Shit over charges my card said it would be $8.00 ended up being $15.00. Vaccume didn't work that's another $2.00 moved to the next one also didn't work that's another $2.00 total $19.00 charge my card not to mention the $5.00 dls input in on the wash machine. Over all new look same crap as before. Sorry but car wash is very good buisness. No excuses to be cheap and stingy with you're product.

This place is amazing! I was drawn in by the murals and ended up having a great time washing my car. Very convenient location and great amenities, definitely going back. So quick and easy and well maintained, and frankly a bargain!

Management ruined this carwash. I paid $9 and my car looks worse. The soap is too diluted to clean, the "spot-free" rinse doesn't work and leaves hard water spots everywhere, and the cycle time is shorter. A complete waste of money. Avoid.

I’ve tried a lot of car washes around West LA, and this one is by far the best. The hoses are newer, everything actually works, and the lighting makes it easy to see what you’re doing. The soap quality is great too — honestly, this place has been the most reliable in West LA.

I support this little old school car wash spot big time. I've know this place for ages too. Why I love this place? One very late at night , I had emergency car wash situations and stopped by this place . I've done all the washing and cleaning then I forgot my hand brush 🪥 which is already discontinued in market and it's impossible to get it again. I was thinking oh well ... It's my fault ... Like that. Then about 2-3 month later I stopped by this place again by coincidence in day time ... one staff was there working because it's daytime. When the guy saw me he run up me and hand me back that brush that was lost long ago !!! 🤩 Telling me he recognize me & my car !! Yo ? In this big & wide Los Angeles CA, Who would do that now still ? None, Zero, Nada , y'all ? Y'all better recognize this honesty & kindness service . This place is not a Japan but gave me Japan level of honesty and kindness !! This place ONLY takes cards now. No coins. I was there today with no attendant available. Swiped my card once $5 for 5 minutes no problem. I was running out of time, so I swiped again for another five minutes, but checked my bank statements immediately and found I was charged $15 on the second swipe which only gave me 5 minutes. Total scam. Check your bank balances folks.

I went to Village Car Wash the other day for the first time since their remodel. I was impressed. Everything was new and worked well. They now take credit cards (if you want) as well as bills. I briefly spoke to the owner who seemed genuinely happy he could make the changes. He said his grandmother had owned it. I'm also glad to support a small business - and it's clear they care about their customers.

My old faithful coin car wash is now credit card only. Want a $5 wash? You're charged $15 and I'm told, blaming the bank, "maybe I'll get my $10 change back in a week or so." You got me once. I'm not coming back. Followup: For two days my account showed $15 as pending. Today, it showed the intended amount of $5 for the wash. That's fine but this is not what I was told by the attendant how it would work. I don’t like this system. I will choose to use a coin wash and not deal with the credit card system.

Great renovation and nice new equipment. My only (and quite significant concern) is that spot free rinse actually leaves quite significant spots once it dries up, making the car wash practically unusable. Chances are I messed up and used non spot free rinse but something else, but.. I'm 90% sure I did press the right button. Still leaving the 5* review, the owner seems genuinely interested to improve the business, so hopefully it gets fixed 🙏

This car wash used to be good — only $2 for 2 minutes, and you could pay with coins. But now, after six months, they changed everything. You must pay by card, and it costs $5 for 5 minutes. If you go just a little over 5 minutes, they charge you $15! That’s crazy! There are no clear signs about this rule, so people lose money easily. Be careful — this place feels like a scam now. Not honest or fair. I don’t recommend it to anyone.

I’d say it’s fairly pricey for the time you get. But the more annoying part of this car wash is the alley which is just absolute garbage with potholes and dirt and there’s no other way to leave. The owner needs to Get on the city to fix the alleyway, which is their property. But I’m not gonna come back here, but what’s the point when your car gets dirty by driving down a shitty alley? Follow Up 2/17/2025: Saying it's too hard is a lousy excuse. Get the district rep involved or go into the city office. They will hide behind a computer. Until it's fixed, I'm not coming back.

It's convenient but really not very economical. Perhaps I need to strategize my car wash routine because the last 2 visits have cost me more than $30. It's $1 for each minute used (I believe). This is how it breaks down for a midsized SUV: about 15+ minutes for all the vacuuming (dog hair and sand), then about 2 minutes for prewash, about 5-7 minutes for soapy brush thing, and another 5-7 minutes to rinse and 7-10 using the high powered dryer...I think maybe the dryer is a waste...but it quickly adds up. I'll most likely still go back.

Reopened, I go to wash my car, there’s no soap coming out of the water gun after one minute. Emailed this place twice no response letting me know it’s time to go back to the self car wash on Lincoln in Santa Monica. Why have a website with contact information but not reply to customers that help pay the bills and to see a profit and with my luck I hope they don’t also own the one on Lincoln.

I have been here once before and it worked fine. But this time the soap ran out and foaming brush doesn’t produce any soap. And for pre soak and high pressure soap the same. Also, there was an associate there cleaning the trash. I asked him for some help. He said he doesn’t work there and got in his car and drove off. Cant be verify he was an associate. Probably just dumping trash.

Absolutely do not choose this place. Even though I selected the 5-minute, $5 option, $15 was still deducted from my card. This is fraud. This is the second time this has happened. Luckily, I have photo and video evidence. I want you to know that I will be filing a lawsuit for fraud as soon as possible. This happens every time, and it's a scam. I will initiate legal proceedings…
