I’m not from the area but since I visit my parents often I had become an avid user of Tommy’s until today. I purchased the $18.00 wash as I normally do.I was informed I had 15mins before they closed. That was sufficient time because all I was going to do was do a quick vacuum of my front seats and leave. However, when I got out of the tunnel they had closed one side of the vacuum section off, and now had to wait behind two other cars also waiting to vacuum. I asked why they closed the other section off since it was still business hours, I was told to go inside and ask. Finally at 6:56pm a vacuum spot opened up but then I felt rushed because they started turning off lights. If you’re going to close exactly at 7pm don’t close one of the vacuum sections off when you have a line of people waiting to vacuum. It seems counter productive when you want people to leave on time but also make customers feel rushed. Time is money and money is time. I”ll take my money and time to my hand wash & vacuum place in chino hills. Plus the kids working here are rude, proper etiquette should be reviewed. Normally this is a sign of bad management.

UPDATE I finally was able to use the wash and honestly if the third time wasn't a charm this place was going to get 1 star, 0 if you could. The time I was able to wash my car was done very fast but before I got my wash I was told by the guy Andy that they would be turned off at 7. That was a bummer to hear. The next time I went I drove as fast as I could after work since it's the only time I can go and I asked the girl at the window if I could vacuum and she said of course I could they close at 7, but I have until 7:15-7:20 to use them. I asked her if they shut off she said they have a timer on them but just push the red button again. The I mentioned what I was previously told, she apologized and said that if that happens again to let her know I can go in or just call and ask for the manager Monica, she will make sure that doesn't happen again. This guy that has been there almost anytime I've gone has always told me exact change or card only. I asked once if I don't have change then what happens he just said that's all we are taking right now. If that's the case, wouldn't you eventually have the $3 to give me in change. The manager Monica was nice and informative. If I did come across the information that I did. My cousin says all the staff is nice but I don't think he has come across this guy. Giving it 2 stars because the outside looks very nice. It's a shame I didn't get to try it out. Only time I can come is when I am off of work, seen that this place was open until 7 and I came very close to closing it was 6:57pm and the gate was closed I drove through the parking lot and people are vacuuming. I call the phone number that's provided and no answer. I want to give benefit of the doubt, my cousin comes here says it does a decent job. This is a bad first impression though. Hopefully I can update this review soon.

Nice place to wash your car. It's never really packed, prices are average...$18 dollars is the top tier wash cost and $7 is the minimal wash. I don't like the fact that the wash is so short. Other express car washes have longer and more suds in their wash and come to think about it the other places offer a better wash for the max price of $15 dollars. For that Tommy's express gets 3 stars from me.

Wash is alright and location is close by. Not great at cleaning near the bottom of my car and mirrors aren’t as clean as a different car wash place. The rear of the car doesn’t get dried much. Good for a quick, cheap wash though.

The place is nice but the quality of the wash is not good. There so called 3 step wheel cleaner is BS. The wash is quick, doesn’t uses all these wax’s like other washes. The vacuum’s suck, the nozzle is horrible, all the other washes have a flat one and a crevice nozzle, and they make better contact with the carpet. No tire dressing is out on with wash. Also all the other washes give you a towel, surface cleaner, air fresher included in the price. I pay $19 for 2 washes at Prime express, and I get a far better car wash then this place for $18, plus $3 if you want a detail kit. I would spend my money else where

I first encountered this concept of a Car Wash in San Diego and I was glad they brought it close to home. On my first visit, I went with the #1 WORKS and it was fine, I hadn’t washed my car in over +2 months previously. Of course, it didn’t get the small details but it did get rid off the overall dirtiness. The vacuums being complementary is a nice touch and they even have one on each side for every space which means you won’t be sharing with anyone. I would come here whenever I’m in a rush.

Not too bad of a place for a wash but after I had just finished cleaning my car and was in the process of vacuuming the inside, one of the workers decided to open up the hose from the vacuums and clean it causing all the dust that had accumulated to form a nice solid layer of dust onto my car after they had just finished washing it. Some of the employees have no regard for their actions and or seem to care about what they are doing in the moment.

Every time I’ve been here there’s only one lane open 😳 There are two spray guns on each side of the tunnel entrance and only one side is being operated by an employee, the end of the tunnel has a drying roller I really like and it wasn’t working 😟 It seems like there’s always something minor not operational. It all adds up with time I’m afraid this car wash will become sub par. Still a good enough place to wash your car.

If you go every week to wash your car it is worth buying the membership. Definitely a great price for the membership compared to other car washes. I specifically chose this car wash because I've tried many car washes but this car wash does the best job. Hardly ever any crud left on the car when you run it through the wash.

