Ha! My master carpenter friend says he wishes he had a whole Menards all to himself. It's his favorite store in the world. I think it beats Home Depot or Lowe's. Selections are best. Menards is bodacious and awesome! But my favorite paint brand is Benjamin Moore, so I go elsewhere for that. I just wish the rebate thing would go away, and they just priced stuff the best they could. I miss/forget rebate credits. It's a little tedious. Just give us your best price, Menards!

Recently my opinion has changed on menards. The point of drive up/pick up is to make life easier for us that have a busy schedule. If I wanted to walk through the entire store to pick up my purchase, and then stand in line to have the receipt verified, I might as well just shop myself. Why get rid of allowing us to drive to the back and pick it up? Worst decision.

I went the Saturday, and I try to bought that tool that says is 6.99 and they try to charge me 19.98 and I prove it and they didn’t honored the prices marked was around 1:00 pm Ivan was one of the guys and a blonde girl who was in charge of the cashiers. Definitely the worst store.

I love Menards! Especially when you order something online and you go pick it up. They send you a QR code…. You drive up to the kiosk and it scans in the QR code…. The gate opens…. And you drive back to the Order Pickup area. You call a phone number and they will bring it outside…. or you can go inside and they give you a cart to donut yourself. The service is friendly and helpful. When you leave, they scan in the same QR code…. Check what you have loaded…. They open the gate…. And drive away. Simple and easy…. And FAST!

Stood at the pickup area for 20 minutes never was acknowledged by Lexi or Kaylee manager and assistant manager theyjust walked by me and another customer. A simple " i will be right with you" would have been appreciated. This is why I go to Lowes.

Took 35 minutes to get 2 gallons of house paint while 2 employees stood around. Also needed assistance in plumbing, an spoke to a woman, she said one minute then stood at a desk while we waited and had to ask another employee. NONE of the store employees have any enthusiasm to do there job. Much better service at Lowes.

When I go here for something I need 8 out of 10 times they will have what I'm looking for. My husband has several of the Masterforce power tools which is like Menards brand power tools and they hold up to the job requirement every time. It is a huge store...unless your familiar with the layout or have hours of time on your hands to walk around and around....you're more than likely going to need to ask for help to find a specific item. The pictures I've posted are of the outside gardening area.

I sent my husband to Menards in Kenosha tonight to return some wood we brought that ended up being too tall for our project. I gave him the receipt I had paid $150 in cash and $500 on a debit card he went there and returned the wood the lady at the counter told him that if he wanted cash back he would have to bring back all the items. That is the most dumbest things I’ve ever heard. I’ve been in retail over 17years a front end manager and I’ll tell you now if someone comes to my store to return an item and they paid half cash and half card they would get it back how they want or back on both payment methods. This Menards and the head cashier here make their own rules as they go it’s annoying cause I had to settle for store credit instead of getting my cash back. Like stop making things hard for the customers that are keeping your store open. Without customer you all will be without jobs start taking care of your customers already.

Girls in the paint department are unknowledgeabl, can't answer questions and have an attitude. Even after all of that I said "thank you", and didn't get a response from them however I did get a response from the older (mid 40s) gentleman. He didn't even help me but said Thank you!! ....It just goes to show that these younger humans have no respect or knowledge!!! So sad

Always have what we need. If I can't find it, I just ask and get an associate to help me. The associates go out of the way to help. The 11% rebate is also a good deal

I love this location. I purchased a patio door and used a contractor from the list in the store . Worst mistake ever. The person they suggested, Jon/John, the guy who sold me the door, claimed that Jon/John is the top guy to install windows and patio doors. Well, it was delivered to me with the screen door bent. The door was 700.00 and I was charged 1,000 to install. Rain was literally pouring in around the frame, I have moisture in my kitchen, sooo bad, I called him evertime it rained. He and the person helping him came out 3 times. The door wasn't installed properly. The guy drinks and would cuss me out when I called but would forget the next day. So I pretty much paid 1,800 for moisture and mold. I stopped calling the guy. And have to figure out how to move forward. I guess a law suit. Its a shame that I am stuck with this problem.. What ever you do, don't hire Jon. I have no screen door, mold and moisture when it rains. Other than that, I still love this location.

