I had an awful experience at the Melrose location yesterday. I asked for the diamond wash (i think that’s the name-the highest level $30 wash). The man asked me 3 times if I didn’t want to sign up for the monthly. I repeatedly said no, I want the diamond. He swiped my card and starts me moving. This was the first car wash ever where they didn’t use the large soapy brush on the hood and front grill. He did nothing. As I’m putting the receipt away I see that he charged me $20 for the platinum wash, not $30 for the level I requested. After exiting I drove back around and asked why he didn’t give me the service I requested. He said that one was broken today. I asked why he didn’t tell me that and he claimed he did but he definitely only kept trying to sell me the monthly package. Fine. I back out and go over to the vacuums. They were awful. Barely any suction, and one of the nozzles fell off the hose over and over again, no matter how much I tried to reattach it. My car still has areas on the hood that didn’t get cleaned because he didn’t clean the hood before I went through the wash tunnel. Never again.

The basic wash is not very good. Machines dont dry well enough so watermarks all over th car. The monthly membership is not worth the quality of the wash.

the most disgusting sink! when i chose the mode with detergent, the pressure was with regular water. there is no powder there at all. the worst place! if you want to throw away 6$ good luck

I had a great experience at Prestige Melrose! After my car came out with some road salt missed during the first wash, the attendant, Antonio, went above and beyond to make it right. He offered a second wash to ensure my car looked spotless, and I really appreciated his professionalism. Antonio’s customer service was excellent, and because of him, I’ll definitely be coming back in the future. Highly recommend this car wash for their service and commitment to customer satisfaction!

Compared to other Prestige car washes I've seen, this one is sad. Free vacuum. Vacuum suction on most of the machines are pretty bad. You have to find the good ones yourself.

Do not use this place! I have used it twice and both times it was a complete rip off. My vehicle Came out dirtier than it went in. The first time wheel shine didn’t work, the blowers at the end didn’t work and the second time it left my truck covered with spots. I had to drive to another place to have it done right because the attendant wouldn’t let me go back through. Stay awayfrom this cesspool! You’d be better off driving through a dirty puddle.

Pricing for the self service bays is robbery. From the time I started the cleaning to finishing (20 mins) I racked up $27.75 in charges while using almost entirely water. What a joke. Vacuums weren't working and none of the nozzle attachments fit on them. Taking my money elsewhere from now on.

Car had soap all over it still and I have “Unlimited “ And tried going to location in Malden And They said I have to go back to this location that had poor car wash results and that I couldn’t get more than one car wash in a day which is not Unlimited like they advertised!

They are cutting corners on the soup to wash your cars. They charge 7 dollars per 5 minutes and the foam brush barely releases foam. The looks to be in its end life with broken machines and trash everywhere

Last February 2025 I went to the Prestige Car Wash in Melrose, Massachusetts. After the attendant guided my tires into the pulley system , I was not asked to leave my car, I paid the attendaent and my car was drawn into the washing cycle . At the mid-wash of this the pulley system seemed to fail and my car was shaken violently back and forth for what seemed like more than 15 seconds. I leaned on my horn to alert the attendent of my trouble but they did not respond. Again my car started to be violently tossed back and forth a second time and I honked my horn again to alert the attendent to no avail. I put my car in drive and drove out over the pulley to save my life, When I was safely out I walked back into the car wash. I went back in to tell the attendant what had happened and him ask why he did not heed my continuous honking he said ,as he looked up from his phone , I did not hear you honking. When I had honked continuously two different times. I am writing this review to forewarn anyone who chooses to use this car wash so they will be on guard that you are taking a huge chance and may incur injuries as I have. I reported this violent shaking incident to Prestige by email since the customer service number listed on Google is not in service anymore. They continue to not take responsibilty for this traumatic imcident. If you have been victimized by this car wash also please let others know. I am quite aware not to apply my brake, to keep my car in neutral and not to turn the steering wheel when going through a car wash.. This car wash is a disaster waiting to happen. Marybeth Lang

Can you believe I went to wash my car 😂😂😂 and they told me I had to clean it first 😂😂😂😂? Why am I paying for a car wash? If I can clean my car, why spend $35? Melrose Prestige is horrible—no customer service, useless.

Come on guys be better this place looks abandoned have some ownership pride . Place is a dump trash everywhere everything is outdated looks like it wasn’t even open till I saw a car come out the tunnel i haven’t been there since the Randy’s days . Anyway the cashless bays self wash is the stupidest thing I ever saw have didn’t work ice everywhere I almost died .You can say i won’t be coming back anytime soon seems off brand for you guys

This is the worst car wash I been to . Vacuum cleaners are weak. Couldn't finish rinsing my car cause Couldn't get change. The guy that was there would only say no have change. Over and over. Wouldn't apologize. Ask for a manager or someone in charge. No manager here is the response I got. Ridiculous customer service. I've been to many of these prestige car wash places and this is the worst.

For sure one of the most neglected locations. All the vacuums are subpar and they’re usually always broken. The whole building and area looks completely malnourished and is clearly not taken care of very well.

Terrible car wash. Car wasnt clean whatsoever, terrible water spots everywhere. Terrible customer service, no apology, no refund... do not go here if want a clean car. Place is probably a front for some type of illegal operation, because they suck at washing cars. UPDATE: The manager said he couldnt refund. I contacted them via the email they provided and got an out of office reply. Basically they scammed me out of $18. Credit card chargeback had to be initiated. Terrible car was and a terrible company. It has to be front, given how terrible they are at washing cars and interacting with customers
