I guess Walgreens bought the place out so I think the small neighborhood pharmacy feel that I love about this place may be quickly turning into a thing of the past.

This place has the most friendly employees and the service is the best around and for that guy who said no one could call in the phone lines where down for a week and I’m sure that’s why he got such a poor review but I give this store a 10/10

I love my local rite aid. I go at least 2 times a week, sometimes 2 times a day. The whole team is great.

I've been using Rite Aid on Conklin Ave for years now, (I switched after multiple unapologetic errors by CVS on Robinson), The staff at Rite Aid are truly caring and professional. I always enjoy going to this store.

Typical pharmacy/store... Halloween stuff 50% off already! I felt TERRIBLE for the pharmacy staff. 3 workers who were SLAMMED, I had to wait about a half an hour for meds that were supposed to be picked up yesterday, but 1 med still had to be counted. I'm not complaining at all... it's a shame these ladies were so crazed... But they handled it professionally and with kindness, when anyone could have easily understood a frazzled pharmacist or clerk not joking or smiling, that wasn't my experience yesterday, nor for the 7 ppl who were on line while I was waiting. This staff deserves a raise!😃

I would have gave 5 stars if it was just rated on the front end staff, they are wonderful. But my experience with the pharmacy was horrible. I spent all day in the ER with my 6 year old son who is fighting with Influenza B, we had a mix up and his meds were sent to the wrong pharmacy and was told I would have to have the rite aid pharmacy call it in to them to transfer the info. I spoke to a woman with long blonde wavy hair in the rite aid pharmacy and she spoke loudly to me about how they were understaffed for this situation and pointed out the long line on the pick up side, she humiliated me and I was embarrassed. She never even asked any questions about who it was for or the urgency of the situation I was in. Needless to say, I left with no medications for my child who is very ill.

I intended to have a prescription transferred to the Rite Aid on Conklin Ave from North Carolina. I called in on a Friday and asked to have the script transferred. They let me know they would get things transferred. I went in the next Thursday after not hearing from the pharmacy the entire week. They briskly said that there was no prescriptions for me and turned away without allowing me to ask any questions or trying to figure anything out. I have used both locations in NC and NY in the past and they have my contact information. I was not informed that there was any issues with my transfer. After leaving feeling confused and shut down by the employees I called back to explain further and figure out what went wrong. They said that they did call the script in to be transferred. However, they did not know the medication was so they didn't move forward. This was a medication for type 1 diabetes that without I could die within a few days. After I called they were able to get the prescription for the next day. My mother went to pick up the prescription and was immediately shot down saying that she was not able to pick up the prescription. I went in after my mother was shooed away by the pharmacist with no questions asked. The policy to pick up someones prescription is having their DOB/insurance information, which my mom had with her. After being shut down though she politely left. I went in for the 3rd visit for this script and the manager let me know that the policy is just having insurance info and my mom could have picked it up. She also mentioned that she left a note to figure out the situation, but nothing was done.

Today me and my boyfriend went here to get medication out of pocket. The pharmacist Christina helped us out with Good Rx and was just very helpful. She had a busy line and still went out of her way to help us. Bless her heart she was also working alone in the pharmacy. I'm tempted to switch to this location because of how kind everyone there was.

UPDATE DECEMBER 2024 Considerable difference since this past summer. The pharmacy now has regular hours with an attending pharmacist and staff who reach out when prescriptions are filled and ready for pickup (although I'm seeing that a month ago the pharmacy received another negative review), and shelves in the store are now better stocked. This location has been consistent with cleanliness and having a friendly and helpful staff. Friendliness/Helpfulness - 5 stars Reliability/Inventory - 5 stars AUGUST 2024 The team is great. The two stars doesn't reflect them at all. The low rating is for their lack of inventory and the random closures of it's pharmacy. If I could give two separate ratings, one for staff friendliness/helpfulness and one for reliability/inventory, it would be: Friendliness/Helpfulness - 5 stars Reliability/Inventory - 2 stars
