Tractor supply in Chico is awesome. I had no idea I could buy dog food, chicken food and rabbit food while getting Christmas decorations for my yard. Blaine the manager on duty was super helpful and knowledgeable. What a sigh of relief to be able to shop at a retail store and still get great customer service. 2 thumbs up!

The management really goes the extra mile to help the customers, your average employee is a little hit or miss, which is kind of party for the course in almost every box store these days. They carry a lot of animal food varieties and they do a fair job on keeping inventory in. Fun place to look around, I'm always surprised by what they have.

I was discriminated by an employee and a so called store policy. It was a nice day for a bike ride. So decided to take a ride to Tractor Supply Store in Chico CA and shop. Upon entering the store an employee told me I cannot enter the store no backpacks allowed in the store and told me I can leave it outside in front of the store. I asked for a reasonable accommodation to leave my backpack at the front desk. The employee say no and went on to tell me the store has a no backpack policy. I looked around the store and saw three ladies who were carrying purses one of them was bigger than my backpack. What is the difference if I have a backpack or a large purse? My conclusion is that I never plan on setting foot in that establishment again and they are going to get a lifetime of poor reviews from me until this company makes a fair policy for regarding backpacks, Purses or any other bags entering the store.

The manager was very rude to me. I wasn't allowed to shop here because I had a backpack. They wouldn't allow me to leave it at the register or front door. I was told I had to leave it outside. I work for a very well known and highly respected business that takes security very seriously. If I was to steal so much as a candy bar my boss would fire me and make sure that I couldn't ever work in butte county ever again. I came here to replace a broken part to a bottle jack. I've never been so disappointed with the service from any business before in my life.

I bought a tire iron from the paradise store great staff very helpful, well I didn't need the tire iron and took it to the chico store to return it the manager totally judged me calling me a theif basically Said we don't return stuff from paradise store because people use the receipts to return stuff that they don't pay for he never asked me if I have a account which I do just I'm very upset

Everyone who works there was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all of my questions. Five stars for a clean and organized space, and a huge dog section with great prices! One very rude employee approached me out of nowhere and said “Didn’t they tell you backpacks arnt allowed in this store?” I said no and that mine is a purse designed to hold a laptop as well. He didn’t even finish listening to me before turning and walking away. There isn’t any signs anywhere. This isn’t a backpack. I was greeted by employees when I walked into the store with this same purse. I also checked out and they didn’t comment on my purse. This one gentleman could use a refresher on how to have a conversation with customers. Very poor attitude. I’d say it was an off day for him but I can see from prior reviews this isn’t a one time incident.

This place is a dream. It has things I didn't even know existed. Most everything here is a good price, except for a few things you can get cheaper elsewhere. The thing that stuck out to me most was the sheer amount of stuff they have for sale. Now, I know you can't really beat Amazon because that stuff comes right to your door, but if you aren't sure what you need, this is the place to go to find it. There's something to be said for holding something in your hand before you buy it. I will be back and often.

Was waiting in line. Because one young lady's cash register took forever with one customer. One man cashier came up to me out of nowhere startled me. He tried to be tough. Like I did something wrong. But was quick to get you out the door. Some people had no sense of humor. I work as a technician on many jobs. I would never treat a poor fella with disrespect 🤧 Every time I see a person waiting in line or needing someone to talk too. I just go up to that person and ask them nicely. If they're here for part or an appointment. Typical people these days.

I went there for some winter garden seeds and the floor guy was a condescending jerk. The coward couldn't even look me in the eyes. If you have long head and facial hair avoid this dump. They also did not have the seeds I was looking for. Peace out.