Store manager Scott does not want to talk to customers is rude and arrogant tells front end to take care of it when I'm standing right there Trying to get simple order for wood that they don't have enough of but I need to place special order and their warehouse shows stock but lead time is 4 weeks it takes Store management to get involved and expedite while Lumber department tells me to drive to multiple stores to get want i need...that's terrible customer service and store manager tries to feed me excuses and reasons for what they can't do their process is terrible They claim they want to keep my business which equals thousands annually but they really don't show it unless they start changing maybe need to research options will see if this review triggers a response

I spent nearly $5,000 on quartz countertops at Menards and regret the entire experience. We initially hesitated to buy from them due to their limitations on sheet sizes—we specifically didn’t want a seam. The sales associate reassured us we wouldn’t notice it. That was completely false. When the countertops arrived, one piece had the pattern running north-south, while the other was east-west. The mismatch was glaring. When we voiced our concerns, the sales rep literally hid in another aisle, peeking around as we spoke with a general manager. Completely unprofessional. I also felt the leadership does not have skills to handle issues at all their approach everything is the customers fault. It took an additional two weeks to receive a replacement piece with the correct pattern, but the issue didn’t stop there. Because they didn’t use the same saw or cutting process, the seam turned out terrible—it catches dirt and is visually obvious (see attached photo). It looks nothing like a high-end installation. Working with management was frustrating. They treated us as if they could do no wrong, but if you, the customer, make a mistake—it’s on you. Menards third-party vendor, has a 1.6 rating on Google (also pictured), which says a lot. In hindsight, I should have gone with a company that offered a true one-piece solution, better service, stood behind their product and better pricing. I also regret not disputing this charge with my credit card company. Save yourself the stress—go elsewhere.

We are new to the area and went to buy some things to fix up our new house. We had two questions. The first was about bathroom cabinets, and the second was in the cut wood department. Both times we were snapped at and treated rudely. The worker in the cabinet department even said, "I wouldn't know. Do you really want me to go back and look up the price?" My first thought was NO! You are so rude. I would not want to bother you and ask you to do anything for me. I did not say this, but was thinking it. All that would have needed to be said is that we could check online, or a nicer offer to go check. Then, when we went and asked if they cut plywood to specific sizes, we were once again answered rudely. This worker turned his back to us when he answered. After hearing how the worker talked to us and my reaction, Anthony was so kind to help us. He asked us why we needed the wood and found us the perfect fit. I understand that people have a bad day, but to have TWO different employees, from two different departments, act rudely to us when we were asking a question is ridiculous. This first impression of the Menards in Kenosha is not a good one AT ALL! I worked in customer service. I think some need retraining.

Typical Menards, although some departments - especially storage and shelving - are messy. Overstock placed anywhere, even if i's on the shelf under the wrong price. For example, my photo of the storage bins - many are in the wrong place. Selection and prices are standard Menards. Friendly and helpful staff. No problem finding employees to help.

If they carry it their price is usually the lowest. Their lumber is better than the other big stores. They don't offer cutting service but with 4x4 and 2x4:plywood there isn't much need. Abundant selection of tools and hardware. I don't buy any of their house brand tools. I bought an entire house there.

Thank you BOB from BUILDERS DEPARTMENT!!!! I recently purchased a garage kit (first time) from Kenosha Menards. This was a huge process from designing the garage down to the details of the color of the siding, roof shingles and even the garage door opener. If it wasn't for Bob I don't think I could have done it without him. I most likely would have gone a different route. I noticed customers would ask for Bob and patiently wait. So I did the same and I am very happy I did from start to finish for my brand new garage. He would share his scheduled hours for the following day and even gave me his direct number to text/call him with any questions. He took the time to answer all my questions always with a smile. If he didn't have the answers he would investigate and get back to me. One day I happen to run into Bob after his a scheduled hours. I know this because I talked to him at the start of his shift that day. So I was not expecting to see him. He was off the clock on his way out but he still stopped and asked how things were going. I asked him a quick question, he offered to walk me to the area where I could find the what I was looking for. I told him he did not have to do that since he was already punched out and on his way out but he insisted, he could have easily asked another employee to take me, that's the kind of customer service he provides. He goes above and beyond and deserves all the recognition he a true example of GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!
