Don’t ever come here to get your vehicle washed. I understand that people have a job to do and quotas need to be hit. But when I have to tell a sales rep SIX TIMES that I do not want a membership, you have crossed a line. Not only was I on the phone, but I had two small children in the back, and we needed to be quick which I stated at the beginning of the sales pitch. I spent more time listening to the pitch than I did getting my truck washed.

Shine Shop used to be a great place to wash at, but ever since they got bought out it hasn’t been the same. I came here a few months back to buy a single wash. I kept being pressured into getting a membership (which I said no to multiple times). After the sales guy gave up wirh that he let me pay. As I grabbed my card I noticed him out of the corner of my eye tap the “buy membership” button on the screen of the payment kiosk, in which I told him again I didn’t want a membership. This could’ve gone in a different direction had I not noticed him sneak the membership option thinking I wouldn’t see him doing so. I do not recommend coming here.

I used your wash for the first time today and when I pulled up the attendant shared with me the different wash options. Also told me about the monthly membership. Said I was not interested in the membership and just wanted to do the express wash today. He explained the membership options again and I said no thank you. He asked me why I wasn't interested in the membership and I said I'm just not interested today. Told me more about the membership and the benefits of having it. For the third or fourth time I said no thank you very politely. He then told me the express wash would not clean my car and that I should upgrade to the next level. Politely said no thank you and I just wanted to do the express wash. He asked me why I didn't want to upgrade because the one I was choosing would not clean my car. I politely said that I just wanted to do the express wash while holding out my card to pay for it. For the third time he asked why I didn't want to upgrade because the one I was choosing would not clean my car. (We have a 2025 vehicle that was just a little dirty, by the way). With the gate down in front of me and another car behind me and the attendant not letting me choose the wash I wanted, I wasn't sure what else to do. Asked if there was a way for me to leave since he wasn't letting me buy the wash that I wanted. He seemed surprised and asked if there was a problem. I told him I just wanted to buy the wash that I wanted and I wanted to know how to do that. He said he can take my payment here but again, wanted to still let me know that the express wash would not get my car as clean as I wanted. I'm not sure what finally changed but he eventually agreed to take my card so that I could pay. Of course the card that I gave him did not work so I had to give him another one and he finally returned it to me and said thank you. This whole interaction took several minutes. I've truly never been in such a high pressured sales position like that before over a stupid car wash. If others have a better experience then that's great but there's no way that I could ever go there again or recommend this place simply because of the pressured sales tactics that were used and truly feeling like I was stuck and not able to leave.

Shine Shop car wash offers free detailing products and great customer service. Our family prefers this car wash and has multiple cars registered to our account. It’s conveniently located and Staff member Angel is always extremely helpful when we roll through.

I honestly hate that I even have to give this place a 1 star. I went through this place yesterday and when I say I was pressured into a membership I mean it. I was ridiculous how many times I said no thank and was still being asked to get a membership. I ended up going with a membership just so he would leave me alone and let me get my car washed. He said I can call or come by and cancel my membership anytime within the next 7 days. I have been trying to call this place all day to cancel my membership and it keeps telling me due to high call volume they are not accepting calls at this time. ALL DAY it’s been saying that!! So now I’m going to have to go out of my way today to go there and cancel this membership I didn’t want in the first place. Also the car wash itself wasn’t all that great. Left smudges on my windows. I went to use the free vacuums and those didn’t work hardly at all. I will not come back to this place

Stay away from this place. First off, your car will get much cleaner at Tommy's or Mister Car Wash. Mine had tons of spots on it after going through here and some parts of the car still had dirt like it hadn't even been touched there. My car wasn't even that dirty so this makes no sense. I wish I had taken a picture. Secondly, they are constantly giving away "free" car washes but then pressure you into buying a membership or even give you one for free for a month when you don't want one. But then you are stuck with it unless you call a number to cancel it. You can't even cancel it online or on your own which is not typical with any other car wash memberships. Also you have to cancel it 7 days in advance or they charge you for the next month. So this is definitely how they make their money. Hoping that they will make this right and cancel my membership without charging me and I can update this review to say they have good customer service. But from reading the other reviews I don't think that will happen. Again, just not a good business model if you want to keep customers.

