The new younger black girl that works the night shift thrives on antagonizing customers and starting issues with people while they are in line. She is extremely rude and unprofessional, and only wanted to help a customer that wanted to pick a fight with another customer to feed on drama. My significant other had a similar experience witnessing this behavior from her last week. The best employees that worked at the Timberlake location during the night shift suddenly transferred to a new location and provided feedback that they were tired of the drama at the Timberlake Sheetz. Nobody deserves to endure ridicule, bullying or harassment by a store employee, especially unprovoked. We used to love this location, but we unfortunately will move our business to the other Sheetz where the employees are professional, courteous and well-trained.

I’ve been going to Sheetz since the first one open in Lynchburg. I saw the reviews about the new one on Timberlake Rd. I needed air for my tires not food so I thought I’d be fine. What a complete mess of a store. I was there around 5pm on a Tuesday to put air in my tires. There was a small line but not bad. It took me an hour messing with my tires trying to put air in them. I finally went inside to get a manager. There was only 2 people working plus a manager. I went to the manager and asked for help. It took him 20 minutes to come outside and when he finally did I was told that the air machine had been broke but was fixed earlier that day. The air in my SUV tires were around 20-25 by the time the manager told me that the machine must not have been fixed nor did he put anything on the pump indicating that the machine is out of order. Let’s not forget the 5 cars waiting behind me. He went to the cars to let them know the air machine wasn’t working AGAIN! Frankly I don’t believe this air pump was fixed the same day because every Sheetz I’ve ever been to has been fine. The Timberlake Sheetz is a place I’ll never be back to. How can a new Sheetz open and be a complete Failure?

The worst Sheetz I have been to in VA. It’s clear the management can’t hold on to any of their decent employees. Came in last night, ordered food for my wife and myself. Proceeded to wait 40 (!!!!!!) minutes for my order. The meatball sub tasted old, like they had not properly rotated the meatballs and they had been sitting in the heat for god knows how long. I woke up feeling sick in the morning, to the surprise of no one. 0/10

I have been to many Sheetz stores in Virginia and NC. This is one of the filthiest. There is trash everywhere, inside and out. The shelves are all a mess. Management needs to be changed. I don’t know if Sheetz stores are franchises or corporate owned. My guess is that they are franchises as a corporate owned store would not be so disgusting. I would advise anyone to go to either of the Sheetz stores on Wards Rd. They seem to be able to keep them clean. One star is one too many. I would not dare order food there.

Disappointed is an understatement. To purchase a sampler twice this week from 2 different stores and end up with the same result. At the first store I checked ot and returned it until it was fixed. Tonight after driving all day I wanted to wait until I got home. Never again, I will check before I leave the store. Food look half eaten and the cup of fries was half full. For the amount of money paid for these items, this should have been a lot better.

I ordered on the app to pick it up on my way home from work. I chose to pick it up in the drive thru because I thought that would be faster but I sat at the drive thru intercom for almost 10 minutes after speaking SEVERAL times notifying employees I was there to get my order. I finally gave up and went inside and an employee didn't even speak to me, just pointed at the pick up counter after throwing her hands up at me. The bag my food was in was SOAKED and ripped open as soon as I got home and spilled my food and sauces EVERYWHERE.

Poorly staffed. Always a long line, but the employees always seem high-spirited. This is a newer Sheetz and I’m unsure what the issue is. Air machine never seems to work either. I’d recommend visiting another local Sheetz or passing this gas station for another.

I have been a regular at Sheetz and this location, especially for years, making numerous trips a week for food and gas, but this location has been on the decline. On my most recent visit, I waited over 40 minutes for the wrong order. No self checkout for months, with no signs of returning. They have had a shattered glass door for nearly a month, with shards of glass all around it. This location has gone downhill severely and has lost all Sheetzs my business moving forward. I recommend the newly opened 7/11 down the road.

My 2nd time trying to order a taco salad from here and they messed it up again. I paid extra chili and it's barely any in it, added tomatoes and peppers and onions and i didn't request it. A complete was of money. Ill never order from here again.

