Had a chance today to go to Take 5 and get my car oil changed and I have to say that the experience that Jacob and his manager Kyle and everyone else there provided was great. I’m usually hesitant where I go to get the oil changed but I have to say they treated me like a person and not just another car that stopped by. Thank you for that. Will going back again.

Friendly but make sure they have all your information correct (name, #, etc,) in the event of future services. They had my phone number and payment type correct but wrong name, wrong address, wrong type of car. Just keep a close eye.

I stopped in with my 2017 F250 Super Duty 6.7 Diesel for an oil change. My techs were Douglas & Zach. Very nice polite guys. But neither one had experience with diesels. Zach said he did but it appeared to me he did not. One day after my oil change, I see oil on my nice clean new driveway under my truck. My driveway is new and very nice so I was Not Happy! I took a look and it appears oil filter was leaking. I return on day two and Evan & Kevin took care problem. But this could have been a catastrophe! My 6.7 diesel engine is over $20k to replace! I'm leaving for 1,500 mile trip in few days. I'll keep eye on oil filter and dip stick. Will not be returning to "Take 5 Oil Change" the techs need training in diesels! Ty Scott

Since relocating to Brooksville, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how strong customer service is in this area, and my experience at Take 5 Oil Change completely lived up to that standard. From the moment I pulled in, the atmosphere was professional, welcoming, and refreshingly honest. Jacob, my technician, made the experience stand out. There was never a hint of upselling or pressure. Instead, everything was explained clearly and thoughtfully. Filters were removed, shown to me, and discussed in detail. When one was only at about half its life, he didn’t try to sell me on replacing it. He told me it looked great and that there was absolutely no need to change it yet. That level of transparency instantly builds trust. He accessed my vehicle’s factory-recommended maintenance and walked me through what was being recommended, some of which had already been completed and what hadn’t, taking the time to explain what each item was for and why it mattered. As someone who doesn’t know much about car maintenance, I was genuinely grateful for the education and patience. What made this visit exceptional was how cared for I felt. Not rushed. Not talked over. Most importantly, not treated like just another transaction. Jacob made a good experience a great one, and the entire team reflected that same care and professionalism. It’s rare to leave an oil change feeling confident, informed, and valued. I absolutely did. Customer for life.

I waited about 20 minutes after I pulled into the bay before anyone ever walked up to my window to ask me what I needed done on my vehicle. By the time they finally got started, the computer was having issues. Eventually, they brought over 13 quarts of oil and proceeded to fill my truck. I was reading through the manual while this was being performed. Once I looked up, I noticed there were three more gallons of oil sitting beside my truck now and two of them had already been dumped into my truck. At this point, I yelled out the window to find out why they are putting so much oil in my truck. At this point, 20 quarts of oil have been poured into my truck.The employee seems startled and said that he put the wrong oil in my truck so they had to drain the oil out and add the correct oil which explains why three more gallons were sitting on the ground. I’m assuming had I not been paying attention to what they were doing they would have just swept it under the rug like it never happened. These type of mistakes are unacceptable. Y’all need better quality control procedures to make sure this doesn’t happen. I paid right about $250 for an oil change that I chose to not do myself strictly out of convenience and that was obviously a mistake. I wasn’t even offered a discount or any other service to make up for this error. I was there for a total of one hour.

The guys here and great! Super helpful with great personality. I couldn’t figure out why I always paid more at other locations in the area and today I learned that this location is a corporate location and the others in Hernando county are franchises that jack up their prices and play their own bs rules sooo needless to say I only use the county line location intentionally now!

I just went here for my 1st oil change on my Gladiator and Terry and Jacob did a GREAT job. Honestly I was at this location a few years ago and the guys working then weren't so great. Lame experience. I forgot to bring in a coupon and Terry went ahead and applied one anyway. Saved a lot! I seriously recommend this place. I'll be bringing my wife's car in soon in addition to telling my sister-in-law as well.
