Not once, in probably 50+ visits, have they ever been able to accomplish getting prescriptions ready by the promised time. Most times, they haven't even started filling my prescriptions when I arrive, even if it's 24+ hours past the promised time. They have the only drive-thru pharmacy anywhere near here, so I still grudgingly return when it's cold/snowy. Otherwise, though, I avoid this pharmacy like the plague. I will say, though, that the workers are usually pleasant enough. Others have said how terrible they are, and I haven't found that to be the case.

WORST PHARMACY EVER!! Just like all of the other reviews stated, they are not wrong. These people NEVER answer the phone. Prescriptions are never ready when you need them. Recently I had a prescription called in and it took them 10 HOURS TO FILL, Blamed it on them being short staffed but there were legit 4 people working? I call and I’ve had someone pickup and hang up over and Over again. What great customer service!!! Place is a joke

Very rude older lady working at the pharmacy. I called two days ago and asked them to fill up new prescriptions and kindly requested them to print out copies of the prescriptions. The girl in on the phone was nice and said it will be ready for me to pick up. When I go after two days the older lady comes to the drive through window and tells me it’s not ready and I should have called. I said I did, two days ago that should have been enough time. But she says well it’s not so come back and she can’t do it right now because she was busy. I mean seriously!! And the worst thing is it’s not the first time this has happened. I still go there because it’s close to where I live but this is no way to treat anyone. I hope the owner or manager or whoever is responsible for this establishment sees this review and acts accordingly.

Convenient location, but the shelves seem to be perpetually empty. Unsure if this is a staffing or stocking issue, but nearly every time I visit the item I'm looking for (be it something as simple as bar soap) Is entirely out of stock. This pretty much negates the conveniency of the location.

I think people need to take some of the reviews with a grain of salt. For instance, some of these RECENT complaints are from customers who have verbally abused staff, using profanity, even going so far as to call them names. Specifically, one pharmacy technician was called a “Troll” by the review from EC, 6 days days ago. People need to stop and remember that these pharmacy technicians are people, too, and a lot of things are out of their control. They do not have the authority to order more medications, when they run out of stock. They do not control the pharmaceutical companies, the distributors, who don’t give them a full supply of what they DO order. And on top of it, they have to deal with you grumpy lot, all day every day. Kindness goes a long way. And be careful what you say, you never know who’s watching and listening.

Genuinely the worst pharmacy I have ever used in my life. Employees always have an attitude, prescriptions are never filled or ready, and I have been met with condescending tones, attitudes and downright rudeness multiple times at this location. I’d recommend going elsewhere in Manchester.

Rite Aid Pharmacy on Elm St, in Manchester, NH is the WORST customer service I have ever gotten. This is literally the worst Rite Aid, I have ever been to in my entire life. I’ve gone through rite aid for my prescriptions forever now, always have. This is by the far the rudest, misinforming, and uncaring pharmacy location I have ever been too. I run a treatment facility and we get our clients prescriptions through rite aid, however due to my several experiences at Rite Aid on Elm, our treatment has boycott this location. Also, automatic refills are NEVER ready, even days after it was supposed to be filled. Especially compared to McGregor st. Rite Aid, I have never had an issue at McGregor and they’re always kind and caring.

The prescriptions are never ready even when they text you and say they are. I went in and the prescription wasn't ready. They said it would take half an hour to fill and they all go to lunch then so it would be ready for pickup in an hour. I came back and they told me they were out of my medicine and had to order it and wouldn't be ready for two days. My doctor sent the prescription in two days prior. So I asked them why didn't they order it then? And why did they not tell me that earlier so I wouldn't have to come all the way back? The clerk proceeded to be very defensive and rude. No sorry about the screw up. I switched pharmacies and suggest you do the same.

While there for a vaccination was repeatedly prompted to shut up by the clinician giving the shot at the start of each of my sentences so that she could nervously control communication which did not need to be controlled. Responded to sentences and questions which had not been spoken; at the beginning of me trying speak them, with both yes and no which gave me mixed messages. Acted outside of the culture of her institution so that I almost left without the required medical record. Also was not willing to receive my own records which their website told me would be taken from me at the beginning of their process.

