I believe the manager Jake at the deli was working that help me he did a phenomenal job. Also told me about the sauces on the side of the shelf for 85¢ I believe. So now I am their every cheap chicken Monday I seen the sign outside , that’s what got me to go through the door so I left a review.

5th Ave store has difficulty getting there sales in the safeway app. Very frustrating when they show a digital sale but when it is looked up in the Safeway app it says no deals . So then you have to take a pic and show it to the clerk.

Jake did a great job I saw him outside putting up signs for cheap chicken Monday he directed me and gave me a reference of sausages to use. He did a phenomenal job. I'll definitely be there every Monday. Best chicken in town. I've had chicken from other Safeway's but this one is the one.

My review is for May 17, 2025 I went in for a cake very last minute after a busy day. I had about 20 minutes until the store closed but Jose still managed to have time to go to the Bakery and box me up a cake. It was Very busy and the weekend. On my way out I noticed Jose running and getting carts. Jose Thank You so much, I hope you see this and know that your hard work is noticed. We appreciate you!

Always my favorite of the Safeway's here in Yakima to shop at. The self check assistant was absolutely a huge help this morning as my soda was not ringing up properly. He had ZERO attitude about checking the ad to confirm I had the right stuff and was just very very nice about the whole thing. Great interaction and would love to give Him a shout out by name, unfortunately I didn't get a good look at his nametag.

They had expired food (in the fresh food section). I visited on November 21st and they were selling chicken sandwiches and other items that were to be sold by November 17th.

Why is the gas station doors locked at 9:40 AM on a Saturday. The gas station is open and I see a man sitting down and an employee at the register. So inconvenient! Safeway is normally on point. Totally disappointed. I just need to get my change after pumping gas. Why didn’t they tell me it was floating when I went in to pay.

Normally I have a good experience with Safeway Here lately my experiences are just getting worse and worse Luckily you guys had an Employee by the name of Jordan Chase Dee at self checkout gets a 0 stars He gets 5 stars On top of that They were out of cilantro and Limes on the floor I asked someone to grab me some He found Likes but no Cilantro I asked the gal at the front she said what’s on the floor is on the floor Yet I was able to have someone grab me limes sounds more like she didn’t want to Have anyone look to me I stand Corrected Jordan W with Deli on the later shift made you guys look great Thank you Jordan you saved the day This man needs a Raise for going above and beyond. Would make great management

I am shocked on how high your prices are here. Im traveling from AZ and I thought prices were high there, every item i bought was at least $1 more here. Disgusting how you charge so much. Ill go to Walmart

I wish I could rate this place higher, but seriously, their grocery prices are a lot higher than 3 other places in the area. So why choose to lose money 💰 by shopping here? I might grab a quick something from their deli though. As it's pretty decent, which is why I add the 2nd star. We all know it's definitely not the exceptional customer service 🙄

Even though the experience is always a delight, always someone there to help you today. Me and my wife found eggnog that’s made from almonds instead of regular milk so it’s lactose free. It was out of date by almost 20 days sitting on the front row on the shelf that they keep them other than that normally everything‘s just fine

I giving 4 stars due to lack of communication of female employees who to my order for 32 piece dark chicken on Sunday 19,2025 at 8:53 am pick up time 3:00-3:15 and she took my name and phone #. When I arrived at store first man called the other guy who worked there and he said there was no order for me and maybe it was another Safeway. Do I double checked and showed him the store # and I was at right store. He said he would have to get ahold of a manager. I was not upset so I asked him just to give me what he had already cooked because it would be 30 minutes before I could get my order. I could tell he was upset and he started pulling chicken from the cooker but was on phone with probably the manager, so the other 2 employees finished preparing my order. That was awesome that they honored the same price for the mixed chicken I recieved. Thank you to the 3 male employees for making me a happy customer.
