Really a great team doing great work. Went for a quick oil change but had some other issues going on which they helped temporarily fix, even going out for a part and coming back. Explained everything that was happening and what I needed to get fixed. Super professional and respectful the entire time

James the assistant manager fixed my bug guard and Steve let me know that I didn't even need an oil change yet so they topped off my fluids for free and saved quite a bit of money. Completely recommend this place.

I was ready to get an expensive oil change on a diesel pickup. The Take 5 employee advised that I still had 2,000 miles left before a change was needed. He typed of the oil, checked all fluid levels and have me a great discount on an air filter. Service was above and beyond. I think the tech was named Terry but can't be certain. I will gladly continue doing business with Take 5!

I explained to the manager the issues I had with a previous oil change business. He personally changed my oil. He used a new machine that extracted the old oil from the top of the engine without using the drain plug, my Audi dealer uses the same extraction method. Take 5 will be the only place my Audi will get its oil change in Abilene, Tx. VA

Extremely unsatisfied with their service. My oil filter leaked 3 times. Had to go to another take 5 and they said the first placed cross threaded the filter and possibly damaged the truck. It took over 3 hours to get an oil change and I want disconnected or reimburse for the issues. I’d like to talk to a manager or customer service

This Take 5 was the best one I've ever visited. They checked all my fluid levels, my filters, my tire pressure, wiper blades. Very impressed.

They intentionally scam people. If you call the number, it is corporate, and they give you a cheaper price and tell you to come in. The lady I called told me it would be $65 after a coupon, and I confirmed the price multiple times. I go in and the nice gentleman in the shop tells me verbatim that corporate intentionally lies and scams people in order to convince them to come in. Wow. The price point without the lie wouldn’t have been outrageous, standard really, but the fact that they felt the need to lie is what gets me. Please be aware. Lying ain’t cool. Scamming people ain’t cool. It’s fraud.

I pulled in on 12/18/25 for an oil change on a vehicle I just got. The vehicle oil status was 18 percent. When James checked my oil he noticed that the oil did not need changing at all. The former owner of the vehicle forgot to reset the oil gauge on the vehicle. He said I'm not about to charge you for something you don't need, but I will check your other fluids for you and they were good as well. This is something he did not have to do. He said any other place would of charged you for something you do not need. Oil changes are expensive, and with the holidays and bills he did save me money. I expressed my gratitude and appreciation to him and his co worker for being honest with me. Yes their are still some good people in the world and I think God wanted me to see just that. Thank you Take 5 Abilene Texas.

Store #0524 Abilene Texas. Prices were completely different than advertised. Work was done before pricing was agreed to. Different oil change plans were never discussed. They offer a "tipping option" but could explain how it works. Technicians were courteous and professional. Service was fast

The guys working there seem kind. But they are it WAY too big of a hurry. Spilled oil all over the motor. $191 for an air filter and oil change. That’s absolutely ridiculous considering FORD charges almost half that. And it’s not 10 minutes. It’s more like 20 with 0 people in line.

First time going to one of these places. Both men were very kind, they explained everything to me very clearly. My husband and I were in and out in about 20 minutes! I was very impressed! Would recommend!

Went for an oil change that according to a competitor was 1 month over due. I was told by the very friendly service tech that I didn’t need an oil change- my oil level was good and clean. He explained the type of oil I was given on last oil change was good for another 3000 miles, he even gave me a new sticker to remind me & top off my fluids at no charge. They have earned my loyalty!

On November 17, 2025, I brought my daughter’s vehicle to Take 5 Oil Change for a routine oil change. Shortly after leaving the facility, the oil pressure warning light illuminated with the message “Please decrease oil pressure.” I immediately returned to the same location and informed the technician of the issue. He claimed the oil service light simply needed to be reset, checked the dipstick on a hot engine (which provides an inaccurate reading), reset the system, and sent me on my way. The following day, the warning light and message returned. Upon properly checking the oil level myself (cold engine), I discovered the vehicle had been significantly overfilled. Driving the car in this condition was unsafe due to the risk of engine damage. I contacted the store and explained the situation, stating that the vehicle could not be driven and that Take 5 needed to arrange and pay for towing to their facility to correct the error. The assistant manager stated the store manager refused to cover towing costs. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to resolve this at the store level, I escalated the matter to Take 5’s President, Douglas Zarkin. The vehicle was eventually towed to a different Take 5 preferred location. The technician there confirmed both verbally and in writing that the engine had been overfilled by approximately one quart. Because we were not informed the vehicle would be kept overnight, my daughter missed work and my granddaughter missed scheduled therapy appointments while we arranged alternative transportation. To date, Take 5 has not refunded the cost of the original oil change. The matter was escalated to their third-party claims administrator, Fleet Response but despite repeated follow-ups, no resolution or refund has been provided. Take 5 has had ample time to make this right and has failed to do so. I have attached screenshots of all relevant correspondence with Douglas Zarkin (President), their District Manager, & Flleet Respons as supporting documentation. I understand mistakes happen but instead of taking this opportunity to rectify a serious mistake and retaining customer loyalty I’ve been placed in a que waiting for a 101.02 refund To note: at the time of service, I was showed the dipstick, however I didn't realize I would need to become the oil change professional or I would of made sure to have my readers on. Never have I experienced such incompetence at every level of management going all the way to the head of a company
