Update: Seems they have made improvements. Everything worked and wasn't terribly expensive. AVOID THIS CAR WASH! Vacuums were horrendous. Only a few worked. Most of the bays weren't working. Credit card readers weren't working either. Three employees there "fixing" things, but everything was broken. Prime location and a little bit of investment into this place would make a lot of money. But they don't seem to care.

Basically just a power wash when we visited. The soap setting wasn't very convincing (little to no suds), with sand and finger/hand prints still visible after 5min of washing. Disappointing for $10.

Swiped my credit card and no water pressure at all. I walked into the office to try and get a refund or a working bay and there are guys working on the equipment. They said it’s broken and the owner isn’t around, so I’m out of luck apparently. Maybe next time putting those orange cones I saw laying around in front of the bays would be a good move so nobody else gets scammed. This place is awful. It’s worth the 1 minute drive and extra money to go to quick quack.

Uhhhh...basically everything's broken? Or.. abandoned? I came in for a quick rinse and I couldn't get any stall to work for me. I'm relatively sure it's an open business because there was residual water from being used.

The car wash doesn’t work. No water would come out.. ran my card so was stuck paying whatever they charged (the timer kept going and wouldn’t stop when I placed the dial on stop) . Tried to call and the phone doesn’t work. If someone can call me back and refund me, I’d appreciate that.

This location has apparently gone under new management and looks to be for the better compared to older reviews, as of now the tap feature and card readers are all working, cant say about the quarters yet, vacuums having card readers is a nice plus, for the boaters there is an engine flush, havent used the kwik rinse yet but plan to on our exit day! So long as this place stays in shape i will always return to this location and recommend to family traveling into Padre, NEVER take your car through the other car washes with flappers here if you value your paint, theres simply too much sand and it will RUIN your paint! I hope they keep the maintenance up because a good self service wash is getting hard to come by!

The only place around and apparently they know it! Sometimes it takes credit cards, sometimes it takes cash you do not know this until you have everything unloaded and it is too late. There is never any pressure If there is more than 4% soap in the soap part of it I will retract my review. Complete garbage the one person I ever talked to that worked there was rude and really just didn't care if I was there or not. This place needs to be bulldozed. Properly set across from the Plaza motel.

Car wash right off the bridge from the island easy to access. Priced as expected, Tony (pictured) who works here or maybe even owns the place, has a great attitude, and is very friendly and helpful! Thanks Tony!

I don't know about the past but this wash is fantastic. Good card readers so no change required and tons of pressure to blast of the beach sand.

self serve coin operated 24 hours, $2 to start, quarters or credit card, 4 minutes, no tokens, good pressure for soap, 8 bays, simple, effective, vacuums, old fashion, my photos may be cropped by google.

Rip off! This place is run down...broken knobs on the dials so you can't tell which setting you're on...but guess what? It doesn't matter anyway because only water comes out, no matter what setting you turn to! No pre wash, no soap comes out...nothing! A waste of time and money! And it's dirty and unkempt here.

First time coming here, and THIS is what I've picked up just walking around my truck to put coins in. That's insane 😳 That's AFTER I had already pulled into the stall!! Seriously?!?! I shouldn't need to run a magnet roller through these stalls before pulling in!! If I have a flat in the a.m. I'll definitely know what cause it!!!

They have improved, but still doesn't seem like you get enough time for your money. On multiple occasions, the setting I chose was out of soap... So needless to say I was super frustrated.

Stopped here to rinse off the sand, counted the quarters twice, plopped in the $3 and no water. Lady next to me swiped her card and it did not worked either. No coin return button, no attendant of course to complain to. Bathrooms advertised posted and they were gated and locked. Called the phone number but not expecting anything back from that either.

I was able to pull my rv into any of their bays. The self wash worked perfectly for me.

Great place to wash the beach off your vehicle or RV. Lots of bay plus they have a big bay with high clearance for class A,B and C rigs.

Washed a lot of sand and salt off here. Salt remover helped and card reader worked great. Car washed well for about $6 and RV (yes, there's a tall RV stall) for about $12 which is pretty good nowadays.

I stopped to wash my truck and RV after spending 2 weeks on the beach. I liked that they have a tall bay for my 5th wheel and plenty of room to get in and out. I thought the price was fair for what I got. Plenty of soap and pressure. I used a credit card and it worked great.