Deceptive sales practices and difficult to cancel. Was told when I stopped in to get a carwash that 2 months membership would be a just a little more than a carwash. I was charged the price each month. When I attempted to cancel the membership online the option was not there. The phone call was a 30 minute wait and he would not let me continue service or prorate even though I paid for the month.

When I went up to pay they tried to upsell me several times after I said no to a subscription and then when I tried to get the base level one time carwash, the sales guy told me the base level wash would still leave my car “pretty dirty”. If the wash isn’t even effective then why would I want a subscription?? It was $13 and it really did leave my car kind of dirty. Never going back.

Brought my truck in extra dirty today and they took extra time to help spray it down before going into the wash. They even had a second person come out to help. They definitely went above and beyond and I appreciate that. I also enjoy they have rags and cleaning supplies as well as you can do touch-less if you want. Strongly recommend a membership here.

When I pulled up for my wash there was 3 employees just standing inside no one came outside to make sure I got through. I came threw a 2nd time because I had bugs all over my car still. same thing sat there until they noticed me they still didn’t come out. they finally came out but the girl said she had to do a “rewash” since I just came threw so I don’t know what that was about. I also had asked for touchless and the girl said she would let the person know and she didn’t. I had to tell the person to do the touchless option. Overall customer service is awful. Wash is as awful as the customer service if not worse.

I really wanted to like this car wash but for 21$ and some change I would expect it to at least get the bugs off my windshield. They have a person standing out front offering a free wash but that wasn’t brought up. I’m sure you have to join, which is not beneficial. Definitely won’t be going back. Not sure how well you’ll be able to see all the bug guts but there is a lot.

I paid over $40 for my month membership thinking that it would be a good idea but the car wash itself was very quick and it left my mirrors muggy and on my drive home which is literally down the road, It froze over so I had to clean them myself. I specifically asked for the car wash to be touchless as my car is new from the dealership and I wanted an under body wash because I didn’t want the salt and snow to sit to then cause rust. and it didn’t even dry my car completely so all the wet spots on my car froze as I was driving home. Truly disappointed with my experience.

For $20, I expected the back of my car to come out cleaner, especially since it wasn't even very dirty to start with. The vacuum hose in the stall I chose didn't have enough suction to pull anything off my carpet, and they didn't have a crevice tool or air sprayer as advertised. I also didn't appreciate the hard sales tactics at the point of purchase. Ihad to say no four times to purchasing a membership. Annoying. That said, I appreciate the dash wipe provided before pulling into the car wash. I won't be back.

I wish I would have read reviews prior to coming here, but we chose here for convenience since it was right next to our eye doctor. I hate having an attendant “to help” choose a car wash - it’s a car wash, I don’t need help choosing anything. Like other comments, they tried selling me a membership. Told them we didn’t live here and I lived 40 minutes away; proceeded to tell me the locations and I was like yup those are all the wrong ways from me. All I wanted was a basic wash the gravel off so I chose the basic because I don’t trust car washes anymore. It didn’t even clean the back of my car. Won’t be returning to any of these car washes.

I signed up for a car wash membership a month ago with a $10/month promo—seemed fine at the time. A week before my renewal date (as clearly stated on the receipt), I tried to cancel. I called twice, waited on hold for over 10 minutes each time with no answer. So I went in person. The employee told me to just drive through the wash and they'd "take care of the cancellation." At no point was I told I had to physically come inside to cancel. Fast forward—I get charged anyway. When I went back in to ask why, I was told “everyone is trained to tell customers to come inside to cancel.” Well, clearly that didn’t happen. If I’d been told that, I absolutely would have. Now they say they’ll “review the cameras” to check what was said and connect with the manager to see how he’d like to handle it. Not holding my breath for a refund. On top of the customer service mess, the car wash itself is mediocre at best—bird poop still on my windshield after the wash. There are better and cheaper options nearby (like Tommy’s). Definitely not recommending or returning
