The staff was very diligent. ( I’ve been to another take5 location and the staff was very slow). The process to change oil was very quick. I deeply appreciate it.

I waited for over 45 minutes for service! None of my other fluids were checked except my oil and I had to ask three times to get them to check my tire pressure. At the end, they asked if I was paying with cash or card, after I said card, they brought the card reader over without even telling me the total. Worst experience I've ever had at Take 5 Oil Change.

Took my vehicle in and based on their recommendation had an O2 sensor, thermostat and vapor purge valve replaced. The check engine light came back on a few days later. Just took it back in and was told I need to have a 2nd O2 sensor replaced because they should be replaced in pairs. Quoted cost of $300 plus including a 10 percent discount. No way I will use them again.

Excellent service at the right price. Rashon was courteous, efficient and friendly, and he enhanced my oil change experience. Based on this visit, I would return to this location, and I would recommend this location to friends and family members. Update a few months later. Rashon and Ryan once again provided exemplary service with a warm and friendly touch. Another location was more convenient, but I chose to travel a little farther so I could visit this location.

I would give 0 stars if that were an option. I am on day 11 without my vehicle because of this location and I am in a very calm state of fury. I can't get any answers from anyone, I am forced to leave voicemails no matter what phone number I call (including claims services AND corporate) and I can't get anyone give me a straight answer. As such, I'm forced to come here and post a review of the consequences of trusting this place to do a simple oil change on a well-maintained vehicle. My husband had the oil changed at this location on Friday, 07/12/2024 as we did not have time to do it ourselves. The following day, we drove approximately 30 miles within Tallahassee, then hopped on I-10 westbound to head to Panama City from exit 203. While on the interstate, multiple engine lights came on and my 4Runner completely lost acceleration (i.e., the acceleration pedal no longer worked). Upon pulling over just before exit 181, I looked under the vehicle and saw two puddles of oil on the asphalt and oil was actively dripping out of the engine. We ultimately had the vehicle towed back to the Toyota dealership on Tennessee Street for diagnosis. My husband has been corresponding with a manager at Take 5 who initially was helpful to us. We were told someone from Take 5 would have to go out to Toyota after my vehicle was diagnosed but before my vehicle could be fixed to determine if the issue was in fact Take 5’s fault. Toyota determined a gasket was pinched within the oil filter housing and whoever from Take 5 agreed it was due to the oil change. We were told Take 5 would be covering the diagnostic fee ($89.95) and the price of the new oil change ($94) but Take 5 would need to file a claim with their insurance company before anything else could be done. We found out days later that the claims department had not been made aware of our issue by Take 5. My husband had to essentially file the claim on his own. When you call the claims department/office, you have to leave a voicemail. No one answers your call and you can’t talk directly to a person. My husband finally obtained a claim number, but he had to call multiple times in order to do so. Our latest update after calling yesterday, 07/22/2024, is as follows: We have to send photos of our vehicle from all four corners as well as the odometer to Unknown Entity within the claims department (I think? I actually don’t even know who I’m supposed to be sending this information to.). Now, my husband and I have to take more time off work to go obtain information for Take 5. The person who went out initially from Take 5 should have done this while they were out at the dealership. Not only are we having to do all the leg work for Take 5’s error, but we drove close to 100 miles with leaking oil which could have really damaged our engine, we are now severely inconvenienced without our second car, we’re out well over $200 (between the initial oil change and the tow service), and we are stuck, unable to do anything due to the nonchalance of Take 5. The email address on the invoice is completely incorrect, so we have no idea if anything has been emailed to us. My husband was not asked for his email address at any point and although they have the correct phone number on file, no one has used his phone number to update him at all. This is absurd. Take 5 pinched the gasket, but it’s like they are strong-arming us into becoming so frustrated that we drop the whole thing and eat another $200 to get THEIR screw-up to MY vehicle fixed. For the love of all things holy, can someone please just show an ounce of a give-a-damn and help us out here?

The technicians at this Take 5 are the best! They noticed a major problem and let me know before changing my oil. The problem required major repair work that requires the oil be drained. I am thankful for their honesty.

The Capital Circle NE location is wonderful and always takes the best care of my car! There is another location closer to my house, but I specifically go to this one because of the stellar customer service.

Super efficient & friendly service. Life savers. Warning light on my car and more than one thing needed help. Oil change with full synthetic and coolant replacement. Also had wiper blades replaced. I knew they'd been needed for awhile. Very efficient, highly competent care. My car literally was like new baby with excellent care.

They talked me into a an antifreeze change for $145 and put the wrong antifreeze in. It is supposed to be blue on an older Mercedes. Another mechanic caught it as I had to change a serpentine belt and did it the next day. I went back to Take 5 and they said they did not have the correct antifreeze and could not credit my account. I now have to go through corporate to get a refund. Super unhappy and will never come back

I recently went to Take 5 Oil Change, and the experience was quick and convenient. The staff greeted me right away and explained the services clearly without being pushy. I liked that I didn’t even have to get out of my car—the whole process was done smoothly while I waited. The technicians worked fast, checked my fluids, and topped off what was needed. They also gave me a quick inspection to make sure everything looked good, which gave me peace of mind. The prices were fair for the speed and convenience, and the customer service was professional and friendly. Overall, if you’re looking for a fast, hassle-free oil change with good customer service, Take 5 is definitely worth it.

Fast, friendly, professional. Will go back again and again. Only suggestion is they should off part timers health insurance. They work very hard and deserve to be taken care of.

I had them check my oil and it was bone dry so the leak that was supposedly fixed is not fixed. The attendant was great and filled my car with oil and checked on filter. He was very nice.

Ryan and Rashon were amazing. It wasn’t an oil change, I had an experience. Immediately after driving up, Ryan greeted me with a smile and offered me and my mother a cold bottled water exactly when we needed it. They both educated me on the status of my vehicle, and got a little suggestive sell out of me to get a new air filter. Once Rashon completed my oil change he showed me the stick that my oil was full. I live in Lake Jackson, and I will be coming here from now on because of the experience they gave me. They deserve a raise.

Wonderful service. Offered me a bottle of water and I was able to stay inside my vehicle to work with minimal disruption. Total time was just a little over 5 minutes as I had a dirty interior cabin filter needing to be changed. The washing of the front windshield was a plus!

Service was ok. Mileage reminder sticker reflected 3k mile change reminder even though synthetic has a 7k change life. When I asked I was told that the top off policy only covers 3k miles. I paid extra for the better oil. Why isn’t it covered? Also was told that before o left they needed to wash my windshield. Literally he took the squeegee and cleaned off the writing that he put on the windshield and started to direct me out without doing the whole windshield.

I have finally found my oil change place! The guys here were so helpful, so professional and they just really made getting my oil changed an enjoyable experience. I had read good comments about this location on NextDoor. I was delighted to confirm that this is a special Take 5. I will be going there from now on. Try it for yourself and you’ll see what I mean.