You know i work in customer service and by far this location has poor customer service I get it that sometimes we are short staff but despite being short or not does not matter you get what you want unless the item is out of stock. See after work my wife and myself always stop by this people's sheetz cuz it's just right down the road from our work so we go threw the drive threw order few things and like alway my babes frozen hot chocolate two mt dew and a pack of cigarettes to be greeted the window rude as hell and the lady with the boot on her leg yelling next time you should come inside to order it would be faster cuz last person waited 45 minutes. I was like what the hell. Well fast forward to this morning I went inside cuz drive threw was closed off i went to oder my bades frozen hot chocolate drank and thre other items come to the checkout for the employee to tell me cuz it's only two of them working they are not making none of the shakes. I don't know how yall run thus type of business I k ow it does not matter how short Staff we are we make what ever that is on the minute u less we are out of stock. The worst customer service by far and the red head skinny boy in the kitchen laughing as I was being told that. Won't be going back to that place of business. If you don't want to work let someone else work n you stay at home oh and yeah they was not busy either they had one person waiting At the time

This is probably the 10th time I’ve ordered several items at Sheetz, to get home and realize they only gave me 1 item. Yet I paid for three items? At this point you guys are just stealing from people. People who don’t have an extra half hour to go back to where they just got food from and complain, just to get what I had already rightfully paid for in the first place. This is absurd enough to the point where I will not go to sheetz for anything other than gas moving forward.

The fizz machine is in need of repair. Enough Band-Aid fixes. There is something wrong with it just about every other week. The far right side nozzle continually drips, causing the taste of the soda to be off. This area is also continually less than ideal when it comes to sanitation.

Went tonight to pump 3 to get gas. There was an issue and the pump didn’t register the payment . So I paid twice . I was upset but what made that all go away was the AMAZING employees inside . This problem has happened recently at another location and they kinda just blew it off and didn’t care. Not here! I talked to 3 employees 2 males 1 female and felt nothing but respect and care . Will be back . Issue isn’t resolved yet but I just know after tonight it will be easier than the other sheetz. I hope the gm see this because even in an upsetting event your employees was amazing!!!!! 10/10 for them.

Whoever's working there tonight is doing a horrible job. This is how my poppers came?? Not only that, ordered two chicken tender sliders, the sliders taste like they've sat in the warmer FOR HOURS. Stale and tough to chew. The only decent thing I ordered was the bratwurst but I ordered it with nacho cheese and they put it on the top and then wrapped it so by the time I opened it, basically all of it stuck to the wrapper. Disgusting. I was a supervisor at Sheetz and this is pretty pathetic.

I was getting food and drink, hot food at that. Floors were gross, coffee spilled and not cleaned up, actual food wrappers on the ground as you enter the establishment. Skeptical, I went to get my food amd beverage. I grab my order and turn for the door. An associate begins to tell me I didn't pay for my food. As I literally stood there with receipt in hand, on the app. I was immediately offended and asked for the manager. The manager sided with the ignorance of her worker. I was livid, to say the least. Not until I stated I was definitely leaving with what i purchased and if anyone had an issue they could dial 911.... Did they try to apologise and pretend it was a miscommunication. Horrible managment, very poor customer service. Not to mention, I go back a day later, completely different staff. An associate starts an argument about sheetz never giving out free ice from the fountain drink ice maker... Ive been to sheetz in VA amd NC, never once was I told "pay fothe ie or pour it in the machine". Obviously, the people training the individuals here; are NOT doing their job. Clearly managment doesnt care if sales go down and customers are unsatisfied with ever part of the experience there. Updated 10/19/23 Photos are the update. After calling the 1-800 number, now they don't even refill the coffee or coffee supplies. Sad that people are getting paid, not to work. Yet they refuse to hire people who will.

Love Sheetz!!! This place (on Timberlake Rd) is fast and the food is fresh and hot!!! I've ordered inside and online and both have been awesome. Also, the customer service is great!!!
