Wish this store was here my entire college experience. It’s so convenient and has everything you need in a pinch! Super helpful staff—Adam knew exactly how to answer my question!

Love the location of this store, so helpful for college students who don’t want to/can’t drive out to Coralville! Really friendly employees as well, Adam has always been such great help whenever I’m there!

The management team here is nasty , the way they talk to people the way they treat they're staff as well as employees is unacceptable and they're suppose to be a more convenient target no better off going to Coralville where the customer services is great !!

How many more weekends are we going to have to hear this noisy plane flying over Iowa City with your banner attached? How annoying. Better to put the money into relief for Cedar Rapids area.

Witnessed managers berating their employees many times. If they are that open about being jerks to the staff on the sales floor I can't imagine how bad it is offstage.

This location is quite small when compared to other Targets around, although this doesn't make that big of a difference. The reason is that here you can get all the essentials in a timely manner. Would reccommend coming here consistently

Target first impressions, from an IC local. The pros/meets expectations: -comparable or competitive with CVS (all the way down to vibrators) -competative selection in almost every non-food item to other chain stores This is taking accessibility into account (I cannot select a Walmart razor brand if I don't wanna walk through the store, ja feel??) The two story layout is excellent in that way. -not a ton of produce, which means they aren't taking from the co-op, bread garden, local business nos. -Fully accessible by all bus routes, IC and Cambus. Game changer. -they got SNACKS and snack sized foods galore. The cons: -Downtown locale means mark up is HIGH. I spent $31 for five items, wants and needs! Oof. This will level out hopefully. -Not competitive or even comparable groceries. This Target is for suburbanite students. Budget-conscious-townie still needs Aldi. This will likely not change and I accept that lol. -Is there an elevator?? Why not?? That's a violation of ADA, muh dudes. -Just because I can get there easily/fast does not mean I can get home fast (looking at you, IC transit). I was fully thrilled to have this store open and I still am!!! 2020 has a bright spot after all :)

Great layout, the multi-floor setup is really neat, and it's in an incredibly convenient location. My only gripe is some prices can be a bit high, but you can't beat the convenience, and it's better than gas station prices.

The store is immaculate. The vibes are impeccable. Thou shall walk in and immediately feel the positive energy soaring through their veins. Outstanding music pours into my heart: Tunes composed by Beethoven in his own grave and composed by the greatest bands of the century. How dare thy give this place anything below five stars. One thousand years of banishment for those who give this place anything other than a 5 out of 5.

Good location but almost every time I buy something marked ‘on sale’ or ‘buy 2 for $x’ it rings up as the original price. At a certain point one has to wonder if the management is doing it intentionally.

Layout is great. Wide range of options with grocery on the first floor and home/clothes/electronics etc on the second floor. I hope this target doesn't drive out small businesses around the area, but overall it provides necessities for Iowa City residents who may not have transportation to Coralville.

This location actively lies to its customers about prices. It'll say one price on the shelf, but will ring up 60¢ or higher for some products. The website will have the correct price. I get that it's downtown and they'll markup products to prey on college students, but to lie about it and hope you don't see it when you check out is another thing. Noticed this on two different products this year.

Great location and I would imagine a great resource for anyone who is in college. Has pretty much everything a big Target has, just a bit smaller. Very clean, organized, and primarily self checkout- which I love. There are employees at the other counters to check people out but it is fast as hell because of the self checkouts.

The location was sort of cool like those you see in the city being a two-story location. Obviously, items in stock are limited to those needed by students or those you see in the convenience store, but it serves its purpose for 80% of things a person needs. Prices seemed a little higher but I'm guessing that's due to the convenience the store offers. The staff were all friendly.

Located in the heart of the city. Small and compact. Entrance is ordinary. But you will get basics.

Staff has always been courteous respectful and efficient. Good problem solving mentality. Good helpful and kind welcoming attitudes towards guests. I would like to see this target tho finding ways to contribute to the community. More whether that’s table to table for grocery left overs or helping to pick up trash down town or. With corporate backing community contribution is a must
