DO NOT COME HERE!!!! BEWARE!!! Washing machine malfunctions and regularly destroys customers cars. Customer service, cooperate support, etc. are all un helpful in accepting accountability for their terrible equipment and failure.

While visiting the area, I decided to stop by Surf Thru Express Car Wash for a quick drive-thru wash. Overall, it was a good experience, but there are some things to note for first-time visitors. **Pros:** The staff was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful, making the process smooth and welcoming. I opted for the "Ultimate Wash," and while it did a decent job, it’s worth mentioning that heavily caked-on dirt and grime in hard-to-reach areas didn’t completely come off. Still, my car looked much better afterward. The facility also offers plenty of parking stalls for vacuuming and detailing, which is convenient if you want to give your car some extra attention post-wash. The area felt safe and well-maintained, which is always a plus. **Cons:** One thing I didn’t realize beforehand was that you need to bring your own car care products like microfiber towels, or you have to purchase them on-site. If I had known, I would have come prepared. **Final Thoughts:** Surf Thru Express Car Wash is a reliable option if you're in Pleasanton and need a quick car wash. It’s not perfect for tackling deeply embedded dirt, but the convenience, friendly staff, and overall setup make it a place I’d return to if I were in the area again. Just remember to bring your own cleaning supplies if you plan on doing any detailing and want to save money!

Do not go here . My car was not dry, nor is it even close to being clean .. the vacuums kept coming off the tubing and don’t even reach far enough to clean your car .

Stay away from this car wash! I took my brand-new Tesla here three weeks ago and got stuck at the end of the rail. When I finally got out, my car was dented and scratched. Ever since, I’ve also noticed issues with the wheel balance, as I feel every road bump more than before. To make matters worse, they refuse to let me take my car to a Tesla-approved body shop, insisting on using their own shop—which I absolutely don’t trust. The management clearly doesn’t care about their customers, and some of the staff are downright rude. When I went to speak with the manager, instead of addressing my concerns, he was uncooperative and extremely rude. Avoid this place at all costs! Update: Surf Thru refused to give me their insurance information, they did not pick up my calls, so I had to go through my own insurance pay deductible and my monthly payment increased because of the accident. Very irresponsible business!

WARNING: Do not take any "modern" cars to this car wash. I took my 2023 Kia to this car wash. STAY AWAY. During the wash, my vehicle stopped moving. The car behind me was then repeatedly pushed into the rear of my vehicle at least our times, and it was in turn being rammed from behind by a pickup truck. The wash was shut down and I was instructed to drive through and park, which both I and the other two vehicles did. I noticed damage to my rear bumper, and the attendant came out with an incident report, which he filled out and I reviewed and signed. I was told to expect a call from their corporate offices that I never received. I went back to the car wash and they gave me a customer service number. I called that number five times over the course of 3 weeks and left five voice mails asking for a return call, again that I never received. I finally located an email to customer service, and I was finally able to talk with someone. They denied my claim saying that their car wash was not malfunctioning. They blamed my car, saying that modern cars have sensors that may result in the car being taken out of neutral, causing the car to stop. The agent cited Teslas as having this problem. I said that shouldn't there be some protection to stop a car from being rammed if something happens. He stated it was my duty to honk my horn if my car stops so that they can shut down the car wash. I asked then if they shouldn't have a warning sign citing specifics if some types of cars are known to have issues. He pointed that they have a blanket warning sign that covers risks. I asked if there was anyone I could talk to about this decision or if I could appeal, and the answer was no and no. Total BS. Never mind the trauma with being rammed by a car from behind in a car wash. STAY AWAY.

Great, clean, convenient, fast car wash, a much needed addition to Pleasanton! An affordable car wash that prioritizes sustainabilty. Kids get lollipops and dogs get dog treats! Make sure you get your free dash wipe, too. Update: This is not a fake review. The owner let us trial the car wash early. The car wash is also now open.

Went through the car wash on July 14th. My tire went flat while driving through. The railing ripped the stem off the front driver side tire. They are claiming it was preexisting. Tires are a month old, with no issues. Video cannot show preexisting conditions on a tire in a car wash. I will be pursuing action against this company. Disappointed and frustrated. I have to replace the tire with my own funds. I will receive recompensement after going up the chain of command.

Oh this is really horrible place The car wash is useless. I purchased the essential wash. There was a guy standing spraying water on the car before the car entered the washing area The car wash was worse then the water spray that guy was doing only thing is it had the self service vacuum at the end

Great car wash that cleans pretty good. The only thing is the lower sides and the rear don't get enough contact with the brushes. Besides that they also have air hoses and vacuums which I really like.

Doesn’t clean car properly with $20 wash. Said tire shine included and tires are clearly still dull with no shine. Free vacuums is nice but no point if the outside is still dirty. Will need to find another local car wash.

