Most reasonably priced smog test around. The person who tested my car was friendly and helpful. I own a 1995 automobile, which another smog test station refused to test. Pit Stop had no issues doing the test.

Saved me! My car has been in the shop for weeks. Got it out last Friday, went in Saturday to get a smog for my plates. Surprise! New law says I no longer need a smog for this year! Tried to pay for my plates on Sunday, says system updating, wait until tomorrow..... tried on Monday, now it says I need a smog.... Tuesday, my plates are due.... went to Pit Stop on Tuesday at 8:15 am. System still says I don't need a smog... my gal there called the State Lab and got special authorization to override the system so I could get a smog (needed or not, I've got to get these plates... today!!!) Long story short... passed my smog and paid for my plates right there... whew! Will never go anywhere else!

Absolutely fantastic! Smog checks are a dime a dozen, so one needs to go somewhere they're quick, friendly, and you get something extra out of it. The smog place at Desert Pit Stop delivers in spades. Always the friendliest people, and rarely a wait. Plus, you get a free exterior car wash at their car wash located right next to the smog check! It's a match made in heaven and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. By the way, they can even do your DMV registration right there. No need to go home and log into the DMV website.

I went to get a smog check on my car this past Saturday. Even though he was crazy busy, Jennar still was super friendly. He took care of the smog quickly and was very nice to chat with while I paid. I’ll definitely be back for my next smog check.

The lady they had working today has a bad nasty attitude. I came today, to get a SMOG test for my registration. She was VERY curt and acted like she didn’t want to service me. I walked in and said hi how are you, she curtly said good, please park your car driver's side facing me (I had problem hearing cause of the maks and music playing overhead, so she repeated it again. So once I parked she says what county and zip code are you registering your vehicle " I went blank cause I couldn't think of what county I'm in since I moved from out of state( my bad, I know) ,so when i said las vegas, she asked me again but with an attitude,, I said I'm sorry I'm having problems hearing you and I just moved here.. she let out an annoyed sigh when she asked me the same question again! I finally said I didn't need this kind of attitude and left . Went over to another smog check area where I was treated way better. I wasn't expecting a big smile and super friendly service but I sure expect respect and understanding, I care about how I was treated .

My wife went there, first the lady didn’t put her “out to lunch sign up”. So of course my wife gets Instant attitude, because of of course it’s my wife’s job to know that it’s her lunch time. She yells at my children...for...being kids...I went there the last time, the other guy was AWESOME!! I was wondering about the bad reviews...it makes sense now...if you see the female worker there...just turn around and go else where... I was told the owner knows she’s an issue...but still keeps her...Never again

This place was super efficient and a great bang for your buck. Cody was very helpful. Got a free car wash, a discount, and they sent my registration into the DMV for me. Took all of 10 minutes and only cost $26.99. I showed him the TacoTuesday deal on the google page. They also offer a military discount on all other days. Will definitely go here again for my next smog check!

Getting an annual smog test can be an inconvenience. Today, I was pleasantly surprised at the great experience I had here! Adrian was so friendly and even apologized for the wait, which was only about 15 minutes. They also provide the vehicle registration! I cannot say enough about the professionalism, convenience, and friendliness of this wonderful place!

Nothing but attitude and rude from the female worker! I’ve been here before and dealt with a gentleman who was very nice and respectful, but this female worker was a prime example of how customer service is few and far between these days. My son and I pulled up to this smog station and noticed a sign on the window near the entrance door stating the employee was at lunch until 2pm. It was 1:45pm at this time. The entrance door was cracked OPEN and I noticed there were people inside the office. Are these customers inside and the employee came back early from lunch? Not sure so I walked in and asked if they were open. The female employee, obviously annoyed, pulls the sign off the glass and points and pokes at it as if I’m some child she was speaking to. With sarcasm and attitude she agrees to do the smog, but in her mind this gave her a reason to be rude. With a bad tone she asks if keys are in the car and I replied, “Yes, the car is running.” She asked same question and I gave her the same response. She responds back with same attitude and try’s to explain why she was asking this question again which made absolutely no sense since I was very clear in my response twice. I advised her she has a bad attitude and didn’t need to be rude therefore we were done here and I would take my business elsewhere. She started laughing and said bye. Lady next time you have visitors in your office why don’t you shut your door all the way so your bad attitude would not be triggered by a customer simply confirming the business is closed for lunch even though the door is open.

I went with a friend to this place, for a smog check up. The place is extremely small. (apparently we have to wait outside, which is not a problem, and we didn't know) There were two people inside, my friend got in and moved to the side. The owner, or whoever the person who was there, looked at her and said, did you see these people? My friend who usually takes things in a funny way, said no! He looked at her and said, what are you here for, she said for a smog, he said, go outside and wait in your car. I looked at him and said, you are very rude. He said she was rude, interrupting my conversation. I told him, she got inside, and moved to the side...He said I'd do the same thing to anyone who would interrupt my conversation. We left and went to Jiff Smog, we met Sunny who was extremely nice. Jiff Smog is only $20. This person could have just said, I'm finishing with these costumers who arrived first, the place is small, would you mind to wait in the car untill I have finished with them? My husband is a costumer here and from now one he will definitely be going to Jiff too.

I had a very uncomfortable interaction with a worker who treated me dismissively and with clear hostility. As a disabled woman wearing an anti-ICE shirt, it felt like I was being singled out for who I am or what I believe. Regardless of personal views, customers should be treated with respect and professionalism. This experience was disappointing and concerning.
