I don't usually rate grocery stores, but three employees said hello to me here. Everyone was super nice.

This store is insanely organized and clean. I've gotten their sushi several times and it's absolutely perfect every time.

Had a horrible experience today with Anthony. My husband and I shop here all the time and we’re moving (locally) so I went in and asked a worker if they had any empty boxes that I could take off their hands. He points me to Anthony and says that he can help me. So I ask Anthony as he’s barreling towards me if they have any spare boxes they plan on throwing away that I could take. He rudely shouts “no”, very simply yet loud and abrupt, then without stopping keeps on walking. He didn’t give me even the time of day to treat me like a human being. Just one rude word barked at me and left. I stood there a bit confused by how rude it was and immediately another worker who witnessed the display along with the man that originally I spoke to came over and apologized for Anthony’s behavior and immediately brought out some boxes for me and said it wasn’t a problem and that they did in fact have boxes. They said they didn’t know why he acted that way towards me and that they were sorry. They were very nice, but I’m leaving this review because it’s important from a business standpoint to understand that it’s people like Anthony that ruin a stores reputation. All it takes is one horrible interaction and sometimes people never go back to a store. That’s why a lot of people like myself are levitating towards Trader Joe’s instead. They prioritize friendly conversation with customers and making people feel welcomed, instead of how Anthony made me feel like a burden or honestly a criminal haha. Shame on Publix for hiring people like him. You should really take more time to consider the quality of people you are hiring and emphasize hospitality during the onboarding process. I personally won’t be going to this location anymore because I’ve dealt with enough bad apples like Anthony here and don’t want to feel like a burden when I walk in the store. I hope y’all get your stuff together and hire nicer people but if not it’s really not my problem. Good luck.

I like the grocery, however the bakery department messed up my cake. I was very upset, because you only turn 50 once. In the future I'll seek another place with cakes.

Super excited to see Publix here in Greenville, NC.. I was a huge fan/customer at the Publix in Florida, and missed shopping at Publix when I moved to North Carolina, needless to say my favorite Grocery, Bakery, Meat Department and Deli have arrived here in Greenville, NC. I had the opportunity to check out the new store today and was blown away by the size, cleanliness, huge variety and most of all value just like the Publix my family and I have grown to love. Take my advice.. try everything at Publix! From the bakery to the meat department and especially their deli where they make the best made to order right in front of you with boars head meats and cheeses 'Subs!' I guarantee you will never buy from anywhere else again! Because if something is wrong which is a rarity, Publix will make everything right for you on the spot no questions asked.. I am really hoping to join their Loss Prevention Team when they open a spot for Eastern North Carolina. Publix private labels are the best out there as well. What can I say.. Publix far out seeds the competition 💯 times over in all aspects of the grocery market. I was able to save $200.00 per month by switching to Publix in-store pharmacy for my monthly routine medications.😳 same medication, lower price generics and it only took 10 minutes with their pharmacist. Go on.. see for yourself.🤔🤔👍🏻👍🏻🤠🤠😎😎

Honestly a great store. However one cashier I believe is racist. My first experience dealing with her she seemed to check out the people that were ahead of me and they paid. However for me she wasn’t even done ringing up my groceries and asked was I going to put my card in as if she was rushing. My second encounter at the self check out she literally stood next to my register moving from her spot at the front.

You can ask their bakery to do the simplest decorations and they tell you they can’t do it. Asked for this, told them not to worry about the topper just want the icing and they say they can’t. But somehow Lowe’s food and Walmart can.

I ordered a cake for my sister’s birthday, with gold and dark pink colors, it was completely wrong, first the color is terrible, I wanted a darker pink, I got a very light pink, and the design isn’t what I asked for. The first picture is what we got, and the second was kind of the idea except I didn’t want that same color. And the top wasn’t supposed to have all those big round things it was supposed to be dripping down a little bit like the white area in the second picture, I’m very disappointed because the cake just looks ugly, that.

