I never thought I’d have feelings about a car wash, but I love this place. I’ve never gotten more than a basic wash, but it’s a great value. I would wind up spending about as much in quarters trying to do it myself. Plus, it’s locally owned, and the people who work here are so nice. I really enjoy sitting out front in the fresh air while they turn my mess of a car into something presentable. Highly recommend.

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Bruce today. He graciously toured us through the wash facility and explained how Customer Satisfaction was the key factor in the business that has existed for over 25 years. We had been searching for a car wash that offers interior cleaning as a standard offering to an exterior wash. Hand cloth drying was also a nice bonus. The car looked like it was brand new once they finished with the Deluxe Wash option. Going forward, Carolina Car Wash and Detail will be worth the 20 minute drive as we begin to become regular customers. It’s great that the human touch still exists among the plethora of automated car washes!

When someone loans you a car (not just any car, but a luxury vehicle with all the bells and whistles), you don’t take it just anywhere. The green, luxurious foliage of the state of North Carolina (Cackalackee as the locals allegedly to refer to it) is balm for the eyes, but the bounteous pollen (proof positive of this land’s fertile, unceasing instincts for growth and regeneration - wonderful traits in both people and nature!) can make a right mess on the hood of a black Honda Civic with a 9.7” media display screen with available Apple CarPlay. What, pray tell, is one to do? Return the car to the gracious owner covered in the detritus that reminds us of the cycles of life and our own eventual mortality - the timeline of which is known only to the Creator? Nay. One goes to Carolina Car Wash and Detail where friendly employees greet you and gently usher your mechanical steed through the gentle, soap infused, ph balanced waters of the “car wash”. What a delight. Fantastic experience here. For the service you get, a very good price. Employees were are incredibly friendly and helpful. So nice to have businesses like this still striving for such excellence! Great work.

I have always enjoyed my visits to Carolina Car Wash - good service, good price, good people. I had always washed and vacuumed my cars since the 1950s but then decided to outsource that task along with cleaning gutters, felling large trees and raking leaves. This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced and an awful quality of wash. My husband brought my car in early this morning and paid $30 for the car to come out looking the exact same. He paid for an interior clean and vacuum and exterior wash as well. The mats were muddy and the outside of the car looked just the same as when we brought it in. When I went back to address the issue, I approached the manager working at the time, Ned, with an "excuse me" and waited for him to finish what he was doing. I pointed out the dirt all over the car and he said " it was dirty when it came in", using that as the reason for the poor wash. Isn't the purpose of the car wash to clean a car that's dirty? Didn't realize we were supposed to bring pre-cleaned cars. Don't understand how that's impeding their ability to deliver $30 worth of service. I pointed out the dirt on the hood and front of the car, and he dismissed me saying it was "paint damage", but as I began wiping it with my thumb, it started to come off. When I brought that to his attention, he cut me off, put his hand in my face, took a step towards me, and said, "You're not the customer. I'm talking to him now," referring to my husband. He offered a refund, then said "Never mind. I'm taking it back because of her attitude," claiming I was screaming at him despite me asking one simple question in a calm and collected demeanor. I told him some effort would be needed to remove the dirt but it was definitely cleanable. He took my husband inside and said that if he were a white man, I would have treated him differently - making inappropriate comments in an attempt to claim that this was racially motivated. As a Black and Puerto Rican woman with an African-American husband, never would my respectful approach have been any different. The issue at hand had nothing to do with race but was simply a matter of quality of service that we had paid in full for. He then came outside and said we were not welcome anymore and were now "trespassing" and began taking pictures of my husband and I in my car as well as my license plate. My husband asked for a business card and he said "you don't get a card" because "my attitude was a serious problem". Asking him to take accountability or rectify the poor service, I think we hurt his ego because he couldn't handle the questions and immediately took it as an attack and was unnecessarily rude and aggressive. I advise you all to take your business elsewhere or prepare to waste your money, time, and be disrespected.

This is such a great business, they’re quick, thorough, and so friendly! They also do great work in the community through charity fundraisers. They’re currently doing a special for a $2 deluxe wash if you join their text subscription, which is a steal and leaves you extra money to tip the crew!

Cannot emphasize enough how great Bruce and his crew were. I had a paint can tip over on the floor of my car (I know!!). Carolina Car Wash got right to work the second I got there. A couple hours later the car was in perfect condition, with absolutely no sign of paint. They really came through in the clutch!