Terrible! I've been a member for since December, I think. I liked their drive thru and the available self-service strong vacuum and monitor power blower. My membership is for the second best wash, five washes per month, any car. Today, I decided to treat myself to the #1 wash with all the bells and whistles. OMG, the passenger side first wash brushes didn't work so the soap sat there until the wax was sprayed, and those worked, thank goodness. I never got the undercarriage wash, and and when I went back around to ask why I hadn't gotten all the bells, I was asked, "How do you know you didn't get the undercarriage wash?". Duh, IT LIFTS THE CAR A BIT. IT'S A **POWER WASH**. The best thing I was looking forward to was the wax rags at the end to dry and polish. Nope, didn't work. When I drove around, I pointed out that the hood was still wet. The attendant offered to come out and dry the car after my rewash. I have one of their blue microfiber towels. I asked, "With this one?" to which he replied "Yes, but you won't have to get out of the car." I don't care if the old management or owners or whatever didn't take care of the machines. My deal is that you're still charging me the same amount for a service(s) you are not currently offering at this time. Oh, and a few weeks ago, the tire shiners on the passenger side didn't work twice, so the attendant did the passenger side by hand using the liquid and a rag and brush. They came out pretty, so I was pleased. I was angry when I drove up the third time to tell them it still didn't work and I wanted a refund for the $25 I had paid to get the top quality service, which I didn't get. Nonchalantly, a third attendant handed me a small piece of paper with the QR code to get to the website to manage or cancel my account. None of them tried to keep my business. I sarcastically said "Thanks a lot" to which all three attendants replied, "Thank you!" That really set me off. I am a calm problem with lots of customer service experience. A lot. If there were three, yes THREE attendants, one of them could have said, "Ma'am, I was wondering if you could pull over here and we could discuss this?". Then the other customers could go through and we could have talked about my options. But no. And seriously, they only have one cash register, so only one customer could be helped at a time anyway 😂 Three attendants and no customer service skills at all. I've already put a call in to the company and they'd better offer me a refund. I wish I'd thought of taking pictures, but I didn't, and I didn't think to ask the boys to write the situation and recommended solution on my receipt. I didn't even think of it till now and I'm not going back. I just wanted a really nice car wash, you know?

If you have expensive wheels, be warned! I was nervous pulling into the wash station after seeing the metal rails that grab the driver’s side wheels and hearing multiple “clanks” throughout the wash - the metal is far too forceful on rims and damaged one of mine :/ To management - there are similar washes out there (Kaady is one) that use a conveyor belt instead of metal rails, please look into this as a better solution. For $20 the wash was okay, but this rim repair will cost me $150. Very disappointed.

The staff talked me into getting the best car wash they have for $25 and they assured me that if it rained the next few days which there was a possibility that they would give me a free car wash. The staff was entirely different and I did not receive a receipt from the staff on the day I was there. They denied me the car wash and told me if I didn’t have a receipt. There’s nothing I can do about it after explaining to them they did not give me a receipt. Very unsatisfied with Jafars Way of managing a business. Makes me want to go back to my favorite place in Livermore. Surf Thru car wash two thumbs up Jafar two thumbs down.

Don't go here! Half of the brushes on the right side don't work (don't rotate) at all. When I complained they said they know and it will be fixed soon. It's been this way for MONTHS! I finally felt I was being ripped off and I asked for at least a partial refund. they said they don't issue any refunds. They know the washing mechanisms are broken yet have no problem charging full price without any advisory of the break down. Shameful.

Great place to wash your car. A well equipped drive through and vacuum facilities! I’ve got the monthly subscription with them which costs around $39 and totally worth it! 🥰👌🚗

Came here expecting a car wash but was sadly disappointed when I went through. Soap barely got on my car seemed more like water was getting it with the wash brushes to clean it and didn't even get off the bird poop in some places and my back windshield has a spot that bare got touched (see photo) not sure if I'll return as I'm from the valley and out here for the day doing uber as my wife working here just for the day and being honest that wasn't a $20 wash just saying. On a good note loved the vacuums they had great suction as I needed

I took my truck through Surf Thru Express Car Wash, expecting a simple, safe wash. Instead, their machine ripped a chunk of paint off my vehicle—and let me be clear, my paint was in perfect condition before I went through. I immediately spoke to the manager, who acknowledged the damage and submitted a claim. I thought they would do the right thing and cover the repair. Nope. They denied my claim, leaving me stuck with the cost of fixing something their car wash caused. Now, I have to pay out of pocket to repair damage that never should have happened in the first place. This is horrible customer service and a shady way to run a business. If they’re damaging vehicles and refusing to take responsibility, who knows how many other people have had the same issue? If you care about your vehicle, stay far away from Surf Thru Express. Their wash isn’t worth the risk, and clearly, they won’t stand behind their service when things go wrong.

Genuine appreciation to supervisor Eric. This a.m I took my mommy SUV in to get a good clean and wash. He greeted me and provided exceptional customer service with the wash service while he was out in the area pressure washing the concrete floors keeping the organization clean and tidy. Thank you for keeping the landscape clean and presenting a great professional aptitude!