Three years ago I rated Tommy's Express five of five stars. However I didn't give any further information on my experinces with the wash. So I'm back again to put some words to that Google review I made. From my first wash some four years ago to the present day I've been nothing but satisfied with every visit. Starting with the first face you see as you arrive at the window, to other interactions while on the property. The staff have always been courteous and welcoming. The lot and vacuum stalls are very well maintained. The service provided here allows my vehicle to consistently be presentable. Thank you all, and keep up the exceptional job your doing.

I really hate leaving negative reviews, but I still need to share this experience. Please be very careful with their 1-month free car wash promotion, as it's easy to be overcharged during the setup. The first time, with the help of the guy at the window, I activated the one-month free car wash. However, due to the less-than-straightforward settings, I eventually found out that the free trial only applied to the first use. I ended up paying twice unnecessarily. Moreover, to be fair, even the highest level of car wash service was not very clean. I hope everyone considers this carefully.

I recently had an incredible experience at Tommy’s and I just have to share it! From start to finish, the customer service was top-notch, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. After an unexpected incident during my visit, I was initially concerned. First of all, I don’t really like to write reviews. It must be a very experience for me to write up one. And here it is. I wish I can give 0 star. Be careful to wash your car here, I put my car on Neutral as instructed and in about the middle of the wash, my car rolled back and hit the car behind me. The guy came out and talked like it’s my fault but never admitted it was some type of malfunction in their system. I washed my car at so many different places without any issue. I will never come back and don’t suggest anyone to wash your car here. I washed my car here since they offered the first 30 day complimentary and wanted to give it a try. It turned out that the entire car wash system/structure suck compared to other places. Don’t expect your car to be clean from this place and you might get your car damaged (like my incident earlier).

We were asking a simple question because we switched over from another carwash to this one and wondered if the same policy applied. We had a loaner vehicle and we were TRYING to ask since we were in a loaner vehicle can we can still use our membership on our loaner and instead of just answering the question directly, your staff was very rude to the point we could barely even get our question out because they kept interrupting us. Your employee told us "Do we just want to go to that carwash" instead of just answering with a yes or a no why be snappy. Seriously what kind of customer service is that, we were gonna buy it if they said no(which we did because we needed it) money was not an issue . We did nothing wrong but try to ask a question. One of the other employees had to tell the other to stop talking but he was being rude as well. It was just incredibly disrespectful and I definitely matched their disrespectful energy. So yeah membership cancelled. Be disrespectful to someone else. We literally had a simple question. How embarrassing for this company hire better people. Terrible experience.

Not the best. Pretty expensive compared to other quick car washes in the area. I paid $14 and my car still had lots of dirt spots afterwards. This is also the only car wash I have been to where the spinning scrubbers, or as seen in this place what I would describe as a dangling mop, lifted the windshield wipers on my car while passing through so I wouldn't go again just with that being a concern for damage. The only thing I liked here was that the vacuums worked well and staff was nice.

Their highest level wash left my car still dirty. Pros: -really fast -free vacuums -free rewash when my car was still dirty Cons: -so fast it apparently didn't actually clean my car -pretty pricey for it to not work -the whole reason I went was to clean the grille so I could install my new license plate and so I still had to wash by hand afterwards and the stuff they didn't get off came off really easy by hand, so it was clearly just a bad wash The attached photo is what my car looked like after going through their highest level wash twice.

It is an automated car wash. I chose it because I am a mobile notary and I also provide pet care for many of my past clients. I am in a hurry and busy, so this is very convenient for me to just drive in and drive through. They have a wonderful monthly membership. I still use my old car wash for inside cleaning and detailing. I’ve had my car since 2003. I am the original owner and it is in excellent condition. I have gone through a car wash, at least once a week, for that entire time and I’ve never had any part ripped off or damaged. I was at the car wash, in November and I heard this ripping of metal and didn’t know what it was, as I was going through the wash. It was a very loud sound, so I looked in my rearview mirror and I saw, what I thought was their equipment being dragged across the rear window of my SUV. This was definitely not a part that dropped off. I saw it and heard it being ripped back and forth, across my rear window. But I didn’t know it was something on my car. I really thought their equipment had broken. As I drove out, the manager must have heard the sound of metal and waved me over. He showed me this part which is the brake light, on the back top of the SUV that had been ripped off my car. We both took photos and he wrote up a damage report and told me to take it to a specific company for an estimate . I did follow his instructions. The manager told me that the owner probably would not pay for the repairs. I thought to myself, he really doesn’t have a choice???. I didn’t hear from the body shop or the car wash for sometime but the body shop owner told me that it was taking a long time to get parts and not to be concerned . Finally, I wrote letters to the car wash and the body shop. I was told they were not going to make the repairs and I am a regular customer, every week. To me that’s bad business. I am a business owner and I appreciate great reviews. I do not post negative reviews very often, unless I feel the public needs to know. I write reviews for Google. . I am very disappointed in the way they handled my damaged SUV.
