Service is bad, people are rude, paid 25 dollars and car still dirty after the wash, and the owner refuse to clean it. Don't come here to waste your money.

Brought our truck here to get a full detail exterior and interior after our dog had an accident in the back seat The truck is like brand new they took their time to do everything and it’s so clean it’s like the accident never happened. Thank you!

Bait and switch. They advertise a price but there is always an add-on cost. The wash is mediocre- a drive through car wash is what you are getting. Go elsewhere for better value and service.

They did a great job today. My car was filthy from a road trip. They did a hand wash, cleaned and vacuumed the inside. I don't live nearby, but I would go back if I did.

The vacuuming job left the inside of my mercedes spotless and they were even able to remove a small dent when they were doing the full body wash. Will use again very nice service

BEWARE! If I could give ZERO stars I would. I took my immaculate jeep commander in for a detail, when I picked it up and the inside door panel was totally cracked! When I pointed this out they said it was impossible for them to have done this!!!! AND they said their insurance wouldn't cover it and for me to leave. I felt so violated!!! The owner was sooooo RUDE. The damage is $870. My insurance agent said it might be wise to call the police and file a report, I did so and police said it's a civil matter. I am hoping my insurance company can take care of this and MAKE THEM PAY! Worst place and customer service EVER

DISHONEST OWNER/MANAGER: I made advance payment for 5 Car Washes to get a discount. The advance payment of $100 was made using VISA credit card pre-covid in 2019. The owner had a note book where he staples the receipt of advance payment with my name on that page. Whenever I get a carwash, I sign in that note book on my account page. Once I have reached five car washes I make advance payment for next five car washes. I have done this deal before also with this Carwash business. I went to this business for Carwash 2-3 weeks back & asked to check how many carwashes remaining on my account with the advance payment since I hadn't come for long time to get carwash due to travel & Covid. The owner's son(manager) pulled the note book out & I & he both together checked in notebook that all five carwashes still remain. They were very busy so asked me if I can come next time for Carwash. I agreed & left. Today, I went their again & my car was washed. I asked for the note book so I can sign it for today’s wash. First owner’s son said we have no such note book & then I happened to notice the book in a tray behind the counter & I pointed at that. He pulled it out & gave it to me. I opened the note book to find my account & notice that the pages have been ripped from it. The residues of ripping were still visible. Then he asked me to pay. I said you must be kidding. I said after today's wash there are still four car washes will remain. He gave me my car keys & said he will not honor any more car washes from advance payment. This business should honor the advance payment contract & provide remaining four car washes or refund the money.

Getting a car decently washed in East Bay is obviously a dream. It won't happen here, that's for sure. This place is just way too sloppy for that. Once you get there they offer you a list of options and you choose. None of them is cheap, but you think okay, no problem, if the car comes out as shiny as new, I won't mind paying (price/value and all). Well, too bad that's not the case. We came here several times, just in case it was a certain day of the week (weekends are very busy) or day, but no. Obviously it happens all the time (judging by some other customers it wasn't just us). This weekend was the last time. They are very brusque with you and if you tell them to pay attention to some detail, be sure they won't (maybe even on purpose, who knows, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt). We came with a dirty trunk, because a flour bag exploded on our way home from the store (long story) and told them to clean that up (paid extra for it(!), because trunk cleaning is obviously not something they'd offer in any of the listed packages). Car comes back. Super fast. That can't be right, right?! I mean, I'm slow, but it usually takes at least an hour to clean it properly. We got it back in 15min. It was sloppily vacuumed (they didn't even vacuum the back seats, not to mention under the seats), the dash was sprayed with something that stuck to it for days later, don't get me started on the windscreen. It wasn't visible at first, but when looked at it from the right angle, you could see the cloth and fingerprints. Okay, let's hope at least the trunk is now flour free. Nope. No such luck. Still all there, still all white. We told them and they became grumpy and took a cloth and did something halfheartedly ("Here. Done. Couldn't you do that at home on your own?!".... Eeerr.. why did I come here and pay you for it then?!). Trunk was still white. No, they wouldn't return the money. That was the end of California Shine for us. I suggest you do it on your own, at home, it will be more time consuming, but better. Or try to find a decent car wash (which, to me it seems, is a mission impossible around here). We're definitely not coming back here.

Brought it down here to get a full car detailing and they’ve done the best job out of any car wash I’ve ever brought my truck to. My truck was very dirty on the inside and when I got it back it was spotless. I Would reccomend this to anybody looking to get a high quality wash. They put an unreal amount of effort in and pay a lot of attention to detail. Definitely will be back soon.

Great work, brought in my C7 for an exterior wash after the rainy weather, i was very happy with the result, i also had adhesive residue on my windshield from a sticker that i was not expecting them to remove, told them not to worry about it & they went ahead and cleared that out for me anyway, reasonable pricing as well, saved me time for sure, ill be coming back when its needed again!

Wow!! California Shine does an absolutely amazing job! I took my 2000 VW New Beetle in to Felipe, not knowing what to expect as the car is old - well taken care of, but still....I got the car back about 6 hours later, and it looked like new, inside and out. Everything from the wheels, to the exterior paint, to the floor mats, the seats, the dashboard -- all looks fabulous. I highly recommend California Shine!

Whatever you do, don’t trust them to do a buff and wax first off. Giving one star because they continuously tried to overcharge me. This was the last time because even after pointing it out they still charged me for a bigger car than I have.I pointed out there was sap on the car one time and they just left it, told them to get it off before I left because it was the main reason I paid to have them wash it. I pay to have it had washed to avoid water makes but there’s always water marks. Between the over charging, the water marks, and sometimes it still being dirty… enough is enough. I gave them benefit of the doubt the last few washes but I’m officially done. Not worth arguing with them for overcharging me on a bad car wash.
