I always enjoy shopping at this home depot. They have the most friendly staff and are always courteous to everyone. Yet today was no exception I came in looking for some lumber and I know that it's been in short supply for quite some time. My associate mark was very nice and he was able to place an order and it will be coming in in 3 days.

One of the Best Home Depots I've Visited From the moment we walked in, the customer service stood out. A representative greeted us right at the door and immediately offered assistance. We told him what we were looking for, and he pointed us exactly in the right direction—no wandering the aisles needed. The store itself was very clean, well-organized, and clearly well-maintained. On our way out, we used the self-checkout, and the attendant there was equally helpful and kind. We ran into a small issue with our order, but she resolved it quickly and professionally. Overall, this location offered one of the smoothest and friendliest shopping experiences I’ve had at Home Depot.

This is the worst store for customer service. I waited for 40 minutes to get an item that required a forklift. No manager on premises. The employees tried to assist me at the checkpoint but nobody ever came. She tried to call a manager and no answer!!!

My wife and I were looking to buy a washer and dryer for our house on the mustang island just before Port Aransas. We went to Lowe’s on Airline and went in and looked at some. My new wife had questions about brands and what was better for the price. The scarce employees were too busy on their phones and talking to each other this to even acknowledge us. We got so frustrated trying to get anyone to talk with us that we literally just left our cart in the center of appliances and walked out without even talking to 1 employee and I said let’s go to Home Depot. She asked what’s the difference my dad of 83 years likes Home Depot why do you? I told her 1 reason, customer service! She didn’t believe me until we drove to 5041 spid in Labor Day holiday the 30th 2025 thick traffic!!! We were also looking for 3 car and boat garage door paint(due to rust as everything on the island rusts) lawn care items and possibly replacing our existing kitchen appliances. We got there and were looking at paint and thought we knew what we wanted. Right then a young employee came up to us and asked do y’all need any help? We told him our situation and he immediately ,with a smile, said I’ve got just what you need. Hectook the time to get us the primer/paint we needed and the amount for our doors meanwhile explaining the differences and quality of what we would need! We bought the bear paint and before we could grab them, he said I’d be happy to take them and get them mixed for you and you can pick up at the counter when you’re done shopping! I had totally forgotten that they needed to be shaken and mixed. Young Hispanic male in paint. So we were both surprised at how nice, helpful and most of all genuine he was. I immediately said see why me and your dad come to Home Depot! 1 reason, customer care!!! We then went find our washer and dryer and were, AGAIN, greeted immediately by an older white male who asked can I help y’all find anything? Of course my wife had many questions about what was best and would last the longest. He took the time explaining the differences after ASKING what her needs were? He showed us what would handle the workload and showed us(instead and most importantly what would work and VALUED our time after we told him about our complete and wasted time at Lowe’s). Completely shocked my wife(who never believes me) said “now I see what you and my dad are talking about! What nice, fully staffed and truly amazing customer care they give here.” We ended up spending over $6000 dollars worth of merchandise and made customers for life!!! Never will we give Lowe’s 1 penny or ever step foot in there again. We’re so used to bad service now a days that we will drive the extra miles for the experience and treatment we received from not just 1 but every time we needed something, bam!, there was an employee right there and helpful. We even bought tile backsplash for our kitchen that we had debated on for literally years!! OUTSTANDING job to all. So impressed and most of all validated all I had told her why I have come to home depot all these years with just a little extra effort and personal experience made our day and we left feeling appreciated and totally surprised!! Thank you for taking some stress off us and legit caring about us. Roger and Lara.

They don't hire or can't retain help. In the last 16 months I've done about 40k of upgrades on our home. I buy virtually everything from power tools to fasteners to most all hardware from Amazon because of the lack of assistance at Home Depot. I'm 76 with back and leg issues. I've waited 25 minutes or more (and they still don't show) for help to load 25 bags of soil or sand or landscape blocks or anything similar. I only even go to Home Depot for these few items that are impossible or impractical to purchase on Amazon. It's too bad because I'm a big Ryobi fan with about 15 of their power tools but all were bought through Amazon as opposed to HD, not because of price but because of lack of assistance at HD.

Lock on my front door broke and needed to be replaced ASAP. Showed up around 7:20 pm despite it saying on their door they're open until 8 pm. All manager could say was I know but we are closing. Off to Lowes from now on.

So I normally have good things to say about this place. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with a manager at the s.I.d location in corpus. When to pick up mulch for a landscape project with a wheelbarrow. The manager that came was a female manager named Randy. She handed the keys to the worker.(a very young female) she was having a hard time opening the lock. It looked like Randy was laughing at the young employee. So I asked if she could help her out because I was pressed for time. She said something under her breath. So I asked if she said something? She turned to me with a mad face and attitude and sad. (I’ll get right on it!) I was a little taken back by what I was hearing and witnessing! I turned to my partner and asked him if I was imagining things? He replied, (nope, she is giving lots of attitude) so that’s when I asked for her name and she gave it with more attitude and tone. I called the store as I was leaving to talk to a supervisor. She ended up answering as I could still hear that tone in the voice over the phone as well. I asked for the store manager which she replied with she was?! Not sure how she holds the manager position if you act like that.

I needed a trailer. The one I rented a couple weeks ago. I was told no. The reason? Because a 3/4 ton truck is required 'for safety'. My suggestion 'for safety' you read more and maybe update your policies. In the end, i suppose your uneducated employees and outdated safety measures are costing you money.

My Stratten Briggs mower lasted 2 years. I had purchased an extended warranty. Called Home Depot, after waiting 15 minutes for them to pick up the phone, got switch to a manager, then service desk, then was told to contact the manufacturer. I asked for the manager again. Then heard clicks, clicks, clicks. Then they hung up. I was told I could bring my mower back to the store if it breaks down. I'm not happy with this store at all. Very poor, POOR customer service. Awful.

Emilio went above and beyond to help us get our purchase completed while having difficulty with our Google wallet card. He walked us through the process to set up Home Depot app and when it still didn’t work he made sure to walk us to customer service and have them input it manually. He walked us to our car and helped us fit the equipment in our car! He was absolutely the best and so patient!! Thank you Emilio for all your help!!!

I went in to purchase a gift card on Tuesday December 23rd at around 8:00pm for a family member to help them purchase a new washing machine but I wasn't sure where they were so I asked some white lady that was working in the self checkout area with a younger hispanic guy. Her response was short and rude as she pointed me over in the direction. After I picked out the ones I wanted I went back into the self checkout to load them. I normally shop online so at this point they are not scanning and I'm having trouble. I was trying to get the attention of the clerks but they were just talking and ignoring every signal and "excuse me" that I spoke out. I then hit the help button on the self register and it stated someone will be with me shortly. As I looked over my shoulder after a few seconds I can just see both the lady and the guy laughing while looking straight at me. I cancelled the transaction and walked out. I happily went right over to Lowe's and spent my hard earned money there where I was treated like royalty. I won't be coming back to Home Depot. 👎👎
