Russell Fischer Xpress Car Wash at Beach & Edinger used to be my go-to for quick, reliable washes. For just $10, I’d get a decent clean, and someone would usually be around to towel off any missed spots after the tunnel. Lately, though, this place has completely gone downhill. The past few visits have been disappointing — the dryers barely work anymore, and there’s never anyone around to help wipe down the car. I end up having to dry my ENTIRE car myself, which defeats the purpose of paying for a car wash in the first place. Today was the last straw. After paying and pulling up to the tunnel, an employee came rushing over and told me I should have waited behind a cone because a child died in the tunnel and I could have killed someone. First off, that's horrifying — but also, the cone they mentioned wasn’t even in front of the entrance. It was off to THE SIDE. How am I supposed to know I was supposed to stop there? More importantly, why wasn’t there an attendant guiding cars into the tunnel like there used to be? Instead, they were just standing around chatting by the pay station. For the same price, this location no longer provides the service or basic safety standards it once did. I’ll be going to H2Go down the street or washing my car at home and drying it off with a leaf blower — at least then I know it’ll actually get clean.

Love my experience. I came in thinking I was going to wash myself and they offer N option, that they clean the inside for you. Employees are polite and helpful. Will be making this my permanent car wash! They offer different options and it is self serve. However they do offer a service where they take care of the inside. Alberto was the one to help and he did amazing..

Haven’t washed my car in a while, the outside was pretty dirty, went for a basic wash but Vanz did a great job explaining the wash packages to me. Their basic wash is Silver and wouldn’t have gotten the job done so I opted for the gold wash. They hand dried my car and put a tire shine on the tires.

Pedro gave the outside of my car a full wash, clay bar treatment, and wax. The paint looks flawless—smooth, shiny, and free of any residue or water spots. He also cleaned the wheels thoroughly, polished the rims, and dressed the tires so they look brand new. Even the windows were streak-free and crystal clear. Interior: The interior detailing was just as impressive. Pedro vacuumed every inch of the seats, carpets, and trunk area. He wiped down and conditioned all surfaces, including the dashboard, door panels, and center console. All dust, dirt, and grime were completely gone. He even cleaned the air vents and cupholders—small things that make a big difference. The entire car smells fresh without being overpowering.

This is the best car wash service I have ever used. I drive for Uber so I know I have more people coming in and out of my car than the average driver, but my Uber riders are always saying how nice and clean my car is and how good it smells. I have the unlimited diamond package, which is 80 a month, and that may seem like a lot for car washes but if you go twice a week that's 10 bucks a wash. Plus they dry off the exterior, vacuum the interior and wipe down all the surfaces! Totally worth it, and I go more than twice a week. But if you don't need all that, they have cheaper packages, or you can just pay for an individual wash. I cannot recommend them enough, the workers are very friendly and always take care of my car quickly.

It was okay. The service was very fast and reasonable price but I was expecting the car to clean a bit better for $40 for car wash . I personally would rather pay $60 for Mobile wash as it is much more cleaner and my person comes to me so I wouldn’t need to waste for 30 mins.

So I’ve been washing my car in this carwash since I moved here about one year ago, sometimes I buy the $20 wash sometimes the $10 and most of the time I buy towels and stuff from them, I usually take time washing my car because I don’t wash it regularly so when I wash I like to take my time, I just returned from there and not going there again and I know it doesn’t matter to them, because they’re not making their money off of me only, besides I don’t usually go online and write reviews about placed but this place and its owner or whoever is rude and disrespectful and deserves the worst review ever and it’s the least I can do to show how trash they are, right before I finish washing my car and I know that I stayed too long, but all the time I was there, and available spot was always open and there was not a second with someone waiting for a spot to clear, and usually they come dry your car after you wash it, and they didn’t come and I didn’t care even though not a single time I go there and someone comes to dry the car and I don’t tip him, so the guy cane to me and told me “ are you going to close the car wash with us “ like what!!!! And it’s not like he came 3 times before and I ignored him, it was literally the first time he comes, and he came to say that, anyway I told him there is a more respectful way to ask someone to do something, besides I always come here, so pretty much whoever called him to come say that to me is the one who told him to say that because the guy when I told him I always come here, he told me I know but they saw you in the cameras and called me. Anyway that was disrespectful in a place that offers service to people and very unprofessional, definitely won’t go there again and if you take time washing your car don’t go there. The problem I even was feeling bad because it took me do long but available spots was always open and I said to myself if someone came to say anything, I will offer to pay like an extra $10 or something but they didn’t even give me the chance by being so disrespectful. I hope they run out of water or something lol smh

Like the rain x option for my car. Stay shinier, cleaner longer. Pricey for a car wash though. Maybe because it’s rain x solution. Interior wasn’t fully cleaned. Exterior had some residual water marks. Shop though has cool gift options. Seating area is open seating. Convenient location but sucks you can only exit out to beach blvd.

Excellent place to get a car wash. Just moved into town and this was the closest one to me so I figured I’d give it a try before I go any further. Vanz was very helpful and knowledgeable as he explained the washes to me. I got the $20 wash where the other employees hand dry it for me and put on tire shine. My car looks great and I’m very pleased with it. Most likely will get the membership.

Danny is the man!! Right when I pulled up he came out to help me right away. I bought the membership online and he was able to help me get it setup and explained what came with it. After that Danny was able to hook me up with a sticker for my membership so I can use that for washers every time I came. After the wash he cleaned my interior inside and out very professional. Would recommend doing business with Danny he’s a great manager.

Unbelievable car wash! From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The team pays incredible attention to detail, and my car looked absolutely spotless—inside and out. A huge shoutout to Pedro Ramirez—ask for him if you come here! He is incredibly friendly, super nice, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.
