The employee that was working tonight was very rude. There was a sign posted they were closed from 11 to 11:30. I was there right at 11pm. I had a flat spare tire and no change only cash and he would not give me change for the air machine. So I had to drive on my flat down to circle k and when I put air in it after that long drive it blew on me. So now I'm stranded.

This is an awesome gas station with the exception of its location. It's damn near impossible to get out On to 280 At basically any time of the day. It's also situated on a hill so when cars fly by you never know if you're gonna get hit because you can't see them coming. But it's definitely very well stocked and has Myriad options. Their slushie machine is always working, And they always have fresh coffee made. The coffee is not great though but can you really ever say coffee is great at a gas station. The place is almost always busy which is a problem because there's no place to wait on a pump and maneuvering around is dangerous because of the lack of space.

This gas station is the business. The cashier was patient and kind to me as I fumbled to use the reward program. Winn Dixie card holders get a 5¢ per gallon discount at Shell. He informed me Mercury was in retrograde which didn't affect how well the store was kept. The windshield washer by the pump was full with blue soapy water that didn't stink and they had paper towels. I was impressed and appreciate those kinds of things.

They advertise as open 24 hours but they close nightly, and sometimes they lock the doors while you're inside! They also fence off the bathrooms all the time with tape and cardboard boxes and signs and you can't get to the Amazon lockers! This is more often than not. Very strange and inconvenient. Employees aren't very friendly.

Horrible place in a nice area. As another commenter here mentioned, the employees here take long breaks and make you wait excessive times for no reason. They even close and lock the store even tonight it says 24 hours open. DO NOT GO HERE! It has become a hoodie hangout, like some gas stations are becoming in Birmingham. Police are starting to crack down on known gathering places for thuggery, but they haven't gotten to this one yet. This is the absolute worst gas station on 280 from Pelham all the way to up to 31! I avoid ALL Shell stations as they tend to hire really rude employees and they don't keep the stores clean, and tend to attract drug activity more than other locations.

Used to go here all the time was a great store now it's terrible. The cashier in the afternoon makes you wait constantly while he does his own personal stuff in the parking lot. Never apologizes it's like you're supposed to wait. I won't be going back I'll run out of gas first

Not great. Great location but so many issues. First, they block off the bathroom, with yellow caution tape and cardboard and boxes and signs, so that you cannot get to the Amazon locker! This is not sometimes, it's always! Also they are supposed to be 24 hours but they decided to close every night from 11 to midnight, so people who don't know that will be upset. It is not listed in Google maps. The place is not kept up and the employees aren't friendly.

Gas station attendant refused to allow me to get change for the air machine for a flat tire. I simply asked "does the air machine work? I have a flat tire." He replied "You parked in front of it, what did it look like?" I was confused since it seemed like a common sense question. When I tried to pay for an additional item with cash so he could open the register for quarters in order to use the air machine, he took the bottle of water off the counter and refused to sell it to me. This was after I had already paid $50 in cash for gas. When I questioned his hostility, he kicked me out of the store, and told me to leave the premises, regardless of my situation. When I was outside asking if anyone would exchange my dollar bills for quarters, he beat on the glass and yelled at me to leave. A kindly nurse in the parking lot was willing to exchange my dollar bills for quarters to keep me out of a tight spot. I filled my tires quickly and left. This is unlikely to keep anyone from using this gas station, but I wanted to put it out there. This attendant has a beard and is always wearing a shell jacket, and works after 11:30 PM. Open late with a relatively safe feeling, well lit parking lot. The clerk was polite and welcoming, bathrooms acceptably tidied and stocked for a road side gas station. I’d return if I needed to stop nearby again.

The girl at the front today at 4:55pm rung up 3 items for me no bag just have a good day and she was seeming to maybe be having a bad day or experienced a bad cx. Horrible experience. But people have to be held accountable. May God bless her. Peace and blessings.

Pump 5 gas charged me & $.45. All lines on display when trying to start pumping and did not pump. Cashier refused to refund. Rudely said I have to make a sign. I don't just have one here.

In fact not open 24 hours the super rude attendee wouldn’t even talk to me. Needed to get back to the hospital for my pregnant wife giving birth and he wouldn’t help saying they are closed. Wouldn’t even let me pay at the pump. Atleast 15 other cars came and left trying to get gas.

Poor customer service. The nozzle wasn’t working, and when I went into the store, I was told to hang it up and pull to the next pump. No offer to come out and help. I was just told it should be working. Gone are the days of the family run gas station. Too bad.

Convenient to 459, but right next to a U-Haul place. When I was there in July 2025, at least 4 U-Haul trucks at the pumps making for tight maneuvering. Priced lower, though, than nearby C-Stores.