Publix is a great place to shop for groceries/items; their produce is super fresh and they have lots of unique products that you may not find at other local markets. I promise shopping at Publix gives happy vibes, and the sales that they offer adds to it! The fresh flowers at Publix are beautiful; one of the best places to purchase your fresh flowers... you won't be disappointed. The attendants normally have great customer service! Normally they all have a welcoming vibe, and seemingly greet their customers. The customer service is unique -I like how they use to have employees to wipe down the carts to keep them clean... and if you happen to need rain accessories, they even have umbrellas and ponchos to borrow if it's raining. The attendants at the customer service center are always patient and friendly. Publix get alot of business, so be prepared for lots of people and a busy parking lot, unless you visit early mornings. Check out Publix for great quality products and great shopping experience!

I would totally give zero stars if that were an option. I was second in line at the deli for sub sandwiches, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The associate, Latresa, was very rude and unprofessional. She argued with me about my bread choice even though I calmly and clearly stated what I wanted and the bread was baked and ready right in front of me, she insisted on only serving white bread. It took over 40 minutes for just two sandwiches to be made, and during that time she continued serving customers who were behind us in line. By the time our order was finished, the entire line had been served. When the sandwiches were finally ready, they were slammed onto the counter without any courtesy. I’ve always experienced better customer service from Publix, so this time was especially upsetting. I left feeling extremely frustrated and singled out. I hope this is addressed so other customers don’t have a similar experience.

First I was very appreciative that they were able to move the date of my pickup from Sunday to Friday. I called Thursday and the cake can be ready next day when ordered on the website- so that’s not an excuse for the mess of a birthday cake I got for my 7yr old. The cake was sloppy, and it also tasted stale, it was completely dry. They wrote my daughter’s birthday message on the plate instead of the cake…?! The layers of buttercream were pitiful and were supposed to be multicolored. The one I got wasn’t. I’m so disappointed, I’m not even saving it it’s going straight in the trash. $40 for a messy stale cake. Also, it has 5 layers and I paid for 6. Just ridiculous, do not waste your money. My mom recommended Publix, I don’t recommend this one.

I normally expect much better from Publix, but this visit was extremely disappointing. The girl working at the deli acted like she was just there to collect a paycheck and didn’t seem to care about customers at all. I waited around 40 minutes just to get two sandwiches, while she continued letting 30 other people go ahead of me. What made it worse was that I was waiting under the impression I was going to get my sub, only to eventually find out they weren’t even serving the chicken tender sub anymore. No clear communication, no urgency, and no consideration for my time. I understand being busy, but this felt unprofessional and very frustrating. My time was completely wasted, which is why I rated this visit 1 star. Latrisa was her name. I’ll never ever shop at this Publix again! What made me really mad was a young boy came out the back of the doors in the deli and jumped in the line and started helping the other line that was waiting as we where and ended up giving some dude In the line chicken tenders that “wasn’t being sold” anymore. So I felt like I was lied to and honestly felt like it was a racial profiling type of situation. Overall going to this Publix was the worst decision I made this day in North Carolina and I won’t be spending my money at this Publix or any Publix branch ever again because of this incident.

The deli associate making my sandwich had an obvious attitude, as if I was an inconvenience for simply ordering. I had to ask him to correct multiple things, not because I was being picky, but because the sandwich was not being made correctly. For example, he put two slices of bacon on one side and only one on the other. When I politely asked him to add the missing slice (as it’s supposed to be), he rolled his eyes. To make matters worse, I was double charged and didn’t notice until I reached the register. When I went to customer service to fix it, the grocery manager was just as rude and dismissive, treating me like I was lying trying to get something for free. The extra $2 was never the issue, it was the principle. I was being charged incorrectly and expected that to be corrected. I even offered to have the sandwich remade properly and let them keep the incorrect one, and only then did the manager reluctantly agree to fix the tag. That’s all I wanted from the beginning, and it shouldn’t have turned into such an ordeal. I do want to note that the other customer service associates were great and handled themselves professionally. I hope management addresses the attitude and service issues in the deli and with leadership, because this experience was disappointing and unnecessary.

Finding Heavy Cream in Greenville without yucky additives is challenging so we settl d for half & half that was polluted......Luckily Publix had one option without gums and chemicals. Thank you......after 3 other stops you had something truly organic. Well done .....

Love this unique grocery store. Has individual servings of prepared meals for smaller families. Produce always looks fresh and the bakery has many tempting desserts. Loved the enormously large chocolate covered strawberries for my valentines day treat.
