I just had my black 2016 Lexus RX 350 detailed. Appointment process was pretty simple made through Yelp. They gave me a 2 hour window 8am-10am and the detailers showed up on time. Kevin and Bruno of BAAD (Bay Area Auto Detailing) detailed my vehicle. I was under the impression that someone employed by RX3 would be taking care of me but I guess they're just the middle man who hire contractors to detail. My vehicle's paint was in pretty bad shape and needed paint correction. So I got the Super Exterior detail package offered which was $419 + 10% off that included the 2 step paint correction. I asked Kevin how long it would take and he said about 4 hours as I had expected. They started on my vehicle around 9am. Kevin called me around 11am and said they had to vacate the car wash bay since someone wanted to use it. There's only one car wash bay in my complex. So he drove my car back to my parking spot and continued to work on it. He said he needed another 45 minutes to an hour to seal the paint. Kevin was still drying some of the water off of the vehicle but he wasn't using a Waffle weave microfiber towel which is what most pros use and I use. But at least he should've used either a Chamois towel or any type of microfiber towel would've sufficed. I later asked him how long he has been detailing cars and he said about 2 years. That explains why he was using one of those pink/red shop towels that are very rough to dry. So after an hour he called to tell me he is finished. I go outside to do a thorough inspection. I run my bare hands on every surface to make sure its smooth. Immediately I noticed the entire passenger side was missed due to the presence of water spots. And the surface was still rougher than the other side. The entire rooftop was missed as well. Kevin was very happy to fix the issue but Bruno made a comment to me about the water spots would not all disappear. Are you kidding me?? I am paying for a +$400 paint correction detail so my paint should be close to flawless and definitely no water spots. I also asked Kevin if he did the door jams and rear hatch jams. He said this was an exterior detail so door jams not included? Even when I run my car through a quick wash the people always dry my door jams. That's part of an exterior wash and definitely should be part of an expensive exterior detail. If water doesn't get dried in the jams it will cause unsightly run off. Detailing 101. Again, Kevin was happy to oblige and did it for me. So after both polish the roof and passenger side to remove water spots and rough patches, I noticed the front bumper passenger side still has some spots and asked if they could polish it. Bruno did it but seemed unhappy about it. I also noticed the side mirrors still little dirty but maybe they overlooked it since they do retract when the car is locked. So I was fine was that since Kevin fixed it. Overall I gave the detail 3 stars for pretty good but would've received 4 stars if I didn't have to point out the clear water spots and roughness on roof and passenger side. Checkout process was little painful due to credit card reader malfunctioning so had to manually enter CC info which isn't safe. Nevertheless, I still gave them a 10% tip on top because I felt they did their best to satisfy me even though Bruno wasn't as customer friendly. A side note, the customer is always right so please don't say anything that would cause them to be unhappy or unsatisfied. Instead just do what the customer request and who knows they might tip you even more and even hire you again. I also thought maybe the job was little rushed because they had another detail at 1pm. So perhaps not schedule so many appointments in one day if the customer has a big job like paint correction so that the quality of the job is good and not compromised due to time constraints.

Asked for and got nextdoor day Sunday time slot. I own Oakland Pet Care and I'm the third owner of a Honda Element and the second dog pro to own it. I got an interior detailing that gave me a new vehicle. There's no dog hair anywhere, not a one! Smells great. Looks great. It doesn't get any better.

Amazing job cleaning 2 years of Siberian Husky dog hair in my truck. Alex did a great job!! I highly recommend these guys for your next vehicle detail, they were able to schedule me for a same day detail. It was great.
