Our senior pup loved her first trip to the Dog Wash. This place is really clean and has everything you could need/want. I was impressed by their set up--everything needed was available, easily accessible, organized and clean! The folks working were super friendly and helpful. Great facility, helpful staff! Various shampoos are available in bottles on a rack near the bathing station. Rubbery aprons are provided. And happy hoods are available upon request. They also have some wipes for ears. The blow dryer hose and switch are also handy to the bathing station. Staff are very friendly. 🥰

Great people, extremely welcoming. Really solid selection. Also from the signs and flags very friendly to everyone regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Might be a small thing to you but for the people who don't necessarily feel accept at other places it's a pretty big deal. And if you have a problem with that, well no one younger than you does and we're all going to outlast you so enjoy watching your bigoted ideals wash away in the sands of time. Haven't used any of the dog wash haircut services I just buy food there but it's very clear that they take good care of the dogs, all the dogs look very happy and all of it is out in the open not in some back room. So it's very clear to everyone there just how well the dogs are being treated.

The service you get at the Dog Wash Etc. and Pets on Point is amazing. The team greets me and my dog by name. They are patient, understanding, and incredibly loving to all furry friends. Their storefront is well stocked, easy to navigate, and not overwhelming or overfilled. Their grooming services are diligent, careful, and have both the pet and human in mind (shout out to Kristin!). I drive by many stores that are much more accessible for where I live to go to Pets on Point and the Dog Wash Etc. I highly recommend their services.

The Dog Wash is incredible! The staff are all so friendly and helpful. I washed my big dog in my bath once and swore to never do it again. This place makes it so easy! In and out within 30 minutes, with all of the supplies you need including a ramp to get her into the tub and a blow dryer to cut down on dry time. My dog came home so shiny and clean!

Great place to give your pooch a healthy fully loaded bath. Save yourself theess at home and pamper your pooch where hot water, endless shampoos, towels, and high powered hair blowers are at the ready. Oh, and they have a decent little treat bar to encourage your pup to return. I swear my dog loved it.

The Dog Wash Etc is a neighborhood institution at this point. I have been going here since they opened the first self serve dog wash in Portland almost 20 years ago. The knowledgeable staff keeps my furry loves living their best life. Greg, the co-owner with his brother, is an expert on pet nutrition and he has helped me solve diet issues I had with my newest puppy. I highly recommend buying local for your pets and supporting this family owned business.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. In 20+ visits we have had nothing but great experiences. The Dog Wash is a great place to wash your dog. They have everything you need to wash and groom. We have been going for years with 3 of our German Shepherds. Our Shepherds are very vocal about not wanting a bath, but the task is made easy do to the very clean, well stocked, and well designed bathing stations. The Dog Wash also has an amazing stock of pet food, treats, and supplies. Kenda is enjoying his antler he picked out.

Since getting our puppy 3 months ago, it feels like we've been to every pet store within 7 miles of portland. Last weekend we went to The Dog Wash Etc., and now it is our favorite of all of the stores. It's clear that the products and staff are carefully and strategically chosen. The selection of products is very good and priced very fairly, but more importantly it seems they've chosen the "quality over quantity" model of running this local business. The women working at the store when we visited were wonderful. All knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive, they helped us find exactly what we needed, and led us to even better options than we'd originally hoped to find. We will continue to support this thoughtful local pet store. LOVE THIS PLACE!

We went here after Jill from Poetic Gold Dog Training suggested we find a front lead harness. We went in and were helped by Emma, who was nothing short of amazing. She sat with us and helped us find the perfect harness for our dog. She took the time to fit our dog with the harness, which was extremely helpful and something that we most certainly would have done incorrectly if we had done it on our own. She explained to us about registering our products and the benefits of doing so. She told us to walk around the store with the harness on and to feel free to even try it outside. She then helped us fit a jacket for our dog. The store was clean, well organized, and their items I felt were high quality and reasonably priced. This is not just a place for your dog to get a wash (They do have stations for that as well!), but also a "ToyRUS per say for dogs. Loved the store and we will be back!

This place is amazing! I couldn’t rate it any higher - from cleanliness, to rates, to equipment, to their shop, to the STAFF. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Also a huge shout out to Evee, an employee I met today. They were super great! And so very knowledgeable, generous, and kind. I brought a foster dog here for a self-service bath. Everything was VERY clean, not even any smell throughout the whole shop! The rates are the fairest I’ve seen (and there’s no time limit!). All of the equipment, from the tub to the WIDE selection of dog shampoos you can use (all included in price you pay for the wash), are top notch. The electric grooming air dryer was also great! I was also super impressed with the selection and quality of dog food they offered in their shop, not to mention the prices were all great! Same with the collars, leashes, toys, treats, chews, and plenty of grooming supplies! I will be coming here often. Best self dog wash I’ve ever come across :)

What a great experience!! This was our first dog wash and it went so well. Staff walked us through all the steps of a self-service wash giving lots of tips and suggestions along the way. Everything we needed was right there, and they use excellent quality products. While we were there we got a nail clipping also and there's a discount to do it together. The woman who assisted us was incredibly knowledgeable, competent, and really had a way with dogs. Mine loved her! Also I noticed that they only sell the highest quality products. So if you're looking for a cheap brand you might not want to shop here, but for the name brands their prices are competitive with online retailers. And I don't find that often. I so much prefer to support a local business then one of the online giants. And now I feel comfortable that anything I buy there will be from a high quality brand. Also staff was so welcoming and said to be sure to come in anytime with my puppy. No need to buy anything just come in and socialize her. And I thought that was great. So if you're on the fence, just go on in and see how you feel! This is definitely our new home for all our local dog needs. Thanks, Dog Wash!!

I brought my husky and a friend's little terrier in yesterday after an incredibly long, HOT, and VERY muddy adventure in the woods during a very stressful time with my husband in the hospital. I was greeted by the most warm and friendly staff, Cassidy and Ivy, who got me completely set up in their wonderful wash station/pet spa :-) There were lots of choices of shampoos and conditioners, a clean and tidy tub area with scrubbers, blow dryers and all kinds of accoutrements (that we didn't need but were happy to see). It was my first experience bathing pups other than in our own bathtub, and everything about it was perfect! Love this place and their wonderful staff :-) ♥️

We are visiting from out of state and our dog needed a bath …. BADLY! The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Amazing staff! The bath stations are clean, fully stocked, and easy to use. While we didn’t need to purchase anything, the store looked to have any food you may need and all other dog needs you may have. I highly recommend this store!!