Personally I think if a business states it is open til 6:00pm they are open til 6:00pm & don’t close even 5 minutes early…. especially a pharmacy (people need their prescriptions). I went there on a Sunday to pick up a prescription for a friend who doesn’t drive. I had an extremely busy & chaotic day & wasn’t able to get there earlier but I got there at 4:45pm (they are supposed to be open til 5:00pm on Sundays) & they were already closed!! My friend needs her medication so she had to go through the frustrations of calling the after hours answering service for her provider & get her prescriptions sent to another pharmacy- which took several hours to accomplish. She is very sick & exhausted easily, she should not have had to deal with that because her pharmacy closed early without notifying their customers picking up prescriptions that day. I’ve been on her to switch pharmacies because I was tired of being asked for money and/or cigarettes (even pills a few times) every time I go to that location! I finally convinced her to permanently switch pharmacies after this fiasco.

Pretty much done with this location. The pharmacy drive-up has been closed for months, and don't expect them to fill your prescription same day or even have it in stock. You'll also likely wait in a long line before finding out they don't even have the prescription because nobody ever answers the phone. Time for a new pharmacy. 2 stars because the pharmacy staff is very nice.

I have been using this pharmacy for over a year, and without fail, every time I have to pick something up, there’s an issue. Sometimes they take coupons, and sometimes they don’t. Seems to just depend on who’s working. I’m told something different by every employee. I’ll get automated texts saying my script is ready, go in and they don’t even have it, and tell me to call around to other places to find it.

I always get my shots here whenever possible, they are fast with service and they come to tell me when things are ready. Otherwise I get text messages to let me know when I should drop by to pick-up my prescriptions. These are my Neighbors and I'm sure you would feel the same way if you went there too.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Store shelfs are bare in certain sections the place looks like it’s going out of business. The pharmacy is the worst. My meds are never in stock and always need to be ordered which delay the refill date. They don’t answer the phone. Drive through is closed forever. And if you need a prior authorization, just forget it. I’ve permanently switched pharmacies and don’t run into these issues elsewhere.

Used to love this place! Used it for years. The workers are always nice but the pharmacy is so lacking now that I'm going to be changing over to somewhere else. If you call, it's about 50/50 if someone answers and they rush you off the phone. Didn't reach out to my docs for a refill until after we were trying to fill it. But they had gotten a new refill for another med only a couple days before. Why not just request all refills needed at once? My doctor would have responded for both. My fella went to pick a script up and they told him to wait for an hour for the second one to be filled. After waiting an hour in the parking lot he went in and they said he'd have to wait until after 2pm. He had waited from 11:30 - 12:30. Now I have one med filled, one being requested from my doc, and one that's being filled but keeps being pushed back to later times. Request all refills at once. Fill all meds at once. I'll be transferring out shortly.

I visited the pharmacy to collect a prescription. I had another prescription but my prescriber to decide to select an alternative medication. An Indian gentleman assisted me during my visit. After mistakenly inquiring if I was someone else, I clarified that I was there to pick up my prescription. He informed me that I had two prescriptions. I acknowledged this but stated that I would only be taking the new one. His response was quite rude, as he remarked, "You should have told me this before." I had never encountered this individual prior to this moment. My doctor had sent the prescriptions, and after expressing visible annoyance, he processed my medication. He then requested identification and stated, "Yeah, you're going to have to be an ID person from now on because this medication is hard to get." I am fully aware of the nature of the medication, and it is disheartening to visit a pharmacy for a prescription my neurologist has provided only to feel shamed. Over the past two years, the quality of interactions has declined significantly, and the service has been unsatisfactory continuously. The experience was so unpleasant that I have decided to change pharmacies, as I can no longer tolerate the rudeness, the absence of a drive-through service for over a year, and the judgment I feel when obtaining my medication.

Friendly staff, but be cautious when shopping here. I recently bought a product that turned out to be defective, only to find out they have a strict no-return policy. It’s frustrating to spend money on something that doesn’t work and not be able to get a refund or exchange. While the team is nice and helpful, the store policies feel like a ripoff. I recommend buying essential items from a more reliable place with a proper return policy.

8 months ago I wrote a 2 star review for this Rite Aid location but I'm upgrading it to 5 stars. I go here once a month to pick up multiple prescriptions and there's never been an issue. I go here multiple times a week for random stuff and the staff is friendly and quick in checking me out. There have been issues with stuff being in stock due to Rite Aid (corporate) financial issue, however this ha largely gone away. The manager is very efficient and should get a raise. Rite Aid: please keep stamps in stock there is a postal box in your lot that I use to pay my rent and I have to go to 7-11 to get them.
