Called this place two days prior and made an appointment for Friday the 16th at 9:30 a.m. when I arrived I had to stand outside and wait for a guy to complete washing a car before he even greeted me. Upon speaking to the guy I told him I had an appointment to get my car detailed and he had no idea what I was talking about. He told me to hold on while he called the boss. He came back and told me that he would fit me in usually he would have turned me around and I asked him why would he turn me around and I had an appointment and he just looked at me cluelessly. He told me to park my car on the side of the building and give him my keys so I did so. I told him I would sit in my vehicle and wait for my ride to come. And if they got to my car before my ride got there I had no problem sitting in the chairs that were provided outside, little did I know I would be sitting in my car for an hour and a half without them even getting to the car yet! At this point I should have just left but I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because they were busy so I walked back up and ask the guy did he at least have an estimate when they would be getting to my car? He said oh I'm sorry I forgot you were sitting out there and we are short staffed. I said sir you could have told me this almost 2 hours ago then he said he would get to it right now I said so by you starting the car at almost 12:00 how long will it take and he told me a few hours he looked in the car I said the car is not bad at all there's just a few spots that I need taking care of on the seats I was really adamant about needing the seats shampooed as well as the carpet. Make a long story short when I arrive to pick up the vehicle there were still stains on the seats and I'm not talking about deep stains these were surface stains because when I pointed them out he was able to go get a spray bottle and a brush and get them right out I don't believe the seats were shampooed at all the car did not smell like anything no air freshener no cleaning products nothing there was still crumbs on the carpet which he had to go get the vacuum and do I felt like it was a rushed job. They are asking for damn near $200 for a $50 job at best. In all fairness those guys were out there working hard but I just believed they were understaffed and didn't really have the equipment to clean the car properly. I asked to speak to a manager but a manager was not available so I guess his brother came up and spoke with me I told him my concerns he walked me in the office, knocked a few dollars off the bill and told me if I ever came back that I could get a free VIP which I didn't get a card for I didn't even get his name it's just pointless these guys need to really step up their game. In my opinion this shop should not advertise themselves as a detail shop they should just vacuum the inside of a car out slap some armor all on your dashboard and wash and dry cars. Oh and the change that was left in the cup holder all my quarters yeah they were gone as well. 🤦🏾♀️

Ordered the VIP service. They did a fine job cleaning the majority of the car, but when I looked under the floor mats, there was still dirt. It seems they didn't lift them to vacuum even though it's included in the service. Probably won't return.

They take care of my truck! It's the only place I go. The owner makes sure they clean my tires and they even vacuum out the excess water from inside my rearview mirrors to ensure it doesn't splatter back onto my windows!!!! I'm a loyal customer! I drive 20 minutes just for them when I pass at least 5 carwash places on the way!

I had drink stains on my seats and dirt from summer and winter, pretty dirty interior. Shamefully dirty. Brought my car into this shop for a full detail and wash and they did not disappoint. Lemony fresh for a great price. If you need a car wash or detail, this is the place to go.

I have been in search of a good hand car wash in the downtown detroit area for some time. After riding by a few times I actually stopped for a wash. They did an excellent job. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail (windows, tires, mats, console, dash, etc) the friendly staff and reasonable pricing! I will definitely be back!!!!

I had a pleasant experience today at getting estimates for my car. Travis who is one of the owners took the time to go over all of my questions and I do appreciate the customer service that I received. For years I've heard a lot of good things about Mr pops and I see now why, it will be the place I go for service.Thank you Travis and Thomas.

I run a small rental car company. Sometimes I don’t feel like detailing the inside out myself. I have paid them 2 times to clean my interior and they fail to clean the door jams, cup holders still contain residue, leather seats still have the same sticky spots on them. I ended up going home to clean it out myself. I’m pissed because I still tip them.

They? Will never get my money again first off. They are very tricky and sneaky. They took down the signs that they had cordial pricing, I went in for a regular in. And out he told me it's VIP I said no I just wanna in and out. He said all in and out is vip...long story short. He charged me $40. And my car is half done. I've never paid $40 for a regular car wash. I have dust still on my dash - the outside. Look pretty nice so I will give them that. but $40. You gotta be kidding me. Car washes went from $10 in and out to 25. Nobody charges forty

I took my truck at 9:45 am for a full wax and buff and full detail on the inside. Didn’t get the vehicle back til 4 pm after they said it was only going to take 4 hours. People DO NOT TAKE YOUR vehicle here. They did a horrible job as you can see from the picture

I thought I found "my" car wash with Mr. Pops, but I am thinking no. I went Sunday April 27th, 2025. I paid $40 for VIP + tip. I have a SUV, and I am not sure if it isn't standard to pop the trunk to vacuum, the trunk was opened but it was closed without looking into it or vacuuming it. I guess I should have spoken up then. I wasted time taking everything out just for it to not be vacuumed. I watched the pickup before me get washed. The man wasn't tall so he had to use a ladder to clean the top, I thought, okay good, my sunroof will be cleaned. My turn comes, the ladder was never used, he ran a brush with a long handle along the roof. I didn't think to check it until about 30mins later. The sunroof was extremely dirty; it looked as if I never went to a car wash. I was thrown off from checking it because they had done such a good job with my tires. I was impressed with the outside, until I was able to really examine the job. I'm hoping these things would have been corrected had I noticed while still at the car wash, so I guess what I am passing on, is check your car before you leave.

Stop by today different crew! Guy with white jump suit that drys the hell out trucks not there! Paid $30 for some bull!!! Regular manager guy not there ! Dirty towels used to dry off no soap in dirty water!! When told need to wipe off again with cleaner towels for black truck said towels not dirty!! Went home and went over with clean towels spray wax!! MUST BE NEW MANAGEMENT!!! GOT TO DO BETTER!!!😡😡😡

Brought my car in for a shampoo and interior cleaning. There were missed vacuumed spots on the carpet and the center console seemed entirely ignored. I was allowed to bring the car back for them to fix this but even their followup work did not completely clean their missed spots. The quality of work did not match the amount of money spent here. On top of the service charges they add in an additional fee for covid related expenses which I didn't mind at the time. However after tipping them and paying that extra fee I would have hoped to have received quality work.

Stopped by over the weekend after it snowed and they did a amazing job with getting the salt off of my car and off the mats in my car the employees were very respectful and courteous the waiting area was very comfortable and clean and my service was very fast
