This is one of the rudest employees I have ever had a encounter with absolutely no help lazy did not want to help what so ever if you have to deal with him in customer service he will sit on the counter if u need real help wait till the next employee is available or you won't get anything done. I’m 77 years old & Home Depot should have better employees

Showed up to Home Depot and the Cashier ignored me, Closed the door 10 min prior to closing time just spoke with Val he claim he is a manager and told me he closed 5 minutes prior to closing when I was there 10 min. Taking my business to Lowe’s from now on. They just lost from 10k or more a week because of their rudeness when I just ask him is it normal for the doors to close early from posted time.

I went in because of a LIFETIME WARRANTY I had with a brand new 1/4” drive Husky Torque Ratcheting wrench that I’ve had for a few years and never used. I opened the box today and found out it was broken. I spoke to someone from customer service around 2pm earlier saying they can exchange it for the exact same tool, even though the exact same tool has a black handle and not an all stainless steel handle. So I drove all the way out to Lowe’s from Youngstown, only to find out they said no. Because the color of the handle. They told me to talk to husky (which is a Home Depot brand). It was pathetic customer service and they had no interest in helping me. The manager at the customer service desk at 7:45ish pm on 08/23/2025 didn’t care about my issue. I’m done with Home Depot and their pathetic attitudes. I could come back another time and a different worker at the customer service desk would exchange it. Thanks for all the help Home Depot!!! I’ll make sure to stick with Lowe’s like usually do. Because they actually seem to care. It’s nice to spend $75 on a tool and then not be taken care of when I open the box and it’s broken… Steer clear of Home Depot. A lot of the workers are nice. But some managers have a big ego for some reason and they don’t care about your issue. 1 star review is me being generous. Pathetic customer service.

Place is starting to go down hill in a hurry. Friendly help is hit or miss. Good luck trying to find spray foam filler. Asked about for replacement and install and was given a ridiculous quote that included a $1000 permit fee. The lady that have me the quote was crazier than her eyes couldn't tell which way she was looking. Come to find out the permit fee was completely fabricated. Appliances are never in stock and always told they'll have to order them online not sure what's the point of going to the store.

This Home Depot has been a regular stop for me since it was built. It’s a seamless experience shopping here, they have a good selection and a large garden center. The only downside to shopping here is the same for almost all other stores around today….prices are getting ridiculous. As far as recommending this store, yes it’s worth shopping here because you’re not waiting inline long at all. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they have no problems helping you to find what you’re searching for. It seems that they are much friendlier and more eager to help you at this location than at the four other locations I shop at. The main reason I give it a 4-star rating is because there’s always room for improvement….the staff here are certainly 5-star employees!

Always get my home improvement supplies here. Love the new rug we got there. I always find what I need. Only complain would be that, for some reason most of the time, the app does not work inside the store. I don't know if it's some strategy to force people to get help from employees. It is not the internet since other apps work fine in the store. But other than that, nothing else. The locations of the product in the store are pretty accurate. As long as I pull it up before going in the store. The employees are very knowledgeable about the products and their location. On top of all, they have military discount. I would say that the should have some sort of account connected to your phone number and to you military discount. Anyway excellent service and support. Side Note: pictures are products or from some projects with supplies from Home Depot

Bought a $600 mower at the guidance of one of the staff. 3rd time mowing the grass and it breaks down. I'm on day 33 of the 30-day return window, so now I have to deal with Echo. Echo makes me register the product and has no way to actually contact them, other than submit an email ticket and they send a generic email. No communication. Now I have to create an account to log into Echo to try and follow up with them to fix my broken lawnmower. They also force everyone to stand in a confusing bubble around self checkout islands without any clear direction or flow to how the "lines" work, and half of them are shut off anyways because they think you're a thief. I can't imagine a more dismal shopping experience.

The store layout here is not the same as most other Home Depot stores. Makes it a little confusing. Store is smaller, more crowded, and dirtier than other Home Depots. However, if you know what you need and Home Depot has it, you'll eventually find it here. Checkout often has self service kiosks down. My contractor ID didn't work here as it does everywhere else. Checkout people really earnestly try, but they are more in the way than helpful. Nice people though! Garden section small and very underwhelming.

