more spices and food options. There’s mostly self checkout lines option. Maybe 1-2 cashiers. The parking lot is busy too. I like this Vons more than the other one nearby. It’s much bigger and just more options. Better deals than the other Vons too. Pharmacy is the corner in the back.
