The pumps are rigged to keep increasing even though there is no gas being dispensed. They don't stop running up the total until you put the handle back on the pump. Filed a complaint with weights & measures.

I've never had any issues here. Deduction of the star is for the 8-12¢ price difference from the Shell on the other side of the freeway. Employees are always nice and this location does offer propane refills.

Today Nov 2 at 6:20 p.m., we went to pump gas my son used his Debit card, which got declined. So when he checked his bank account Shell charged $120 worth of gas charged. I went to complain to the attendant and said he couldn't do anything about it. He looked very nervous when talking. This gas station is Shady. Be careful.

Bought used tires for my car, 5 days later one of them is flat so I take it back in and he tells me he will not give my money back. This place is shady and does illegal activity, they accepted cash and said they won't give reciept because it's good deal. Obviously they aren't reporting all their income. Also the manager cussed me out and called me a liar and said I came months ago which also isn't true, worst customer service I've experienced by far. I guess it's just what you can expect from a shell station. I would recommend avoiding this place if your looking for good deals on used tires because they will likely not give u a refund and your going to deal with it going flat.

Tried using the self check out machine to only find out that the receipt printer is out of service. To which I tell the attendant that they should put out a sign saying no receipts. Then asked at another register after waiting for some time, just to find out I am out of luck. 🤔 I could be wrong but not providing proof of purchase, is plain not good business practice.

I need help, I went in on Saturday 9/7/2024 around 3pm. I came in on a 26' box truck to fuel up on diesel. I put 50$ on pump 6 and did not get a receipt. I need to turn in the receipt and have not been able to reach anyone by phone, all I get is a fax machine. Is there anyway to send me a copy via email or text of the receipt from this day?

I walked in and looked at the first row of items at a distance and within 10 seconds of entering the store, the woman behind the counter told me if I didn't leave, that she would call the police. I told her to go ahead, and she did. 2 police cruisers came within 2 minutes or so, I exited the store and approached them, they asked to search me, I gave them permission , they patted me down and told me to be on my way. I got into my car and went to the station across the street, filled my tank and bought things from their store like I was intending to at the soup notsee station that just booted me. Never in my life have I been treated like that. The experience was more or less so ridiculous, I didn't even give a hoot.

Put gas and my gauge did not move at all, brought it up to the attendant and he said there was nothing he can do because on his end it showed gas was pumped. Had to go to another gas station to refuel.

Best place to get tires. Used tires are brand new, basically, and brand new ones are super cheap. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Also full service liquor store open late. Favorite gas station ever.

A few days ago, I refueled at this gas station and paid with a card. I was charged about twenty dollars more than what I had actually spent. To get my money back, I approached the cashier and requested a receipt. The cashier assured me that the remainder of my money would automatically be refunded to my bank account and refused to give me a receipt. Now, about two weeks have passed, and I still haven't received my money back. I returned to the station and the same man rudely told me to leave if I didn't have a receipt. I wanted to share this experience to warn others to be careful of possible scams at this location.

The guy inside the mart was so rude and dismissive, totally unprovoked decided to use his high horse attitude to not sell me popcorn😂 and told me to leave I was just left so confused and dumbfounded. I am not one to ever be in a scene or cause one. Literally told me to go elsewhere and everything I was left confused and speechless

Sunday car wash at shell should be easy and quick, 8.24.25@ 0730. I went thru it twice, no wash solution or soap foam. I went with to ask. She does not anything about wash machine and accused that I was the cause of it and I am only person to complain. I called the phone # later; it was fax #. I just want to let her know about possible problem. I walked out with frustration.

My experience at this location was by far the worst customer service experiences imaginable. I needed propane and I entered the store and waited behind two other customers loaded with snacks in front of an empty counter. After a five minute wait, ( no cashier anywhere) I noticed a lone employee eating snacks and watching videos on her phone near the front of the store. I approached her requesting assistance and she waved me away dismissively by pointing towards the empty register. After another five minutes of waiting with no assistance, the other customers used the self checkout and exited. Other customers entered and exited at this time with no interaction with employees and I elected to do the same ( with no propane)

This place billed me $37 for 7.7 gallons. However, none of the gas actually went into my tank. When I got in the car, after checking to see how much had been pumped, The gauge had not moved. It was still close to empty. I ran out about 80 mi later in a Prius that gets 50 mi to the gallon. Fortunately I was not in an accident. However, since I double checked and my credit card showed that I was billed for gas, and the Prius said hybrid system error when it ran out of gas, I had to spend a couple hundred bucks on a diagnostic at the Toyota dealership in Northridge and the better part of two days taking trains and buses and Ubers all over Southern California dealing with getting the car towed and then going to pick it up. It literally never occurred to me that I could think I pumped 7 gallons of gas and my tank and not get any. I thought it was a gauge error. It is a $400 or so lesson in assumptions and trust. I can't even call the place to ask for a refund, I just get a fax machine from their number on Google. I took this picture at the time to show how hard it was to get in and out of the station and back onto the 5 North. I wouldn't buy gas here again if it were to get back over from the other side of the River Styx

Do not stop here for #2 Diesel as this station is only selling bio renewable crap. Shell needs to have a clear requirement to identify what specific type of diesel fuel is being sold at any advertise shell location. This information must be available on Google maps or the individual stations webpage/landing page Too much time is wasted showing up to these stations only to find out it’s not real # 2 diesel

During a recent visit, I was charged full price for an item clearly marked as $1.00 in the cooler. When I pointed out the discrepancy, the cashier responded, “That’s the price the machine charged.” I directed his attention to the cooler and the marked price of $1.00. At first, he denied that the item was labeled at that price, then stated that I “had to read the fine print.” When I asked what fine print he was referring to, his tone became rude and condescending, as though I should already know. He pointed toward the cooler door, and when I asked him to show me specifically, he grew visibly irritated and walked over to the cooler. He pointed to a small sign and told me to read it. Since I did not have my glasses with me, I asked him to explain what it said. He replied that it was a “two-for-one” offer—meaning one item must be purchased at regular price before the second item is charged at a dollar. I told him that, rather than respond in a hostile tone over a pricing discrepancy, he should have simply explained the promotion from the outset. His dismissive and argumentative attitude suggested either a lack of customer-service training or unwillingness to engage respectfully with customers. I also mentioned that I had purchased the same product earlier in the day and another clerk had confirmed the price as $1.00, with no mention of a two-for-one restriction. As I was leaving, I noted that most customers would not reasonably read small fine print on a cooler door for an item clearly marked as a dollar. At that point, the cashier abruptly told me to leave the store or he would call the police—an extreme and unwarranted reaction to a polite inquiry. This behavior was wholly unprofessional and inconsistent with Shell’s customer service standards. It reflects poorly on the brand and undermines the otherwise courteous reputation of the other staff at this location. This was an exchange that should have happened in two seconds, minus any drama and just goes to show that one incompetent employee can harm the entire store. It was apparent from the get go that the store clerk simply didn't want to engage the customer at any level other than ringing up an item. That tells me that clerk was either lazy and couldn't be bothered or incompetent or both. Either way, this employee should know that they cannot simply throw a tantrum and wave the customer off because of product pricing. He is simply an employee working the counter, and his job is customer service not verbal diarrhea when managers and supervisors aren't around. Someone should remind this cashier that he is not an owner, investor, location manager or supervisor. He is a customer service representative and cashier, end of story and this is coming from a former gas station employee.
