3 tries and so far the credit card machines have never worked. Basically just a building you can drive thru.

The brushes made micro scratches all over my car! Avoid! Also even if the brushes were amazing, it was still over priced.

This car wash is a waste of your money.$3.00 for 4 minutes and you don't have time to soap brush your car before it is peeping for more money save your money go somewhere else spend $25.00 and my car is white and i still could not get done cleaning my car. Rip off

I also had a run-in with an older gentleman in a gold pickup. Unsure if it was the attendant/owner or just a vigilante, but I had a highly unpleasant encounter with him. Seems to target younger women based on the other reviews; will not be returning to this establishment.

Card machine a little weird but it's the old school style car wash I grew up on. Chemicals and water pressure all worked well!

Everything worked. Access was quite easy. Instructions were clear. Change machines worked. There was a staff person on duty to answer questions. I was able to complete an exterior and interior cleaning for $10.00.

This was the closest manual car wash I could find from Chapel Hill. It was busy on Saturday morning as expected. The atmosphere was friendly and the car looked good afterwards. They have a large lot in the back where you can park and dry your car which is nice.

Really expensive. It costs 3 dollars minimum for 3 minutes initially, then 25 cents for every additional 20 seconds. Other than that, it's a self-service car wash, nothing remarkable either good or bad.

Please avoid this car wash. I am a young woman and I came through here to wash my car that had some mud on the fenders and tires. A seemingly unstable man in a gold pickup pulled in and walked up to me, claiming to be the business owner, and began yelling and shouting in my face for me to leave. He said that I could not wash my car there because there was mud on it. I had not begun washing my car yet, so I told him I would leave, but he continued to harass me. I was very scared at this point, so I quickly got in my car and left. This man clearly has no idea how to run a business and treat customers.

May favorite self service car wash I've ever been to. The water comes out nice and hot and they always have all of the options stocked with chemicals so the tire cleaner actually works and the spot free rinse filter isn't clogged to the point where it drizzles out. Will always stop by when I'm in Carrboro

I typically love this place! The soap in the foam brush is awesome, $1 vacuums and a decent level of pressure on the rinse. Today though, I was violently verbally accosted by a man who was panhandling. I typically give whatever cash I can spare but today this guy was super aggressive. He approached me, told me he worked for Homeland Security but needed some cash. I told him I'd give him whatever I had after I was done. He then yelled at me that I was refusing to help. I had my kids with me and I told him that, and asked him to back away. He then started screaming at me. I told my kids to get in the car as he screamed expletives at us. I can't imagine how hard it is to be in a position where you have to beg for money, but come on. Chapel Hill/Carrboro has got to get a hold on this.

It does exactly what it's supposed to. Note, this is a manual car wash. It supplies the hoses for water, soap, etc., and you do the labor. The machines accept quarters and cards, and there's a change machine. $2.50 gets you 4 minutes and you can switch between rinse, soap, etc whenever you please. I'd say expect to pay $5 or $7.50. You can bring your own supplies if you want to do extra detailing as well. And there's a vacuum for $1, similar to gas stations.

What a disaster, stopped to wash the mud off of my car, inserted my $3.00. ( there was no sign saying out of order)put it on Power Wash and the hose was broken where the sprayer is attached and I got an immediate bath. Was soaked from my waist to my toes before I could get it shut off. Not a good thing on day when it is only 40 degrees out. They should check the equipment daily and if it does not work post a sign so people don't waste their money and time.

I’ve been using this car wash for YEARS. I usually have a good experience (I was sad the price went up to $3 a while back but whatever, it was $2 forever.) Today, I went and there was absolutely no water pressure. I have no clue why. It was a waste of $3, that’s for sure. And yes, I was trying to use the high pressure button. I even tried switching to another and coming back to high pressure and nothing. As far as I could figure there is no number to call. I’m not sure who maintains this place.

It's a carwash! The machines work, the vacuums suck 😆 the way they should, and there is ample space to dry and detail your car.

I've used tons of these places before so I'm not unfamiliar but this one really sucks. Vacuums cost $1 for a couple minutes - I used 2 as the 1st one barely worked; 2nd one not much better. Card swiper doesn't work so quarters only; $0.25 per 20 seconds so plan on spending at least $2 of the $10+ you need just paying for the time you're inserting quarters. You're literally paying for the service of paying! I can't see this business model surviving much longer with the ever expanding options of automated full service locations that only cost a fraction more for infinitely better service. You would think the owners would step it up a bit if they wish to compete.

Hot water and the soap it's the best, other car washes don't get my truck clean just by spraying and not using the brush. It's $3 but it's worth it, my go to self service car wash. I wish they had a vending area to purchase car items, but still the best car wash.
