They insisted I need to make an appointment for a vaccine. I go to my appointment and they say the pharmacist left for lunch come back in half an hour. Incredibly unorganized rude people work here. Worst pharmacy I've ever been to.

Worst pharmacy ever!!! Very unhelpful basically told me she didn't care how sick my daughter was or how long I've been waiting for her medication ( 9 month old preemie severely sick and needing breathing treatment) and it's not her problem. I would not recommend using this pharmacy especially in an emergency situation. They had plenty of time to have her medication ready!

This location has an absolutely horrible way of managing lost anf found items. My son, a friend and I came into get ice cream on 8/16/17 and forgot a rather important yo-yo on the counter. As soon as I realized we had I called and reported it. I spoke to the night supervisor Julie who said she could see it and would hold it for me to pick up the next day. However, when I returned the next evening it was nowhere to be found. I have returned every day since then and still no one can help me. I also found out that other than cell phones the safe location that they put found items is behind the counter rather than in the cash office that is next to the registers.

The air conditioning hasn't worked all summer. The employees look miserable and are red faced and sweating. I couldn't breath while in there. I always ask if it will be fixed and the employees say they never know. I feel for them so badly. FIX YOUR AC! No one wants to shop in sweltering heat!

I've been a customer for more than 20 years. With the very notable exceptions of Judy and Katrina, customer service in the pharmacy has severely turned to garbage-- whether it's trying to give me a different Evan Peterson's medications, shorting me my blood pressure medications and claiming I picked them up (they NEVER verify with you what meds you're getting or signing for), being outright rude & argumentative (Dan), or being condescending and patronizing if you have a problem. After 20 years Im thinking of moving my business elsewhere

It's Rite Aid. This store seems to have everything you need! One thing to be alerted to đ˘ is beware the time(s) you go. Tends to be infinitely busy at the witching hour of 5pm, clear thru 8pm. This store also offers pharmacy delivery for completely gratis!

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been to. In the 7-8 times I have filled the exact same prescription, which consists of one item, it has not been ready. I have varied the time in which I give them to fill it, and they still are not capable of doing their job. If I could give them less than one star, I would.

I took my daughter there to get her covid vaccination and we both felt that something wasn't right. The place was dirty (there was a thin layer of dust in the waiting room area on the ledge that runs along the wall.) The uniforms on the employees were dirty and stained and they were less than friendly. They also had the information on my daughters card wrong and had to be redone. This in itself isn't bad but it just adds to it all.

Worst pharmacy experience of my life. The pharmacy manager called me personally to grill me about why I was choosing to use their pharmacy. Requested excessive information from my doctors office, tried to deter me multiple times from filling at their store without giving any reason, and once all of their requirements were met... told me they did not have my medication in stock. Disgusting incompetence and discrimination. Zero star experience.

Absolutely stellar service at the Pharmacy! Evacuees of the Camp Fire descended on the Rite Aid on Mangrove... most of us had fled without our meds. The lines were horrendous, people were tired and grumpy and scared, but the staff kept their cool and helped everyone. They helped me get through to my insurance company (repeated calls to get releases for early refills). Thank you so much for the good humor and kindness.

Rite Aid pharmacy on Mangrove has improved since my 2 star review. Communication (in-person, online and phone) is better and the staff seem happier. During my last two trips, the "pickup" line wasn't as long. Guess they needed time to adjust to increase in customers.

The pharmacy is by far the worst ive EVER dealt with as a customer in all my life!! They have no idea what they are doing and yet they go to school for years to become a pharmacist. Maybe its not the actual pharmacist but rather the system that rite aid has is a nightmare and i have never had a good experience with any of the rite aide stores all over California.

Very unprofessional Pharmacy. Turned in my prescription, was told about 30 minutes or so. I waited for an hour. Checked on my prescription, not ready yet, a few more minutes. Another hour later, I was trying to be patient, and it still wasn't filled or even started. I was informed at that point they were very busy. Not when I got here at 9:45 this morning it wasn't. Thank you I'll go elsewhere. Good bye. I will not go back. My prescription was only antibiotics.

Dirty bathrooms in a pharmacy just do not match. Picking up medicine took a while, apparently Pharmacist takes a lunch break in our case. Sad to see the homeless population in this particular area. 2 Stars. 12-21 In a perfect world a pharmacy should be squeaky clean, if only for the Germophobia crowds not to fret, but this place seems resigned to a path of substandard maintenance. This lady I know, and value, gets her medication from this location (not that the other location fares better with more stars đ), and since waiting times can stretch out her going to the restroom always shakes her composure just a little bit. I know people working here are polite and nice, but lacking the skills to pay the bill on the cleaning duties. So to make a long story even longer: mop mop the floor with plenty of pine soil, particularly bathrooms đ˝!I just made that song đľ. Happy Holidays!

Hours frequently change so it can be difficult to accurately get prescription picked up. Posting the hours they have as of April 2023 for anyone else who is frustrated not knowing how late the pharmacy is open. Beware sometimes they lock up 5-10 min early.

Wish I read the reviews about the pharmacy here. The woman working there was rude to say the least. The assistant was much more pleasant and helpful. I wouldnât ever go here again....I wanted to add to this review that I have tried to contact Rite Aid customer service via the email address they provided below and got a response that the email address is no longer active. đđť Way to go Rite Aid.

This is the last time I ever get a prescription sent here. This is the SECOND time Iâve driven to Chico from Durham to get my meds in three days and theyâve not been able to fill my script. If your hours say youâre open then you need to be able to fill my meds. I have called multiple times and they donât even pick up the phone. Seems like this place is going out of business anyways as the store is always dirty, half empty, garbage all over the front and poorly staffed. Do yourself a favor and just use a local pharmacist like Bidwell and not this corporate trash hole.

Nobody answers the phone and there is no option to leave a message, I have a simple question. After 3X of not getting an answer, I called the pharmacy. She answered but put me on hold, then said she would transfer me to someone else but.. I'm still on hold as I write this. Just disconnect your phone, Rite-Aid, tell the public that you can't be bothered to answer their telephone calls. UPDATE: I actually got an answer after many more tries, that's worth one more star. * Rite Aid DOES accept alum & plastic for CRV, btw. *

The Pharmacy at RiteAid on Mangrove Avenue is terrific! They are ALWAYS extremely fast at getting my prescriptions. If there is a problem with communication with your Dr.âs office, they have NO PROBLEM picking up a phone and trying to resolve the issue (say if a Dr. Isnât calling back). They resolve issues and make you feel like they genuinely care about getting your needs taken care of. Iâve been to other pharmacies in Chico (sounds like VHS) - who always have the attitude of âitâs not my problemâ and donât help you resolve an issue. The staff at this particular RiteAid store is considerate and problem solving. They ALL have the attitude of âLetâs get the Dr. On the phone and fix thisâ You donât get that from other pharmacies. Keep up the great work!

The misleading price tags make me never want to shop at Rite Aid again. I thought I was getting 50% off, and the cashier informed that that it was buy one get the second one at 50% off. Very, very small lettering!