Walked in to HD today with a slightly perplexing situation on my hands. I had an employee of mine buy a pallet of concrete ($350 roughly) with my business card and forgot to send the receipt to my email and instead got a paper receipt which he then lost. After the project was finished we had about $80 of concrete and the deposit on the palet to return...Mike's ethic at the customer service desk was truly something else! To every problem I had he had a swift solution. He was patient with me and even cracked a few jokes! Pleasant fellow to be around. Thanks HD!

I can honestly say, Home Depot has stepped their game up. I was extremely impressed with their customer service the last time I went. They were at the door asking could they help me when I walked in & was asked multiple other times while shopping if they could help me. Hands down, my best experience. Everyone was very kind and happy to help. Great job Home Depot for stepping up. This is now my main go to for sure.

They have installed a wall in front of the registers. Can’t fit large carts or large items. I told the lady in charge how dumb it was to which she said go to the pro desk if you have wood. I had one piece. Pro desk was full so I carried my wood around the wall, she was confused like why are you back. Proceeded to tell the lady in charge how dumb it was and that I would take my business to Lowe’s. She said great have a nice day. Before I left 5 ppl complained about the inconvenience as well as three employees. Maybe she should take some notes and listen to the ppl that spend money in there. Last I checked it was a hardware store not macys

Nothing but bad experiences. They damaged my dryer vent by trying tonput a smaller vent over a bigger hole. I had hot air leaking since day one and cold air coming through the house for like 3 weeks before we noticed anything. Had an apoitnment for today to fix problem. Now its canceled. Ordered a bbq grill. Had a hole in box full of mildew and a huge dent which made it non servicable. Lost my delivery fee on this. They come to offer a discount due to dent but it was too much damage. It has been the worst customer experience ever with a company. Being a new home owner and looking for a place to do a fence and gutters. Would try somewhere else first especially if you plan on buying online. Also I went to the store yesterday and saw the messed up grill with the dent and missing paint on display for sale at full price $299.00. Would like to speak to a manager. Im losing money everyday and cannot use my dryer now. They keep saying its the subcontractor not them. I would take caution before buying online you might get a used item.

If I could give a negative I would, your associate Daniel (at customer service....? at least that is what's on receipt) and the male "manager" in a purple polo today, absolute disgrace to home depot. I have never been so appalled by some of your employees verbal usage as i was today.... he also cost you customers by what he said. and it will be continuously shared until made right. I am absolutely appalled with the sheer lack of customer service, friendliness, no communication with customers about orders or what they are doing, as well as anything else! We ordered something that was needed for a job we were on (about a month ago- give or take a day or 2 max....) so we got the notification it was ready to be picked up, so we went to get it just to be met with the remark "Oh it was damaged so we sent it back" ok... i would have been fine with it had they called and informed me of this so i could then inform our clients waiting for their shower to be done..... so again the waiting game. Just to get notified it was there for pick up so we went to get it, and again... broken. So we take it to the customer service desk and tell them what happened, the associates name said Daniel. He just kept saying "you gotta tell *manufactures name here* because its not us who choose shipping methods" when in fact it is home depot because i did speak to manufacturers also. So we tell the associate we need an exchange to have a new one reshipped to the store for pick up..... he didn't listen... didn't offer any kind of help what so ever. he then refunded my card, which i didn't want.... i wanted them to just put in for an exchange due to being broken, again. I then had management come out to try and speak with them, the gentleman that came out in a purple polo was completely unprofessional, and the way he spoke to me was absolutely uncalled for and an absolute disgrace. I even had 2 customers who were shocked that was said and walked out of the store right behind me. Now, me and my husband own a business and have been giving home depot the majority of our business since 2017, for business reasons and materials, and even before then for our own home needs! With the absolute disgrace i faced today in that store, i am unsure if we will be back or take all of our business to Lowes and pull all of our client lists as well and swap to Lowes for the ease of business. If you look at the photos, it is clear its damaged. I am also questioning the labels slapped on top of each other, for the fact I talked to the manufacturer and they flat out told me they dont get shipped back the products and its on home depot for them to deal with the payment, refund, reorder and disposal of damages. This looks like i was just given the same as the one they said they "returned" because of damages. Do better Home Depot! and make it right!
