Outstanding First Experience at Lutz Clean Car Wash! I was looking for a self service car wash and found Lutz Clean Car Wash and saw good reviews. When I visited, the experience exceeded all expectations. The owner personally came up to guide us through the best way to wash our car, explaining the tools available and how to use them effectively. He checked in and see if we needed any further assistance, which showed genuine customer care. The facility itself was spotless, well-maintained, and made for a smooth car-washing process. I washed my car through the drive thru bay and it worked great. Easy and simple. The other bays has a pretty cool foam wash and soap options. Great for people washing their trucks and vans. Also, plenty of space to clean the inside of your car after done using the bay.

Loved my experience at Lutz Clean Car Wash. This hidden gem is clean, well-maintained, and super easy to use. What made it truly exceptional was the owner, who went above and beyond to help out. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and courteous, making sure I had everything I needed and even offering tips for the best wash results. You can tell he genuinely cares about both his customers and the quality of service. It's rare to find that kind of personal attention these days, especially at a self-service car wash. The equipment worked perfectly, the area was spotless, and it was clear that everything is kept in top shape. Highly recommend this place if you want a great wash. I’ll definitely be coming back.

This is an amazing self service car wash. Mike, the new owner, has upgraded all the equipment and John continues doing an Epic job keeping the place nice. If you have not met John, you are missing out. He always has a smile on his face and something positive to say to brighten my day. I won’t go anywhere else to wash my vehicles!!

Been using lutz car wash for my truck and corvette for a few years now they got everything you need to wash you car correctly and they just renovated the place so it’s all brand new equipment and fairly priced also there’s not to many hand carts washing places anymore this beats taking your car thru 1 of those automatic tunnel washes which can scratch your paint!

Disappointing experience! Used Saturday afternoon to wash my truck. The trifoam wax "gun" didn't work properly and dripped down my hand and arm. Which stained my hand and arm a blueish green color for a day! Machine ate a quarter and didn't register as a credit. And the spot free rinse left water spots all of my truck! Waste of my time and money!

0 out of 5 stars. Place is so bad. Stole $2 by not dispensing items bought. All the equipment is not working up to speed. It takes $10 for 10 minutes. The vacuums are trash. Place is Aweful, never used to be like this. Recommend don’t use unless you’re cleaning oversize or a boat. Place is a filthy rathole.

I have been going to Lutz Clean Car Wash for many years. Today, I had an issue with the new payment system and I could not get the knob to turn on the machine. It charged me $30 because it kept running. I called the owner Mike and he apologized for the inconvenience and explain to me what happened. Very knowledgeable and understanding. He refunded me immediately. I will continue to support the local small businesses. You can talk to someone and not just an operator or deal with someone at the corporate level. I highly recommend using Lutz Clean car wash!

Will never go again. They literally give you 15 seconds per quarter. Spent 10.00 did not even have enough time to clean the wheels. They give you no time for your money I can sign up to any one of these automatic car washes for 24.99 A month and have unlimited washes. Here I spent $10 and left with my tires dirty because I could not even get to those. I am somebody that washes my car once a week and I will never spend a dime there It is ridiculous. They give you no time for your money and you have to run around the car like a maniac just to get it halfway done after spending $10. $10 is ridiculous for a self service car wash and you can’t even finish for $10. >>>Reply to your response. I understand everything is getting more expensive but you cant even wash your car for 10.00 at a self service wash that is pretty insane. I was even running around the car like a maniac. I would never run my car through a tunnel wash that is why I go to self service. How do all these car washes give you Unlimited for 24.99 a month some are even 19.99 a month and at a self service where I have to do the work myself I cannot even get 1 wash for $10.00? I live in Hudson and I wash up here normally and it is $5.00 and I can do a complete wash. I paid $10.00 and could not even finish, I left with the tires dirty and had to stop on the way home and finish the tires.

I had a billing issue where I was charged more than expected after using the self-serve wash, but the owner Mike was super responsive and explained how the system works (there’s a button with a LED light you’re supposed to press to stop the timer). He refunded the overcharge quickly and was very helpful. Great customer service, appreciate him taking the time to make it right! Car wash is solid, nice to have a self service rather than all these terrible new car washes on every corner.

I read a lot of good things about this car wash. It he self car wash has become a rare species. I am happy they are still around. Unfortunately, many people may have forgotten the basic life competencies on how to behave when the parents are not watching. There are 4 self washing bays and one drive thru washing bay. Unfortunately one bay was broken, one bay was used by someone to fix his car, one bay was a used as a make out spot and one bay did not drain. Leaving me with no option to wash. I know this is not all the owners fault. I had better luck during the day time than in the early evenings and night time. I usually would give this spot a higher ranking as the owner seems to really care. One thing I am confused about is the charge by credit card feature. It shows the time and not the $ amount you get charged. At 11:03 I stopped and the display said I will be charged $5.50 - which I think is a good price. I would prefer the $ amount to show up- as that is more relevant than the minutes I spend cleaning - and it would make me actually spend more money.

Use this location to wash your vehicle. The brushes, and wash bays, are clean. It is also relatively inexpensive (about $15 for a full hand wash.) The wash bays have an easy pay option. Just tap your credit card to activate a session and choose from various wash options (foam, wax, dryer, etc.) Be sure to hit the STOP button on the payment machine, so that it closes your session. Vacuums are also available that use quarters to activate. The owner is regularly on site and ensures that all customers receive great service. For example, he let me run my car through the large air dryer, after the handheld dryer did not work in my wash bay. He even paid quarters for my vacuum. Great service all around. Highly recommend.
