Because of covid , they are not helping like the way before covid. Also better to have people with Auto repair work background in this .,in the organization ( O'Reilly) best interest. at least one expert for advise customers. It's my opinion though

I’ve had a couple rude Employees mostly the older judgmental people who I can tell automatically stereotypes individuals that looks a certain way. Yu kno how that goes.. other than that great customer service and upper management every visit

I have been helped by 6 or more different people by O'Reilly Fairfield in 8 years. Every time I have received beyond exceptional service. This is an awesome place for all your automotive needs. Saved me tons of dollars in minor jobs that an auto shop would have charged an arm and a leg for. Keep it up O'Reilly crew.

Although they are on the pricey side, they are reasonable with their returns. Had a warranty return on a car headlight that had burnt out within the 1-year warranty. I had no problems initiating the return and walked out with the money briskly. Was much appreciated to not have to deal with any hassle.

Nothing spectacularly positive or negative to report about this particular store and my visit to purchase Royal Purple 5w-20 and a funnel. I found what I needed with no problem and completed my purchase in under 5 minutes. The gentleman who rang up my purchase was a little chauvinistic, but I've come to expect that at auto parts stores with boomers and gen x'ers behind the counter. I got over it 30 years ago.

Bought some gel type of glue that was dried out or at least appeared to be. I just wanted some glue that actually came out of it's container. The clerk helping me was friendly and polite and allowed me to just get another bottle of the exact same glue for an even exchange. That's fair so I did and before I left I opened the package and bottle of glue in front of him and said see..... There's almost nothing in there while turning it upside down shaking & squeezing the bottle and holding it there...... Nothing. Maybe it was old or left in the sun or something. I've bought that gel glue elsewhere before and did not have that problem. The other clerk two registers down from him interjected his opinion into my conversation, becoming argumentative and insisting that's how it is..... telling me to read the package and to wait for the glue to eventually come out, claiming he had used that glue before Regardless.... That's unprofessional. You don't argue with an unsatisfied customer and speak in a condescending manner and insist that they're wrong wether or not that may be the case. The man helping me remained calm cool and professional and could see my frustration turning into agitation. I decided to get a different glue and he said I had money due to me because it was a little less. But I just got a new debit card so the refund wouldn't work (had to be on same card) I said just keep it, I'm not mad at You, it's not much anyway, but I need the glue. I told him just keep it, I don't want to argue, I just need the glue and simply walked out of the store. Moments later he ran out of the store and said sir here here's your change, my manager heard what happened and did an override, handing me 1 dollar and a couple coins and my receipt. I thanked him for his efforts to make it right the manager too. If the other guy reads this, he should take a lesson in customer service, regardless of who he thinks is right or wrong. It's a business, not a pissing match.

Clean store and helpful staff. Didn't have any issue when I had to return the break pads that were the incorrect size. Cashier also offered tips on what brand was better and which style would save me more money.

Larry was rude and lazy. He refused to write down the code and then denied any print out I could use for the codes.. And to top it off he advised I go to a certified auto mechanic but would not direct me to one ... so yes, they offer free check engine light but does not honor any of the other things clearly listed on this 2x2 ft sign.

Website showed 6 items in stock for the part I needed. Get to the counter 20 minutes later and was told they were out of stock and couldn't get the part to the store for a couple days. Bad inventory tracking. Store looked clean at least.

I had a very bad experience at this O’Reilly location in Vacaville. One of the employees — a lady at the counter — treated me with clear disrespect and acted in a way that felt racist and unfair. She spoke to me rudely and didn’t offer the same help or respect she showed other customers.

The staff is very helpful but it tends to be a little slow in there because only one person was working the counter with five people in line. And staff do take the extra time to help but as you're waiting it just doesn't seem like a short wait. I was able to get what I was looking for somewhat although I could have gotten something else to make what I needed better but I was told that I didn't need it. It was to fix a tractor tire and it was a patch and I needed the glue. Some cement glue and he said I didn't need it so I didn't buy it and then it turned out when I got home.
