SpeedWash Car Wash in St Matthews is incredible. The vacuums are powerful. The only thing to watch is loose articles getting pulled in that’s how strong they are. The car wash itself has my car looking brand new every time. Titus is the manager and went out of his way to show me their new car mat cleaner recently. Another bonus! Highly recommend.

Vacuums work well for now, I assume because everything is new. Doesn't really matter what level of wash you pay for and get your car will come out looking the same. I tried all levels and every time the wash was finished and the car was dry you could see the same spots that were missed. Cancelling the membership is a NIGHTMARE! After the promotional period ended, I ended up being charged $41.95/month vs. the $13.95/month price which I am positive I stated I wanted when signing up.

One of the thing I like about the car wash is that they offer a touchless wash if you ask. But the past 2 times ive been to one of their locations they acted like they understood what I said and didn't press the button for it. Train your people please

I loved Speedwash UNTIL $4,800 damage to the right side of my car bumper to bumper. Clearly, there was debris in the brushes that damaged my car. I went to the location and employee took pictures and said the manager would call. I am still waiting to hear back. I recommend a touchless car wash.

Decent car wash with free vacuums and mat cleaning machines. $15 and $22 is the price for car wash but a sign posted states it was going up March 1, 2025. They don’t spray off the front for bugs before your car enters and on one occasion I still had many on my front bumper so ran it through again. On the most recent visit the rotating cloth roller at the drying end was not working properly. It started to come down only after passing the windshield but then stopped and went up. Part of my car was not completely dry. The wash did remove the road salt from recent snows from the bottom of the car which is why I went there.

Great Vacuums -- Price seems to increase every time you go there. Quality of the wash has gone down -- the brushes miss spots as they close in on the car.

I received a carwash on 5/26/25. This location was excellent when it first opened. I was really disappointed with the wash. The soap doesn't work properly. I brought it to the supervisor attention. I went through the wash a second time. The second time was as bad as the first time. She informed me that they had problems with the soap dispenser and she said it was fixed. It is not fixed. There is mostly water coming down hardly any soap. This location was really good when it first opened but now it has gone to trash.

This place used to be alright and it still is usually crowded on the weekends, but it is old and worn down. The equipment in the self wash bays don't work and the auto wash... I went through twice and the whole back as well as the lower third stayed dirty

Under no circumstances go to this location my 16-year-old Sacred Heart student daughter got bamboozled by a quick five dollar car wash. They made her sign something. She thought it was for the five dollars, but they hit your credit card monthly reoccurring. She didn’t read the small language she didn’t even understand that she’s 16 Kevin Cosby the operations manager sent me a PDF and told me tough luck.

Absolutely infuriating experience – AVOID THIS PLACE I pulled into SpeedWash for a car wash and ended up trapped in their automated tunnel for a full 20 minutes with very little movement, a spray of something on my vehicle, and most importantly, zero employees anywhere in sight. There’s no emergency button , no intercom, no attendant walking the line – nothing. I couldn’t even back out or pull forward because the track locks your wheels in place and there are cars in front of me and behind me. Twenty minutes of pure panic staring at still brushes thinking I was going to be stuck there all day. The system randomly come back on a would move my car a few inches at a time. When I finally got out of the tunnel, the chain was up preventing me from going to the office to voice my concerns. When I arrived at my residence, I realized it had a dry substance on it (possibly soap) from the car wash. After paying $23.99 for this "wash", my husband had to take it to another car wash and pay more to have that substance removed from our vehicle. I’ll be hand-washing my car in the driveway from now on before I ever come back here. Zero stars if I could.

My first time experiencing this space, I was very impressed! I liked the opportunity to clean my car’s interior before sitting in the AC to go through the actual wash. Vacuums had good suction and there were 3 options for different sprays you could use on your vehicle. Will return!

The one in St. Matthews is the best I think. I frequent this one almost daily. Never seen any machine breakdowns. Vacuums work well. Employees are friendly. I just wish they would put in an "All Weather Mat" cleaning station. A couple of hangers on the back fence, buckets and brushes and a rinsing hose would be perfect.
