No stars if it would let me!! Went in with my girls and we’re waiting to get help, the one guy was helping someone and as he walked outside with them said “someone will be right with you” then a customer walked right up and a kid with long hair proceeded to help him knowing full well we we’re waiting to be helped! If that wasn’t bad enough the guy who called us over was not customer friendly at all! His name badge said Assistant Manager, all I can say is wow! Won’t EVER be back! As my daughter put it “ I guess it’s because we don’t have a d#*k!!!

Horrible parts. I've never had so many parts fail, one after another after fixing up my truck. And on two different occasions they attempted to sell me returned/used parts. The only reason I go there is to get my money back on the parts that fail before I go buy them somewhere else. Keep your receipts, you WILL NEED them because the garbage they sell WILL FAIL! UPDATE! I was just offered 5 "bonus points", yay... To update this review. Okay, I will. I do go to O'Reilly's for brake cleaner and other cheap stuff that doesn't matter where you buy it from and/or take a large effort to remove/replace. I will say the staffing/hiring since my first review has had a dramatic improvement and they are always competent and knowledgeable. I will NEVER buy their brand name parts though. If they have a better price on, ie.; an AC Delco (do they even carry Delco?), Dorman, etc. part I need, then I will get it there. I stick to GM, so I can't speak for their brand made for other makes, but one has to assume that low quality (if any at all) runs across the board. Maybe they have massively upgraded the quality of the parts they market exclusively, but I don't care to find out the hard way. In my opinion they still owe me roughly $2500 spent in multiple major part failures. If they cut me a check and write me a guarantee on more than the part, say for my time, other tools and whatnot, and sometimes the mechanic bill when I don't have time, and then the next mechanic bill follow that (because unfortunately most mechanics shops use their parts to save money), then I might consider trying out their line of parts again. But I will not risk the high rate of failure I've experienced time and time again anymore, and I would suggest that you do not either, instead pay the extra $10 at a more reputable parts store and save yourself a lot more in fitment/install, removal and reinstall time + materials as well as mechanic bills when it goes catastrophic on you. I'm adding one star for the improvement on employees they hire. Since I didn't have the option to give them 0 stars on my first review it will stay at 1 star, and at least be accurate to my personal experiences as whole that I am reviewing again. To O'reilly's: If this isn't what you had in mind by offering 5 bonus points to update my review, feel free to keep them.

My daughter ran into a shelf here, was crying and one of the cashiers was so sweet, asking her how she was and then grabbed a toy off the rack, bought it for her and gave it to her. I’ve honestly never experienced that before. He went above and beyond and deserves a mention. Thank you for your kindness ❤️

Paul is always very helpful. Most of the employees seem to have good knowledge of parts for cars. Observed one of the employees ignore his customer and spent time trying to swat a fly with a flyswatter. 7 to 10 minutes spent after this fly at the counter.

I get all my auto supplies here because they are the least expensive and you don’t have to prepay for most orders. They only got a four star rating from me because no one could help me with a spanner wrench. Special tool for 10’s of 1000’s of Chevys. Next time !!! I do like them a lot though!

Came here because my dad wasnt able to make it with me today to buy a new battery. He said the guys there would help. When I asked them If they could help the guy told me he was the only guy in there. So I go out to figure it out myself. When I look up there's two guys sitting at a counter doing nothing drinking sodas watching me try to figure it out. It's one thing to tell me you don't provide the service but don't tell me it's because you're the only one working.

Michael went above in beyond helping me evaluate a new car I was in the process off purchasing when I came in for an engine reading! It was a free service and he could've just told me what the reader said but he gave me some excellent advice which truly helped me make a more informed decision as someone who doesn't know much about cars. Thank you!!

Of you have any variation from stock the counter person is lost. Don’t expect them to know how to use the tools they have at their disposal either.

Dominic was fantastic, willing to go above and beyond to help me when I pulled in with a bad battery and a car that might not have started for me to get home! I wasn't expecting him to even change out the battery for me, I told him I thought I could figure it out, but he saved me the time and the stress and did it so quickly and with that professional twist I would have been missing! He even was really understanding about my financial limitations, helping me out with the upfront return battery fee since he was going to be able to keep and turn in the old one after the new one was installed. I have always had great experiences with the employees at this O'Reilly's, the 3rd street location is always been the first place I go, they just seem to have the right people working there, that really will try their best to help, but I was just exceptionally thankful for Dominic's help that night! You all deserve a pay raise! 💯😉

My car died right outside of the building. I called (because I didn't want to ditch my occupants and dog) to see if someone might be willing to come assist me in diagnosing the problem. Maybe check to see if it was battery related (because they do that there). The person on the phone was very clear that nobody would be walking outside to help in any way. They missed a major opportunity to gain my business with the amount of auto parts I go through.

We were told that mixing coolant would be okay, but that leaves out important chemistry. Mixing different coolant types can cause gelling or sludge that restricts passages, or throw off pH and accelerate corrosion in aluminum parts. It usually doesn’t fail right away, which is why this gets brushed off, but long-term it’s a slow death for the cooling system and engine. Proper coolant or a flush is the safer answer.
